"Things are well for the most part. Yes bobby is growing like a tree!" Rob lets out a heart laugh. "Ilaziath has been in the bog for about a week now. So I'm running low on gator hides, but I hope he is alright. It's not like him to have ventured for so long in there." Rob turns to look at Xeratriczs examining a hide, "Well Xeratriczs, I may be able to teach you some tricks, like that blind stitch your trying to see there."

"There are a few poisonous and toxic creatures. This antitoxin would do the trick normally. But if are looking to make your own or for a quick fix, we have herbalism kits, and healers kits. available."
Dryad's
Ytriel turns a few heads of the patrons sitting in the Dryad's Dew. The elven barmaid stops back by the table, "You fellas doing alright? Is there anything else I can get you?"

“How rustic. Yes I am a traveler, I grew up and studied in Massinth. Now I wander, collecting stories for my next book. I’ve come across many thrilling things; while these goblins don’t excite me, this mythic white gator is right up my alley. I love a good local legend, and if we happen to slay the beast I’m curious to see how you transform its flesh into jam. And perhaps I’ll get a new pair of shoes out of it too.” He says with a wink. At the barmaid’s question he gives a gentle smile and shakes his head. “I’m fine, thank you.”
Brunik takes the time to order more ale, telling her "It shall take some time, we are awaiting some more." He nods once Yt tells about Massinth. He wasn't sure where that was, and admits to it. However, when asked about how to jam "It is a simple process really. You take it by grinding it into a paste...." He goes on to inform Yt about some of the basic steps of jamming that most anyone knows. He doesn't give any secrets away, but he wasn't sure how much others knew of the jamming process
"Thank you Onyn. I bet you he went after that damned alligator again! Kjever will be the death of that poor hunter. I think he's made it his life's goal. I'd be willing to pay you for whatever hides you bring back."
Healers:
"Well the antitoxin runs about 50gp. The ingredients are very difficult to procure, especially in these parts. Do you know which part of the Soundless Bog you are heading to? The really deadly beasts tend to lip in the deeper southern parts. I think the proximity from the town and travelers scared most of them off." The healer is in long beige and green robes, as he finishes his sentence he turns around to grab a vial filled with a thick yellow ichor, as well as two healing kits to lay out on the table in front of him.

"I see" says Godric "Well, we are not so far to the southern parts I think, and hope " he adds with a smile " for I am a little bit short of funds right now. But let me know if I should look for something useful for you in the bog and I will bring it back to you."
"We don't need anything currently since a caravan was able to arrive from Klippstad. However, those bandits are making our shipments harder to come by. If you were to bring us back some watercress." The healer turns and pulls out some herbs. They are a dark leafy green, and have tiny round leaves. "This grows abundantly in the still waters. We use it to help create our healing potions and other health tonics. We may be able to strike a deal."

"Ok "replies Godric " I will keep an eye for this plants and bring it back to you. May the Light shine upon you "he says as a goodbye and go looking for the others.
You all gather at the southern entrance to the town. Large stone walls stand on the edge of town with guards posted around the top. An iron gate is open ahead of you and through it you can see dark clouds in the distance but much nearer is a sunny skies. The guards watch as you pass through. They turn to each other then call out, “Keep an eye out for Kjever, he’s a sneaky sonnuva *****.” They chuckle and close the gate behind you. It is apparent that Jarl Bloodjaw is taking no risk with the possibility of a goblin uprising nearby.
Rolling hills greet you as you begin your journey south towards the Soundless Bog. The crunch of snow echoes in the quiet tundra with each foot fall. The fresh snow whips around dancing in the air with the light breeze. It is about mid day as you set out together.
Ytriel is chipper as the group sets off, happy to be on the road again. He turns to the hulking half-orc walking alongside them. “So, 'Beast' is it? You said you’re quite familiar with the bog yes? How would you describe it? Any cautionary tales?” he prods.
Godric tries to keep the pace their guide has, but is hard to keep up with all his armor and gear. But he doesn't complaint and with a stern look in his young eyes he follows the party.

"Beast is what the people of the city call anything big and ugly that they don't understand."
He pauses, letting his eyes play over the terrain, not stopping at any one point but taking in the whole and allowing anything that shouldn't be there to catch his attention.
"The bog is rich in life and rich in death. Dangers natural and unnatural swarm its waters. Watch where you step -- many things are not as they appear."

A rabbit hops across the path ahead of you. Onyns eyes follow the rabbit and witnesses a hawk swoop down and scoop it up. Just as the hawk takes off again Onyn walks through a spider web jutting out.
A small glade next to the road to the bog seems eerily dark and cold. More so than Onyn is familiar with on his normal journies into the bog. As Onyn investigates the webs a little more closely, a voice pops into all of your heads:
“Is someone there? Oh my goodness, we’ve been stuck here for days and this beast snatched us up. Could you free us?”
