"Hmm," Abraxas says. "Are these illusions?" He investigates the room for arcane influences from just outside it: 25
"But, Aisha does look weak. Was a trap triggered?" He starts to look in a bag. "I don't have a rope, but we could throw him one. Or this!" Abraxas will attempt to use Mage Hand to help Aisha out of her backpack.
The very nature of the shadows being created on all four sides of Aisha, and now no longer being there despite Aisha still being front and center in the room confirms to Abraxas that the room has magic about it, likely involving whatever source is causing the light.
Whatever they were, the shadows were no illusion; Aisha is definitely struggling to move with the equipment she carried with no problem just a moment ago. Using his spectral hand, Abraxas helps pull the straps of her bag off of her shoulders.
Aisha is free'd from her pack, Dropping everything but her Bow and Quivers (and clearly not her armor... right now at-least) and staying low to the ground as she crawls, prone, whether by intention or inability to stand, would cast "Cure Wounds" as a level 2 spell on Tsavi for the previous roll if allowed. if not, reroll. Aisha crawls next to Tsavi protectively, her limbs quivering from the effort to get her arm around her .. friend.
What .. the hell was that... she manages to get out a whisper..... perhaps this has something to do with the mages they seek? but she's too tired to think, moving is exhausting...
If she is able to move, and 'combat' is over, Aisha will attempt to drag Tsavi out of the room, staying low to the ground (Athl? 11)
If she is unable to move Tsavi, or didn't pass her check, Aisha will say to Abraxus Stay out of the room.... but try to pull us out.... Rope ... Get Tsavi out first... Please...
Regardless of anything, Aisha's only goal is to get out of the room before whatever those things were come back...... if they were going to at all. While Aisha was concerned about her stuff.... She cared far more for her friend, and then her own, life. She could try to get it back later....
Aisha tried to think if she had ever heard anything about such creatures... 14 and if so, she would tell the group.
Jove casts dancing lights to better illuminate the room? He wants to see if the shadows come back from movement or something. I don't really know what he expects to happen, more or less brute forcing the puzzle. He causes the dancing lights to move to the center and then about the room, following any shadows that may appear and trying to intercept them with the orbs.
OOC: Aisha and T'savi are both able to move normally now (as long as Aisha is not overburned by her gear). We are out of combat.
Free from the shackles of much of her gear, Aisha sends healing coursing through the body of her panther. T'savi stands straighter afterward, but still looks in rough shape, her head drooping toward the floor and her legs wobbly. The ranger has never heard of these creatures, whatever they are/were. Possibly some type of undead?
Jove directs four small lights hover to the center of the room. They provide no additional light, but do cast shadows throughout the room; despite a possible fear that arises due to this, these shadows stay in place on the wall.
Scouring the floor, Abraxas finds no markings or etchings, just plain natural stone. However, turning to the door, he discovers arcane glyphs along the inside frame of the door. They are faded, as a trap that has been activated would be.
Tracking: The narrow hallway outside of this room has a door to the north and two doors to the south. The corridor across from the room has two doors that lead to the room where you found the notes on tables, and one door that leads to the room where you spotted goblins from afar. The corridor across from the room connects with an additional narrow hallway that returns to the entrance.
Jove goes to help Aisha with some of her gear, taking what small things he can. He also pets T'savi if the cat allows it. "You know, we aren't that far from the entrance. Perhaps we can come back tomorrow after we recuperate? I don't think we would reactivate any traps. Perhaps our simple map is actually good enough for the guard and he can come do it himself."
Aisha sat, enervated, on the ground. Appreciative that Jove had gathered her things, but her breathing was labored, as though just existing itself was hard to maintain. Aisha's limbs shook like an addict and her eyes were duller, in the fashion of someone who hadn't slept for days. Aisha.... is n....Nyot sure..... that.. would .. help... this .. one, does nyot know..... though.... every word or so, accentuated with a gasping breath But .. if the gob..... The gob.... She leaned a bit more.... if they took money frrrom... us... today..... they will... surely ask for more... if we leave.... and .... it is .... this cat's own... curiosity, that nearly ... killed her....
Tsavi didn't seem to react to the petting, though unlike her mistress, she was standing, albeit wobbly so. Anyone could tell the Panther viewed them as at least non-hostiles, and would likely not attack unless provoked or commanded to. She offers a very threatening growl into the room, that tapers off into a mewl. The cat, waiting until Jove was done before sauntering to her mistress, and rubbing her hear against her shoulder affectionately. Both looking glad the other was alive, if haggered.
So... let us press on.... This one will be ... fine. With that, she takes her bow, and attempts to draw the string... testing if she still had the strength needed to do that much. 7
Harmony was so glad as those shadows had disappeared, Aisha and Tsavi okay but so weakened. "I'll carry the bigger stuff. That might be a good idea." she said back, taking all the stuff that Jove didn't take while agreeing with him. With how bad of a shape Aisha and Tsavi are in, it would too dangerous to keep going on. But she was surprised when Aisha said that they should press on, how the goblins may charge them more gold if they leave and come back, how it was her fault that she almost got killed. "Are you sure? We don't want to lose a friend. But if you want to go on, we'll make sure to protect you and help you out. Stay close behind us. Here, drink this." Harmony had said back to Aisha, handing her a Healing Potion to drink as she smiled gently and was trying to reassure her.
Aisha finds that she still has the strength needed to fire a bow, and her eyesight hasn't been affected by her sudden loss of strength.

The corridor across from the room has two doors that lead to the room where you found the notes on tables, and one door that leads to the room where you spotted goblins from afar. OOC: Assuming Aisha is accepting the potion of healing, and it has been moved to her inventory. Please let me know if that is not the case.
(Will post when i can, but Aisha would accept the potion if forced to but she wouldn't drink it, She would instead cast Cure wounds on herself at level 1, for 5. I'll post the 'flavor' for that in a bit, starving..)
Jove continues concentrating on the dancing lights, keeping one near Olive, and the other three 'scouting' ahead, looking at floors, walls, ceilings, and doors to check for similar runes on this door, so we don't find any traps. I'll take guidance on the next door to be explored and follow suit with my lights.
Warmth enters Aisha as she cures some of the internal wounds sustained by the shadows. One of Jove's lights remains centered on Aisha as the other three swirl out of the room, ready to lead the way.

If harmony doesn't take the potion back, or otherwise insists Aisha keep it, she will strap it to her belt, otherwise, handing it back. Feelign her own healing wash over herself. It is fine.. Harmony... But there is no rreason to waste such an expensive item on a silly kitten like this one. When she can heal herself, at the cost of a long nap~ Brushing off her fur that was exposed, and the armor otherwise. Standing up, she follows the group northward from the back.
Then as Olive apologizes, Aisha shakes hr head slowly 'no' It happens. And my partner... seemed to have just as much trouble as you... Aisha doesn't believe they can be hit normally.... she would say, drawing her bow, now more wary of the formerly innocuous place. Aisha will hand back here... Tsavi.. stay in the middle.. I won't rrisk losing you...
Aisha and Tsavi Stealth 16 - 17
And both ready the Dodge action if they perceive any enemies Both relying on passive for now.
Abraxas will carry some of Aisha's equipment as well. "North works, I suppose," he says, "if Aisha wants to continue." Even as he says this, he assumes she will ands steps in that direction. He will continue to mark the walls and watches for glyphs.
Harmony had heard as Aisha wanted to give back the potion, shaking her head. "Keep it, you need it more than I do. Alright, just be careful." she said back to the other, nodding and seeing her heal herself instead of drinking the potion. She listened as Olive apologized and Aisha was okay with it, mentioning that the shadows could not be hit normally. Then they continued on, Aisha in the back and Tsavi in the middle. Harmony decided to be in the middle of the group in front of Tsavi, wanting to protect Aisha and Tsavi from any more of the dangers that may be in this place.
