OCC: Someone, I didn't see it on anyone's sheet. Also, not sure if anyone wants items from the Goblin's before you go. Scimitars, leather, shields and short bows.
Denethir
As you move south down the hall, your eyes are drawn to the left. Dimly, you see the blue light, as if emanating from the room beyond.
OCC... Eurim is sharing his luck. Map on campaign board.
Opening the double doors, you are presented with once was, a luxurious antechamber for the King. Now filled with broken furniture, ripped cushions, and rotting carpet and tapestries. A window on the opposite side of the room lets in just enough light from the dark, overcast sky for you to be able to see. A door on your left, hangs open on broken hinges, while a door on your right remains closed though battered.
Keestake follows you in, weeping angrily and muttering about defilement and protecting Himself (the King).
Denethir, the glow seems to be coming from the next room on the left.
With a shriek like a banshee, the door opens on its hinges.
This was once the King's sitting room. Again broken furniture, ripped pillows and rotting carpets and tapestries litter the room. Added to the debris are rusted cutlass's, harpoons and other paraphernalia of a life spent at sea. A window lets in light and a closed door is on the opposite side of the room. A broken desk in the southwest corner is the source of the glow, as you near the desk, the glow seems to be coming from inside of the desk, behind where the drawers used to be.
Eurim hugs a wall, trying to stay in the shadows and to keep an eye out for movement. He steals forward towards the closed door in the sitting room, ignoring the desk for now. He gestures Ruki to stay slightly behind him as he peers through any keyhole or opening that might give him more information on what lies beyond.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Denethir
Curiosity getting the better of him, Denethir moves towards the desk while Eurim examines the door. Using the power of the wand, he searches the broken desk for the magical source.
OCC: magic of the wand is still active, so you dont need to use a charge... Yet
With the sense of magic, you easily discover the false panel in the desk. Tied to the back panel is a dagger, which even if it did not glow with magic you would be able to tell by its pristine condition. Also is a small (1 dose) vial filled with a light blue liquid. You can tell it's power is of transmutation.
"Well this is an interesting find... and yet another mystery potion for someone to partake of." Denethir retrieves the dagger and vial from the desk, and offers them around the room, particularly towards Keestake, in the off-chance he could tell the group about the items. "Recognise these?", he asks their guide.
Keestake makes an angry move to Denethir, then stops. "No, never have seen them. But the must belong to himself. I guess now we must take them to keep them away from the likes of him," he says pointing at Ruki. "Yes, yes, they'll be safe from his ilk soon enough."
(Happy to take it, but I think Denethir has it)

OOC - I've added the wand.
Denethir
The half-elf beckons in the direction of the light, and begins to advance towards it slowly. "Careful now, there is something ahead."
Investigation: 5
It is coming from inside the Kings quite to you left and slightly behind you... The Detect Magic is still active.

Doing his best to remain quiet, he pushes open the left-hand door slightly, his right hand clenching his coin.

"Ruki!" Eurim whispers. "How far did the goblins explore these halls? Do you know what lies ahead?"
Ruki 21
Ruki points to the undesturbed dust on the floor.
No, Goblin. No, Orc. Not from this time. Before, don't know.

"Good job, Ruki." Eurim will test the door lightly to see if it will open, or if it is in fact locked.

”no telling if the room on the other side has another entrance. Let’s open it on three and be ready to shoot. One... two...”
