With a thump, Eurim's bolt flies across the beach, catching Hafkris in the shoulder as he dodges Remus' initial attack.
The impact half turns Hafkris just as another human bounds from the darkness, his foot extended in a powerful kick. Unfortunately, Hafkris turn ruins the attack and the stranger lands in the sand, rolling and spinning to come up ready for combat.
OCC: Denethir, just want to confirm, you are moving and taking the ready action.
Lyle, having found a smooth flat stone, zings it side hand as if skipping a stone. The stone sails through the night striking Hafkris above the eye sending him staggering backwards a a couple of steps.
Nicholas and Janey, you are too far away for a movement and attack. Are you going to continue to help Eurim?
OCC: Fortunately, in college I did take an archery class, so I know you can throw an arrow like a dart. So I will grant you the "dart" throw. Anything beyond 20 ft would be at disadvantage, though. Moving to Lyle would put you in range, so please roll (unless I missed it).
Seeing the others begin to attack, Janey lays down the bolts on the floor of the ship for Eurim. She grips her manacles firmly in both hands and moves in to get closer to the action. not quite being able to reach Hafkris, she positions herself by the spot the half-elf (Denethir) had been standing. She shouts "It seems the tides have finally turned for you, Hafkris. I have been looking forward to this day."
(She holds her action to attack with the manacles if Hafkris gets close enough.)
Seeing Janey's attempt with the manacles, Lusith is going to try and move in and throw a handful of wet sand in his face to distract Hafkris for her to try again.
(Basically take the help action to give her advantage on another disarm attempt.)
Eurim's luck holds true, and his bolt flies through the crowd and takes Hafkris in the left side of his chest, spinning him completely around as he falls face first into the sand. Blood flows from his wounds, and he coughs and spits blood into the sand. His breath comes in painful gasps.

Nicholas had hoped to move to Lyle, then throw a crossbow bolt like an improvised dart or dagger.
...but maybe that would be out of range? So then I will just move to him and hold my action in case he comes in range.

If Hafkis has moved within Janey's reach:
Seeing Hafkris cut Remus down so suddenly, Janey will use the manacles she is holding to improvise and try to knock his sword from his hand.
13 +1 if this is a Dex check.
[I did not roll damage as this is not an attack on Hafkris but an attempt to disarm him. Let me know if you do want me to roll damage.]
Disarm: 19
Hafkris: 15 vs Janey 14.
Janey swings her manticles at Hafkris' hand, just missing as he pull his sword free of Remus.

"Dammit" Janey spits as the end of her manacles meant for Hafkris's hand land with an inconsequential thud in the sand at her feet.
OOC - I've already taken my turn (post #57), aren't we onto round 2 now?
I think kasian started with earlier editions of d&d. Held actions may have worked differently than 5e where a held action consumes your turn
Paladin - warforged - orange
OOC - to keep things moving, I'm not taking any actions in round 1, just what was stated in #57.
