Changing tactics, Keys starts surreptitiously and quietly asks some of the patrons and workers (who are on break) where he could find some black market Calendula Laetate. Noting he had heard rumors about a theft of the herb and he was hoping to procure some to flip for a profit as demand for it increases in town.
None of the ones that Keys ask known of what he is talking about. None have heard of a stealing or even know about the plant. Seems like a dead end.
When they are about to leave the noisy casino, Mezrin recognises one of the twins companions that enters the building, greet some of the patrons and sits at one of the Mahjthong's tables and start playing.
The rest of the three players puts their money op front as Merzin does, and every one of them put a stone of their color in the table, forming a square between the four.
Then they all bet, not more money but the number of fingers that it will come out, adding the total of the fingers that every player will show at the count of three...
"12!" says a men that looks like a bull
" 5!" says a young man, Mezrin thinks that he could have just fourteen or fifteen years.
"7!" says a dwarven woman
They all look at Mezrin for him to say his bet.
( Do it and roll a d20 please, the closest number goes first)
Mezrin literally wipes the others out of the game with a couple of stones left. The dealer raises an eyebrown as he pass the pot to him.
"Next round " he says the man who looks like a bull, the one who was one of the twins companions puts his coins at the table, still looking at the previous game as if he was trying to discover some hidden significance on it.
The young one stands, and no one sits back on the table, so the dealer takes his stones and gets ready to play so the game can go on.
The next game is even faster than the previous one.
The dwarf fails to put more than two pieces before beign cut by the dealer. The bull-man tries to keep up but he cannot follow the fast and clever movements of both Mezrin and the dealer. And the end Mezrin makes a mistake and the dealer raises an eyebrow while putting the last piece that cuts the halfling's path and wins the game.
- Bah! -says the twin's thug - tonight everything is going down. I will call it a night bye Xandra -he says to the dealer and stands up and heads towards the exit.
''Hmm, there goes my winning streak, better not try my luck any more than that.'' Merzin follows the thug, staying next to people that are taller than him to blend into the crowd.

With that the game starts and the man puts his first piece trying to block the teenager advance.

''Of course.'' Merzin realizes that he should probably try to lose this round, as to not drive the twin's companion out of the game.
