" So. Do we have an agreement?" he extends his right hand towards Vox, for she was the first one to talk to him.
"... I know someone well suited to the work you need done, his services are included in the price, don't worry, but I wanted to be upfront with you, should you meet him, he's a middle-aged human male, graying at the temples, but very dashing, he goes by the name "Keys" ..."
From Post 161 which I believe Carrick, Marzira and a few others were present for based on previous reactions.
Keys responds to Carrick, "Young man, I'm pretty sure I just said she and I tend to trade jobs and favors. Regarding whether or not she told you directly about my presence in this city, she assured me that she advised the employer, a Mr. Thrindertop Karrasthinlek, that I'd likely be stepping in. She mentioned that a few of you were there during the negotiations, so if you weren't paying attention, that's your concern not mine."
Keys takes another puff of pipe before addressing Leto, "I doubt that she will and I don't ask where she goes. Trust her enough to afford her her privacy."
"So, Vox gave me the basic rundown - I'm thinking we hit the street and pump it for information. You'd be surprised how much the local urchin knows about a city's underbelly if you pay them right."
"Barkeep - give that man an ale - I'll cover it. Best way to cure a hangover is to have another drink."
He pauses for a bit before bringing up his previous suggestion regarding pounding the pavement to find what the streets have to say about these brothers they need to track down.
The innkeeper brings them persoanlly any beverage and food they ask for.
They noticed that the beer is slighty better, or at lest really well served. Is not that it was bad or careless served before, it's just now it's done with real care. The plates are filled almost to the top.
Keys gets up and says, "I'm off to ask questions. I'll be back at sundown. Leave a note if any of you are going to that tournament Vox told me about."
Keys will spend the next couple of hours asking the urchins and beggars and some of the merchants what they know of the Trenther Brothers and their burgeoning organization.
As Keys gets up to leave Leto says "I'll join. No point just sitting here."
While out asking around for the herbs he'd be listening in to see if people are being truthful, and would occasionally send Hulud (still currently in Raven form on his shoulder) to fly up and look around to see if anyone is watching them.

Or the form that he's currently in? I rolled using the raven form above, that seems to make the most sense, but just wanted to be clear.))
You spent the next hours walking the streets and asking around. The attack seems to have lessened the mood and, even if there is still a lot of people in the streets they are more focused on doing their bussines than talk and chitchat.
Please make an Investigation roll Keys, with help thanks to Leto. Leto is absolutely amazed of how thruthful and honest are the people around this town. ;)

Anything do you want to do while the others are out or we just fastforward to the fighting contest? The flyer and the boy who gave it to you said "at sunsdown" but you doubt it will be starting just when the suns goes down.

Having heard about a fighting tournament, Merzin will stay at the inn until about two hours before sundown, then he will make his way to where the tournament is going to be, hoping to be able to gather some information before it starts.
Marzira awkwardly smiles at Carrick when he turns Keys down on his offer. "Did you just pass on a free drink? Who are you and what have you done with Carrick?" "Was that a joke? Who are you and what have you done with Marzira?" Carrick replies. "Well, I suppose that we should get going too. Can't let Keys, Vox, and Leto do all the work."The duo gets up and heads out to investigate.
A few hours later:
Carrick and Marzira show up outside of the Three Sided Dice, ready to meet up with Keys and Leto. "Well, that was productive. Did you two find anything at least?"

"Oh a tournament! That sounds lovely! Do you know if its possible to enter the tournament?" Eljor steps up with excitement. Seemingly eager to get out into the world.
''I don't know the details, but I know the tournament takes place at the Crawhammer's mill. I was going to go early to get some more information, we could go together.'' Merzin says to Eljor.
Eljor looks at Merzin with a big grin, "I would love to go. I'm sure there is wine there to drink so let us be off!" Without missing a step, Eljor is up out of his chair, a silver on the table and already walking for the door.

The pesquises of the party brings to them more or less the same information once they gather again and compare notes.
The twin brothers are known as petty thieves, bullying and general trouble makers, but nothing too much dangerous. They consider them more than a nuissance than a problem, and even a pair of guards that overhead one of your conversations with a street merchant laughs at the prospect of someone even looking for those good for nothing.
But the hour of the fighting contest is approaching and you all converge together and walk towards the mill.
The mood in the city has been recovering as time since the attack were running and, despite the cold that brings the night, the Craghammer's mill whereabouts are quite popular.
The actual mill is a big structure and it seems that only part of it is dedicated to milling, at least tonight. The big double doors are open and people walks in and out without any kind of control. You look inside and you see that these part of the building, normally destined to the sacks of grain, has been prepared to host tonight's event.
In the center of the barn there is a wooden square stage, elevated about 3 feet, with four poles in each corner. Two sets of ropes hang from pole to pole to close the stage entierly, but to allow everyone to see what's going on inside.
And inside there are two men circling around each other and throwing punches to each other. It seems that they have been at this for quite a while for both of them has their faces covered in blood and bruises. One of them has one eye completely closed but they still have fight on them and continue fighting with the cheers and boos from the small crowd that is looking at it.
To one side of the stage there is a table with one woman sat on it with parchment and a quill and a man to her side, standing taking wages and liven people to come closer to the table. Some do and talk to the woman, pay some coins and she takes her names on a list.
To the opposite side of the entrance, the party can see that there is an improvised bar where people are getting drinks.
From the ceiling hangs ropes, chains and hooks, the usual tools one should expect in a mill's barn, but tonight they are just witnesses of the contest.
Carrick and Marzira walk up to the woman and man who are taking names. "I'm Carrick and this is Marzira. We're here to enter the fights. So what are the rules to this thing? Weapons? No weapons? Tag-team bouts? One-on-One? Just trying to know what kind of fight this is. Not like it matters, we're gonna win anyway."
