"We'll figure out a way to put you both to rest so that you won't be stuck here all alone anymore." Roselina had said back to Rose, glad that the two guys were no longer possessed. She was thinking, looking at the remains of the children as she thought of something. "With how there's a basement and the fact that they are rich, they may have a crypt here. It might be a good idea to take those with us to the basement if there is a crypt down there to place them in there." she then told the Vrakvroth and Jinhazar, pointing out the remains. Of course she expected one of them to store/carry the remains as she would never touch dirty and disgusting bones like that.
The stairs that spiral down from the room opposite seem to go to a part of the house that isn't shown in the model. The stairs definitely continue below the level of the basement, but there is no clue as to what is down there.
"I only know what the house shows. Mother and father kept us locked in here our whole lives, to protect us from the monster in the basement," Roselina replies.
Roselina heard Vrakvroth question if the dollhouse shows that there is a crypt here, looking at it herself. She saw the stairs going down below the basement, no clue what is down there but figured that it would be there more than likely. She had heard Rose, nodding back. "Let's take those stairs down past the basement, that is surely where we will find the monster and hopefully a place to put these children to rest." Roselina had said to Vrakvroth and Jinhazar as she took the lead out of there and to the room with the stairs going down below the basement.
The wooden staircase spirals and spirals, deeper and deeper. You feel that you are deeper than the house basement you visited when you first entered the house, and the staircase continues ever downwards. As you start to think there will be no end, the staircase comes to an end. From about ten steps away from the bottom, you start hearing incessant chanting. You can't work out due to the amount of echoes, and it seems to be coming from everywhere at the same time. The echoes are so distorted that you can't make out the words from your current position. There is a corridor that heads to the south 15 feet before branching to the east and the west. The corridor goes to the east ten feet, with a corridor leading southward and a north bound corridor going ten feet before hitting a small staircase going down.
The corridor to the west has a chamber on the south wall after 15 feet, and an opposite chamber on the northern wall. The end of the corridor is another open room.
((OOC: So, a few options here to go with, will let you guys choose which way - also GOOD NEWS: You guys are now Level 2))
Roselina lead the way down the stairs, only to hear the chanting and was annoyed by it. She saw all the different ways that they could go before noticing that Vrakvroth went to the west corridor, following behind him to the open room.
Heading to the the corridor, you pass two more alcoves to the westernmost exit of the corridor you find yourselves in. A plain wooden table flanked with long benches fill the middle of the room. Lying strewn in the dirt are moldy bones. In the middle of the southern wall, there is a darkened alcove, and another exit to the north of the room, and the west of the room.
Examining the alcove, Vrakroth notices movement just in time as a creature slithers on its stomach out of the shadows and unfolds its four tentacles that surround it's beaked mouth, poised to attack.

As the Grick strikes out, Jinhazar quickly raises his hands to cast a spell.

The creature is able to dodge out of the way of the flames that are called down by Jinhazar and have no effect.
Quickly repsonding to the creature as Vrakvroth saw, before it gets a chance to strike, he swings down his longsword, cutting into the snake-like body of this creature as it cries out an inhuman noise.
The Grick then lashes back out towards Vrakroth.
16
The tentacles that surround this creature's mouth attempt to smash through Vrakvroth's armor, and he can still feel the weight behind the attack, but his armor has kept him safe this time.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Roselina had followed Vrakvroth, looking about the room and not seeing any indication of a crypt or resting place here. She spotted him checking out the alcove, only to now see the grotesque creature slither out and going to attack. She thought about what to do, hoping that this might work on the creature. "Go back to the shadows, you disgusting excuse of a flithy creature!" she yelled at it, casting Vicious Mockery.
WIS Save: 14 and if fail, psychic damage and has disadvantage on next attack roll
(OOC: Yeah im all good. I assume Im starting the next round. ) Jinhazar muttering again to himself, raises his staff and points it towards the Grick. The eyes on his staff glow and a beam of ice shoots out as he casts Ray of Frost

As Jinhazar shoots out the ice beam, the grick squeals out as it gets hit. The grick, with the icicles dangling off the tentacles from the ray of frost is looking hurt.
Vrakvroth takes another swing with his blade, and though the damage seems to be not as effective as usual, but some damage did go through as it struck the grick.
The grick then responds and tries to attack Vrakvroth with its tentacles.
Attack: 2122
This time, the tentacles make contact with Vrakvroth, dealing 8 slashing damage before following up with an attack from it's beak.
Attack: 9
After the tentacles make contact with Vrakroth, it follows up it's attack with it's beak, but the Vakvroth is able to deflect the beak, not letting it pierce his armor.

A look of relief washes over Vrak's face and suddenly his fierce countenance returns.
"For a bit there I think I felt what fear must feel like. A strange and unwelcome feeling to be sure. I pray it does not return."
Looking at the children, "Please do not do that again."
He then looks at Roselina "Does the dollhouse show a crypt?" Vrak looks at the dollhouse again to see if he sees what might be a crypt.

Vrak takes a moment to center himself and call on the aid of Bahamut. Then he heads down the stairway feeling the strength of his god fill him.
At the bottom of the steps he turns to follow the corridor to the west and leads the party to the open room at the end of the corridor.
