Ophirinn, you take some time to investigate the cave. You don't find any sign of Gundren Rockseeker. You do notice that all the crates and barrels in the far area bear the same mark, a blue lion. You also find a small wooden chest, tucked into one of the darker corners of the cave.
Nate pockets the coins, will split up everything once we are out of here. He then sits on the ground and waits for the others to continue with their searches and the tying up of the goblin to see what might be next.
Nate is complaining a bit about his wounds.
"Do you guys want to rest here or should we just get out of here first?"
"Let's give the place a once over then head to the alcove where the dogs were and rest there" Brom went towards the crates would check them if they are nailed closed he'll just pull it off.
Guessing investagation to look through the crates: 6
Strength to muscle open any creates that need it: 13
(OOC: I would suggest that you nominate one person to be responsible for dividing up the money and other loot each time, so that you remember to do it. It can be easy to forget in PbP!)
Nate, Sildar responds weakly: Rest, definitely. I'm not sure how far I'll make it without rest. He looks around. Is there truly no sign of Gundren? He sounds miserable.
Brom, you don't really notice much about the crates other than they all have this blue lion symbol on them. You open a crate, and find it's full of rather cheap-looking cloth. Another crate is full of farming implements, nothing of much value or of any use to you.
OOC: I am happy to keep track of the loot! Starting with the coins that the 2 goblins had. We might've gotten something earlier too...
Nate will wait for Omnia to check Klarg as she got the kill as well so she can tie up that goblin.
"That sounds like a great plan, Brom. Also - thank you for saving me in that battle. Thank all of you. I was almost done for. Sildar let us finish checking out this room and then we can go to a place in this cave and rest. We might find more info about Gundren on that Bugbear."
(OOC: Where is Ophirinn from. His backstory doesn't specify a part of the world. Is this something you've worked out with your first DM? If not, would you like to choose somewhere?)
As far as Ophirinn can tell there's nothing dangerous about the wooden chest, and it's not trapped.
Nate is going to check Klarg's body (just to save time) - but Omnia or someone else will need to tie up the goblin as Nate used his rope to tie up those oxen earlier :) Unless he's going to wake up soon?!
(OOC: Sounds good. So somewhere north-east of Mirabar)
Ophirinn, you do recognise the symbol as belong to Lionshield Coster, a trading group that operates across the territories of the Lord's Alliance, which includes Neverwinter and Mirabar. They have a reputation for being honourable and reliable.
Opening the wooden chest, you find: 600 copper pieces, 110 silver pieces, two potion of healing, and a jade statuette of a frog with tiny golden orbs for eyes (40 gp)
Ophirinn turns to the group, "I believe the goblins must have ambushed a cart belonging to the Lionshield Coster, from the look of the symbols on the creates." Ophirinn then walks up to Nate and hands him the box, "You're in charge for distributing this, though I believe it best that the more frail members of the group get the potions."
OOC: I went back in the thread from when we fought the first group of goblins outside of the cave to make sure we have everything marked down. We will split it all up once we get out of this cave (or maybe keep it going depending on what happens with the story!). Here's what I've got so far.
2 Klarg goblins = 7 silver pieces and 31 copper pieces Klarg = ? don't know yet Chest = 600 copper pieces, 110 silver pieces, two potion of healing, and a jade statuette of a frog with tiny golden orbs for eyes (40 gp) Omnia, you find ten silver pieces on Yeemik; the other goblins have nothing. Brom, you find enough food to form four sets of rations, as well as an additional 7 silver pieces that presumably belonged to the goblin. The goblin has a small iron key, as well as 11 silver pieces and 16 copper pieces. Brom, you find 23 copper pieces and 16 silver pieces on the two goblins, but nothing else of any interest.
This should be everything since that time Nate split up the other coins we got and gave them out to each, before Omnia came back.
Also you guys were keeping track of HP yes? I'm not sure if I'm supposed to say, but I was 1 HP away from death at one point. Brom you must've been down there as well I saw a few big numbers when I went back. That was crazy
(OOC: There were two of you down to 1HP at one point, yes. And you can talk about how many HP you're on, but best to keep it in (OOC). Note that you cannot just convert the jade statuette into its 40 gold value - you need actually to find a buyer.).

"Ugghhh.... Agreed. Omnia do you still have your rope?" Nate mutters as he slowly looks himself over to see the extent of his wounds.
Nate will then go check out the 2 dead goblin corpses.
Nate, on the two dead goblins you find a total of 7 silver pieces and 31 copper pieces.

Omnia will check over klarg to see if there is anything of use on the bugbear
Investigation: 7
Omnia - Human Rogue Female (2) - LMoP
DM - The Pursuit of Knowledge - One Shot
Scratch that!
To DM - I never really worked it out with the previous DM, near The Spine of the World I guess.
Ophirinn opens the box to see what is inside.

OOC: Jackpot! I'm keeping track of everything
"Yes, understood" Nate says to Ophirinn in an almost worshiping manor.
OOC: I seemed to have hijacked Ophirinn's speech color so I'll change Nate's to Green going forward.

OCC: Roger that, thanks
DM did we see what Klarg had after Omnia checked him?
