Arc would sit near the front of the wagon, and open up a journal, silently drawing and writing down a number of things. He rubbed his head at moments when the hangover seemed stronger, but for the most part seemed fine.
Brandt woke up, wished Colette a good morning and if she had to go get ready for the day, he would also say an actual goodbye to her. Then he ate the best breakfast that the Velvet Glove had to offer and left the Velvet Glove, hopefully not for the last time. You better keep your end of the deal, Mendraxes. If she's asking where that gun is when I get back, I'm kicking your ass. And if she's hurt, I'll ******* kill you.
He heads over to the rest of the party and gets in the wagon. Brandt remains completely focused on his surroundings during the entire trip.

Njalgas gave Tarian a wink, and nodded his head to his driver's seat. it took her a second, before she noticed the hidden catch, that would release the strongbox with their money inside. "Sparks' 's got us covered. An' as fer the route, as far 's I was briefed, we're to conduct a survey of these 'ere lands, up to Wroat, an' we're to relay any special events usin' the telelith. Don' quite knoe what "special events" Sparks meant, but I guess that's their specialty." At that last part, he pointed to the wagon, indicating the people in the back.
As the party settles in, and Tarian takes her seat up front, Njalgas is finishing his final preparations, before the wagon slowly starts to roll out onto the Silver Straight, following the long shadows cast by the rising sun.

Arc sighs and hops out, of the wagon "No need. I can fix this in 5 minutes." Arc stretches out his neck as he removes the glove on his right hand again, and touches the cart. His Mark glows slightly as he focuses on reversing and mending the damage to the cart, as well as reinforcing the axle so it's more stable and less likely to bust again.
(OoC: Mechanics, Mark Powered Mending. If need be, Arc can summon his turret under the cart to lift it up for him to adjust.)
Corti climbs out of the wagon after Arc, but goes over to the children. To get them out of Arc's way as he mends, she casts Minor Illusion to create the image of a small flame in the shape of a dragon in her palm, and tells them an old children's poem about a dragon and a little boy.
OOC: Corti, please give me a performance roll, added to your post. Arc, the cart's axle is a bit much for a mending spell, give me an arcana check to see whether you can channel enough energy to do so (Add your d 4 and your Int modifier to a d20 roll, you're looking to beat a DC of 12)
As Corti produces a flame from her palm, two of the adults widen their eyes in amazement, and quickly touch their foreheads in a revering gesture. Meanwhile, the older man among the adults helps Arc place his turret below the cart and getting the axle ready to be mended.

These... miracles, what curious ways the Silver Flame has to show itself to its followers. We thank you sincerely. One last question however, can you let us know where to find members of Duskrock's church?"

Corti, you recall that Thrane enjoys a strong following of a religious cult believing in the sacred, or silver, flame. It had been utilised by their old nation to distinguish themselves from the less pious imperial provinces before the war, and while religion further declined, it seems that the cult has grown in Thrane to become one of the dominant beliefs in their society. As to its central beliefs, it values information and knowledge, and sees creatures of the underdark as evil- They are some of the worst offenders when it comes to prejudice against drow.

Corti would straighten after finishing the story for the kids, leaving the flame hanging a short distance above the ground near them. She walks over to the wagon and taps Thia's shoulder. Speaking in a low tone, she says, "The church Alexis is set up in, would that have any ties to these folk? They're from a cult in Thrane."
Edit: When Corti realizes her interruption, she apologizes and takes a step back, letting Thia answer Brandt.
Thia had fallen asleep on the wagon ride from staying up all night. She was just barely snoring when Brandt would speak to her, it wouldn’t rouse her awake but it’d cause her to respond in her sleep, “Shh... they’re looking...” Then feeling Corti’s hand, the artificer would jerk awake.
Her eyes would be wide, then she’d rub her face to wake herself up. “My apologies. I stayed up too late after a long day...” Thia would put on the most reassuring smile she could to Brandt while rubbing the sleep out of her eyes. A yawn would soon follow.
Thia would look to Corti. “The Veiled Valour?” She thought she heard her mention Alexis and church. “Thechurch used to be of the Silver Flame.”
Thia would finally look over to notice the people Corti was referring too. “Who are they?”
Corti starts at Thia's sleep talk and takes a quick, nervous glance back at the travelers. "I'm sorry for waking you! They're cultists of the Silver Flame from Thrane. Some of them can be pretty extremist. They wanted to know if we knew any church members. Is it okay if I tell them about the Veiled Valor's church? I don't know of any other connection."

Am I so on edge that I'm jumping to defenses now? The artificer would glance over to Tarian knowing she still owes her an apology for her childish act last night. She'd look back to Corti trying not to give off her concern, "I... well..." Thia will rub at her face again to wake herself up some more. "I'll go see what they have to say." and she'll hop out of the cart and give Corti a nod of thanks for coming to wake her up before approaching the cultists of the Silver Flame.
"Hello. My companion mentioned that you are of the Silver Flame and are looking for members of the Duskrock church. What can I assist you with?" Thia was polite, putting on the cheeriest smile she could in greeting.
