OU812: "Sorry, gang. You all just looked so famished, I thought I'd do a nice thing and feed you. Guess not." He visibly turns a shade of deep red....WTF, can warforged actually blush?
Alessandra had stepped away from the others to go about and wash her face (after thanking Grianne for the berry and plopping it in her mouth), trying to wake herself up from this awful nightmare. She peers over the woodland animals, finding it peculiar that such... Normal animals would live deep underground, then again... This place wasn't normal in any sense of the word. The aasimar reads the sign again before seeing OU812 go and easily slaughter one of the blind fish, a frown crossing her face as soon as she feels the forest slowly becoming more unwelcoming to their presence. Luckily, Grianne beat her to stressing why what the warforged had done was wrong to him, hoping that he would leave it at that as Aless then goes and smothers out the fire.
"It's okay, OU812," Alessandra says softly. "Grianne had offered us some berries prior, they'll keep us full for the rest of the day." She offers him a small smile before walking with the others, walking beside Evrik, giving him a nod in acknowledgement. "Was it... Your father that had brought us back then?" She inquires. "I heard some man's voice while I was..." Her lips thin as she tries to find the right word for it, but just continues on. "Anyways... As for the other party... I don't think we can fight them again, not now anyways, especially since we've lost a lot of us already, I don't want that to happen to us a second time..."
Are you caring again?
Alessandra hears his whisper, turning back with a furrowed brow expecting to see his shadow looming about as he did, but didn't see a thing. She grumbles at seemingly nothing to the others. "... Anything on those tracks, Grianne?"

Something is not quite right with this place. While you look down and observe the tracks, clearly, you can tell, they are indeed made my a single humanoid of elven origin, by the size of the foot. That's not what gets to you. Finding out information about the track was easy, but when you look up, it's not quite right. The sun is up, you can feel it's warmth on your skin, there are animals everywhere, and even moving clouds.
Its calm Grianne says as she examines the tracks. why is the wind calm? .....Yes these are elf tracks, but this place makes me feel wrong. I dont think this forest was made by my mother.

She hadn't really been paying attention to the wind until the elf had pointed it out, Alessandra's eyes narrowing. "I agree, let's move out of this place. Keep your wits about you." The aasimar now assumes lead, taking one more scan over the grave sight before turning and heading in the direction of 2B.

The trees in this part of the forest are shrouded with thick webs, and dead animals wrapped in silken cocoons hang from the boughs. It is clear that something lives in here. This area of the forest appears to be some sort of feeding ground for..something. In this area of the forest, there is no squeaking or chirping on insects, and added to the fact there is no breeze - very forboding.

OU812's spider senses are tingling (Perception: 18).
As they walk, OU812 will follow directly behind Alessandra, ready to Dodge, but without his weapon drawn. He's learned his lesson to pay heed to that stupid sign earlier about not harming anything. He even manages to tip-toe, lest he squish an errant beetle walking across the forest floor.
"... If we're attacked, can we defend ourselves?" Ra'iik asks. "Or will that too upset the spirit of this forest? Perhaps we're better off finding another way around, Aless?" He asks. He readies the dodge action, thinking evasion may be the play here.
“I’m not too sure,” Aless says, looking at the cocoons as she stops in her tracks, taking a moment to think. “But... I agree. Let’s avoid this area. I don’t want to find out what happens if we’re in need to defend ourselves.” She starts for area 2c, hoping she was making the correct decision.

Your journey so far has taken you along the green path. As you approach AREA 2C, you can see a very large bear scavenging for food. It looks up from what it was doing, stares at you for a few moments, and slowly approaches you.
Evrik keeps his head on a swivel as he moves with the rest of the group. "I think I've read something about similar cocoons," Evrik adds as they walk through. He thinks back on an ancient tome that he encountered during his studies with the priest. (Arcana: 24)
The cocoons appear to be made by very large spiders, saving them for a meal. It's a good thing you avoided them. Who knows what this forest is home to, with this nature unchecked. The bear approaches OU812 and sniffs it's hand. It appears to be looking for food, and, at the moment, is not spooked or angered at your presence.

The bear gladly accepts the food, and quietly, happily, and nonviolently starts following you around. The bear is extremely friendly and frequently nudges Grianne for more food.
