"What?  I thought that thing took her?"

"I'm not sure if Strahd got her or not. That's why I'm heading home. That's where she'd be if she eluded him."

"Hurry up then!  Let's go!"

Winter races ahead to see if Ireena is home.

Ismark grits his teeth as Winter rushes past him and he traverses toward the mansion with a limp still. As Winter gets close to the mansion, she can spot a singular zombie clawing on the front door, as if it were trying to get in.

Urgog growls as Winter takes off. "Should stick together." he mutters as he follows after with the rest of the group.

Winter slides to a halt as soon as *he* sees the zombie.

"Guys, it's a zombie!" He shouts over his shoulder.

Winter begins backing up until *he* is 60 feet from the zombie and casts Frostbite at it.

OOC:

zombie must make a Constitution saving throw of 13 or take 5 cold damage and have disadvantage on its next attack.

Urgog looks past Winter with his one good eye and growls. He frees his swords and begins to move forward towards the zombie. "Figures."

The zombie gets pelted by Winter's Frostbite and the icy coats its body. The zombie slams into the door upon impact and groans. It turns around looks upon the adventurers.

We now enter combat.

 The party will be first to act. Everyone's within 30 feet of the zombie.

Urgog moves forward, weaving his blades back and forth and slashes at the zombie with both.

Silver attack: 12
Damage: 7
Scimitar attack: 16
Damage: 5

Winter takes a couple of steps back and then throws a Fire Bolt at it.

Bonus Action: None

Movement: Backwards until he is about 60 feet from the Zombie.

Urgog swiftly charges to the zombie and is able to chop it into many pieces while Winter blasts it with a Fire Bolt and burns the zombie to a pile of ash.

"Well done." Ismark says as he limps onward toward the mansion.

"Why was there a zombie at your door?  Are zombies common in this town?"

Winter follows Ismark to the Mansion.

Ismark grunts as he limps along. "Zombies and wolves like to make attempts to infiltrate peoples homes. They must've seen someone enter." Ismark says as he gets closer to the door.

Urgog grunts at the dead zombie and turns and follows into the mansion, pausing to put the swords back up.

"Well how about that?"

Winter looks at the body as they go by to see if it is anyone he recognizes from his short time in town. 

"These weak undead were no match for you all! Shame I couldn't join in on the fun!"

Ismark eventually reaches to the door, and lightly knocks on it. "Ireena, are you in there?" he calls out, as he twists the door knob to see it's locked. He waits patiently to see if he receives a response.

"Why not just barge on in?" Thademar suggests.
