The group can see that Noch enters the room tentatively. He seems taken with everything around him and maybe a bit scared.
He gives the dead human a wide berth and inspects the room.
"Should we move on ? there is still the door we opened and didn't investigate ?" In his voice you can hear that he is not overexcited about going further into the cave.
"Yes, a splendid idea Noch. It seems that there isn't anything else to find in here and it is a bit creepy", Hoyle says as looks to the rest of his friends for an indication to proceed.
The way, south of the door ( 27 ) leads further into the complex but quickly leads to another corridor. A small passage goes to the east and a larger one goes to the west toward a closed door.
There are no sound in the area and most of the floors are dusty.
Both Tait nor Joshua sees any sort of traps. The door doesn't seemed to have been moved. There are no sign in the dust on the floor.
You can't hear any sound coming from the other side.
The door is sealed and doesn't have any mechanism to open it. The only thing you notice are grooves in the door that lead from the sides to the center. In the center there is a small recess. Something is missing there.
The group moves toward the room. You stop at the edge and discover that the room is actually an empty pit. The only thing you can actually see is a gem floating in the center of the room.
"Woah, that looks deep. I wonder what kind of magic is in that stone?", Hoyle asks as he looks around for a loose stone. He then looks pleadingly at Talon and asks, "Can you cast that light spell on this stone?" If he obliges him, Hoyle will toss the stone over the edge and watch as it descends to determine the depth and contents of the pit.
Talon would nod to Hoyle. "OK!" He would chip as he lowers his crossbow and extends his feathered hand towards the gem. Talon would then cast light on the floating gem.

(OOC sorry about that)
No worries but I think Hoyle wanted you to cast Light on a pebble to see if there is a bottom.
When you cast light on the gem it absorbs the magic and the light dies after a few seconds.

Talon would cast a light upon the door. "Open?" He would chirp as his puple eyes shine in the light from the tip of his crossbow.

Joshua goes to look at the door closer. He doesn't try to open it, just an examination (Investigation 7)
After joining more my signature got out of hand so I am now a proud member of the extended signature club!! :)
Hoyle will move up to the same door as Joshua, looking for any kind of tracks on the floor.
Survival: 22
Once he reaches the door, he will inspect it for traps and put his ear up to it to listen for anything on the other side.

Joshua pokes the recess with his rapier, and assuming nothing happens "Right, we need something for this door. Lets go down that small passage"

"I think you are right Joshua. We may find something that belongs in the recess."
There is a room you haven't done ( 30 )

Talon would let out a confused squawk before casting light on the pebble in Hoyle's hand
The pebble drops for a while and the light deems as it goes deeper. Then after a while it dissappears.
I'll need a Perception check please
Joshua watches it go down 9 but is distracted by thinking about what could cause the gem to absorb light

Ooh lookie, Perception: 22
Hoyle you notice that a pebble passes before your eyes. In the air and dropping from the ceiling. There is no light on it.
