Tony pipes up, “Ey, bear boy, what’s the deal here. Couldn’t find a bear or mouse to take over? Had to go for a guy with a... Alright, seriously, quit the smiling. You’re freaking me out.”
Adelaide stares at Tony with wide eyes. Apparently 8-year-olds don't address multi-millionaires they have never met like that in this world...
The three of you hear a soft BOOM accompanied by some billowing smoke out of the door labeled "Back Room". You hear a woman begin to cough and swear from the same direction.
From the bathroom, you hear a deep man's voice shout, "Hells bells, Ruhi! Are you blowing up my rec room again?!" Suddenly standing in the door of the bathroom is an enormous man. He looks ex-military, with a close-cropped haircut that is starting to go white at the temples. He is wearing neatly-ironed slacks and polished shoes. He's also holding a toilet plunger and wearing a pink apron and yellow rubber gloves.
"That's... Normal here?" Amaruve asks regarding this plane, his smile feeling more forced and uncomfortable. He looks out the open door at the surrounding area, and suddenly recognizes the place, but his question remains. The last time he was here the world was completely devoid of people.
"No, damnit, it's not normal!" growls the military man. He strides over to the "Back Room" door and, finding it locked, begins to bang on it. "Ruhi, are you conscious?!" he shouts.
You hear a muffled, unintelligible response. Then there is a click, and the door swing opens. Surrounded in a haze of acrid black smoke, there stands an Indian woman. Her face is soot-blackened and her hair is standing on edge. Small tracings of green electricity arcs between the spikes of her hair; in a word, she appears to be literally and figuratively shocked. Her mouth is nevertheless fixed in a manic gin.
"I did it," she says without preamble or apology. "I managed to get a 4.2% improvement on our proton pack gains while reducing energy expenditure by nearly 6%. SIX PERCENT, Miles!" Suddenly her eyes land on the group standing in the garage. "Oh, there are people here..."
Patrick's smile fades. Down to business... "Ruhi! Update!" He says forcefully, ignoring the photo op. He gestures toward a table for everyone to sit. He moves to sit himself, but pauses looking at the grimey seats, and decides to stand at the head of the table instead.
With everything moving so quickly, Perspicacious barely has time to comment, but she hear's herself mutter a "Most excellent..." as she sees the electrified woman appear. She joins the others at the table, lazily falling into one of the chairs and propping a leg up on the arm of it. "Yes, let's find out what's going on and get to the bottom of any business that needs dealing with," is what she intended to say. "So, what's happening my dudes?" is what comes out of her mouth. Apparently this host's mannerisms and language were not going to conform to her own. Sigh. Might as well lean into it.
Jean's eyes twinkled with mischief and she replied quietly to Tony. "Supposedly, but I'm half-convinced I'm still insane from that one time we got turned into mice."
Patrick's smile fades. Down to business... "Ruhi! Update!" He says forcefully, ignoring the photo op. He gestures toward a table for everyone to sit. He moves to sit himself, but pauses looking at the grimey seats, and decides to stand at the head of the table instead.
Miles (the military guy) and Ruhi exchange puzzled looks, then follow Amaruve to a small table in the corner of the garage. They're joined by Perspicacious, who props his feet up on the table. "Absolutely. Not." Miles barks. "Feet on the ground, cadet!"
Adelaide's eyes widen once again and she gestures back toward the little boy and the reporter standing awkwardly by her desk. Shaking her head, she apologizes for her employers and says, "This will just take a second. In the meantime, why don't you get some footage in front of the ECTO-2?" She points at the car, then walks over to the table with the others.
Ruhi clears her throat and powers up an overhead projector, shuffling a sheaf of transparent pages. "Adelaide, would you please take some notes? Ah-ah, not with the pencil and paper." She pushes a jet-back typewriter over to her. "Use the ghostwriter." Adelaide just sighs and stares at the device with a grimace. As Ruhi begins walking the team through a series of graphs and tables, her secretary plunks away at the keys of the ghostwriter. A ghostly green sheet of paper appears inside, which moans spookily as Adelaide records the meeting.
Tony’s eyes widen, “Oh shivalry.” Taking note that this body won’t let him swear, he whispers over to Jean, “So... this kid’s dream was to become a ‘ghostbuster.’ I’m pretty sure that Amaruve’s body possessed a rich dude that arranged for this award winning kid to meet them. You’re here to report and get him some good publicity and he...” He looks over to Bearman, “Doesn’t actually have any authority here.”

"Join us!" Amaruve calls to the guests giving April a mischievous wink. Then he interupts Ruhi in the middle of... Whatever it is she was going on about... "And... The wall?" He asks. These Ghostbusters probably know all about the wall and it's eminent collapse, but he can't help but consider the effects such an event will have on their business. He smiles widely again.

Blank stares.
Maybe it's because you just invited a kid and a journalist to the world's most depressing earnings report.
Maybe it's because the normally loquacious, could-talk-a-goose-into-buying-a-down-pillow Mr. Bateman is speaking in monosyllabic near-grunts.
Maybe it's because they have no idea what this wall you're referring to is. Miles and Ruhi look at one another, then look at the wall right behind them, completely confused.
Tony sighs, “Alright, this is getting us nowhere. Ey, schmucks,” Tony walks over to the group, “So, I get the feeling that you get the feeling that everything ain’t the same as it was about... eh... ten, fifteen minutes ago. Am I right? Eh, don’t answer, course I am. So, here’s the deal. We’re from another plane, much like the ghosts that you... seem... to be familiar with. We’re a group that hops and skips around these planes trying to fix things that would blow em up. Once again, like your ghost problem. So, anyway, each of us are possessing the body of, not by choice, a random passerby. I’m Lil’ Big Tony,” He points to each of the members, “Perspicacious, Jean, Amaruve, and... ehhhh... Fiorello is probably somewhere. Anyway, like I said, we’re here to fix your little underworld problem. So, lay it on us.” The child known as Jason Yi sits back on a nearby chair, crosses his legs, and makes the ‘well, go on’ gesture.

Ruhi, Miles, and Adelaide exchange glances, then they burst out laughing. "Son, you're quite the little firecracker aren't you?" grumbles the military man congenially, wiping away a tear from his eye with a yellow gloved hand. "Tell you what: We're gonna finish up this little meeting, and then you get to take a tour of the station. Would you like that?"
(Here's your bad outcome for the ghost die...)
As Miles speaks, Tony, you see clear as day the spectral form of a skeletal horse begin to ooze out from the wall above you. Its skull is a sickly, glowing green, and in its otherwise empty eye sockets an orange flame flickers to life as it fixes you with its gaze. No one else (including the rest of the party) sees this.
A shrill beeping sounds from Ruhi's hip. She picks up a handheld device with a lighted spinning antennae and mutters, "Damn PK meter... this thing has been lighting up like a Christmas tree for no reason lately." She smacks the device and sets it face-down on the table. "That reminds me Mr. Bateman, I think that you will be very pleased with the wide-array PK scanner I've been developing. With enough of these placed around the city..."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Tony’s eyes narrow at the ghost. He raises an eyebrow and starts giggling incessantly, “Oh boy, you think you’re a threat. C’mon pony, I’m gonna break every bone in your nonexistent body!” Tony is gonna swing a wild haymaker at the horse, which has advantage due to his ability.
Amaruve let's out a nervous chuckle that's abruptly cut off as he drops back out of the kid's reach. He wonders if bringing Tony along was a good idea. If he doesn't make it back, will it raise any suspicion?
"Uh, Ruhi, don't look now, but I think your PK might be OK, if you catch my drift. Check out that gnarly horse the little dude is punching! Party on!"Ted jumps up and makes the motions of playing a guitar in the air. An electric guitar riff is heard briefly, but strangely doesn't seem to phase anyone.

Major Miles (yes, he's a major) looks around, startled. "Corn blast it! There's that infernal hippie music again!" Ruhi, however, looks up sharply at your warning, then takes a second look at her PK meter just as Jason/Tony launches himself off the table to deliver a stunning uppercut to the horse's jaw.
Impossibly. Unbelievably. Incredibly, the little boy's bare fist connects with the ghost. There is a flash of green light and a splort of slimy ectoplasm that splatters across the wall. The ghost whinnies grotesquely and tumbles onto the tabletop with Tony astride it. Everyone can see it now.
As it lands, you all realize that the body of this skeletal equine-headed creature is like that of an excessively muscle-bound dude. He's wearing a tattered green garment that blows in the non-existent wind. The orange flames in its eyes flare brightly, and then he sinks through the table and floor. Ruhi yelps and dashes to a supply closet against the wall. Major Miles quietly strips his yellow gloves, lights a cigar, and pulls a handheld proton blaster from its holster under his shoulder. Adelaide rolls her eyes and strides quickly toward the door labeled "Back Room", smacking a red button on the wall as she passes it, which plunges the room into blacklight as a whooping alarm sounds.
A ghostly wind begins to blow, sending the meeting notes and other papers flying into the air. Ruhi is now fully equipped with proton pack and ghost trap at the ready.
"FOOOOOOOOOOLLLS," you hear from everywhere and nowhere.
Jean, or April rather, did what came naturally. She filmed. The PK stuff made no sense to her, but it went in the camera anyway and when the ghostly shout came she looked around for the source, camera first. "This is April O'Neil for Channel 6 News, it's another day in the Big Apple, we're all about to die." Came the rather cynical observation.
