Thia would feel some relief wash over her knowing she has Corti's support and help with this. She'd look to Corti with an encouraging smile, "You have strong analytical skills. I know you have lots to offer. Thank you." Deep down her intuition felt like she'd need all the help she could get.Too bad Tarian left so soon. Bouncing ideas off of her would be great too.
Thia would take a good look back to Alexis, "And how are you feeling? Wilfred? Are either of you showing symptoms as well? What are your theories and what have you made of them thus far?" Knowing she's asking so many questions when the woman in front of her is clearly tired, "Do you need somewhere to rest even for a moment?" Thia would look her over for any signs of malaise outside of exhaustion. Depending on the nature and developments of this outbreak, I may already have the texts I need in my dorm... I may be able to save time by not having to go to the library...

"None taken. You're right, when it comes to infections and diseases... I don't have much on hand." Thia would grab her waterskin from her hip and offer it to Alexis to drink. Reassured, Alexis accepts the package and heads back off in the direction of their hospial. Thia quickly stepped through the archway and into her building, almost running up the flight of stairs and entering her dorm. She wasn’t used to spend such long stretches away from it, and had to remind herself to take enough supplies for a couple of days, just in case she’d stay out again as a result of recent events. After a couple of minutes, she packs up her library books and stows them in her bags, all the while having Corti help her with packing and trying to be supportive to her clearly distraught friend.
After at most forty minutes, Thia is standing outside of her dorm again, ready to head to the library and try to get the books Alexis asked her for. She had also made sure to pack most of her flasks, mortars and other equipment that could serve them for further analysis. After a brief stroll through the mostly large and clean Uptown streets, she got to the library.

Passing through the huge doors to the library, Corti was struck by the musty scent of thousands of books, and the light shining forth from the main hall, cast by hundreds of oil lamps that kept the gigantic bookshelves illuminated. Thia smiled, happy at the thought of such stores of arcana at her finger tips. Though now, the smile faded quickly, replaced by an expression of determination, as she had to try and find the right books amongst millions of volumes. The task filled her with a sense of awe and made her think of the numerous generations of scholars in this very place before her, and a hope that she could learn the right things from them.
With a soft clocking sound from Corti's feet on the polished marble floors, the librarian at the entry desk lifted his head up from an old manuscript: "Oh, Thia, hello there. Thia would nibble her lip a little as Thaddeus mulls over her habits of 'reading beyond' her education texts. She switches to an encouraging smile, nodding along with the scholar as he continues to think aloud. As he thumbs through the large ledger, rhyming off and jotting down some of the texts and their sections, Thia would look up and around the room to pin point the sections of the library so she could begin mapping out their route in her head for collection. Her attention would peak when she hears him reference the Kalashtari, That may be the one Alexis referred to specifically... Definitely won't miss that one. As Thaddeus nears the end of his list, Thia would attempt some small talk, "Sir, would you happen to have been familiar with a fellow student, my neighbour Leo? I noticed the other day that his name is no longer on the door next door. The last time I saw him he encouraged me to come to the library. It's made me curious if he frequented the library like myself."
As Thaddeus wrapped up the last of the list and hands her the slips, she'd take them from him, holding them close. "I always appreciate your time and suggestions Thaddeus." Thia would bow her head in respect to the old scholar. She'd turn to leave and meet eyes with Corti, but as if remembering something, she'd then turn back to face Thaddeus and lean over the counter to speak in a hushed tone so that Corti couldn't hear, "Corti is actually an avid lute player, she's very dexterous with her fingers. I was wondering if there's a music text you could suggest, maybe a personal favourite if you have one? I think I'd like to introduce her to something from this great library and I imagine you might know just the thing." Thia's eyes would light up with the thought of gifting Corti with a text related to her craft.
"Leo? Leopold Mithrak? Or do you mean Léo Éndiwel? Or Leo Upryamstevan? Maybe if you could tell me what they studied, or what they looked like...? Mithrak I didn't really see much, the few times he was here, the young dwarf was intent on angering the stuff by falling asleep and snoring obnoxiously after passing long and wet nights in the nearest bars. I know that Léo Éndiwel was a half-elf student of mostly alchemy and the arcane arts, and Leo Upryamstevan was a gnome I believe. Don't know what he studied though, he seemed to change his area of study frequently, dabbling in alchemy, history, and languages, if I recall. Might have been a future bard from the Lord Colleges thoug, come to think of it..." Thaddeus trailed off, before recalling Thia's other question.
"Ah, bardic texts... well, we have several chronicles in rhyme, telling of the continent and the empire before, or telling of the war, we have great religious hymns that have survived and tell of songs and practices of worship back under the olden days of the empire, and there are of course the modern compositions of the most gifted of students, as well as the occasional master-pieces by the teaching and residing professors. I'm by no means a specialist, but I saw a recent addition by an anonymous bard going by Reichenplatz. it's an in depth study of the burgeoning slammer culture in the Forge, and well worth a good read if you have the time. Though, then again, if you have the time, you should just try and watch a live performance instead..."

As Thaddeus rhymed off different students, she couldn't help but start to chuckle a little. Of course he'd know a lot of different Leo's. He needs specifics Thia. She'd let him continue, standing there with her polite smile. She actually quite enjoyed listening to Thaddeus ramble on. In a way, she found it charming. A little quirk she liked amongst most scholar types, believing it gives insight to how someone thinks.
As the old scholar chatted on about bardic texts and the word 'slammer' crossed his lips, suddenly Thia's eyes would go wide. It was like a light bulb went off. "Leonid Tetuski! He was a Zhivarg student from the Bard's College. A red headed gnome..." She'd just blurt out before covering her mouth, feeling a little rude for the outburst. He taught juniors and was a slammer! Holy shit I remember! She'd take her hand off her mouth. "My apologies. His name escaped my lips for a moment, but your words just jogged my memory." She'd smile a little sheepishly. "And I'd love to check out your suggestion of this anonymous bard Reichenplatz. Both his text and his live performance."
