Some of you see Von appear to be talking to himself about some invisible person, its possible the exposure to the gas has turned his mind sour. But then he hands a torch to something and it slowly moves down the hallway on its own toward the statue. When it reaches the statue the torch starts to poke and prod the stonework but nothing appears to happen.
I will also point out that if you are doing this before your short rest - the unseen servant only lasts an hour so you'll have to cast him again before you continue on.
As Iroona approaches the statue again, she hears another click and the dwarfs mouth falls open and expels another cloud of poisonous gas in a 15 foot cone
Everyone who might be that close (at least Iroona) please make another CON save DC 12 or be poisoned....again.
Von shrugs. I never said that. Steve only looked for more. It must activate on sight. Or weight. Or actual physical disturbance. He points to Steve, who is now searching the rest of the room for traps (unless he finds any. Did he find any? Should I roll investigation for him? He doesn’t have an intelligence stat, so...) and poking things with a stick, as per his command to find traps.
I'm guessing since Steve can only follow simple orders I doubt something like finding a concealed trap would be a bit more complex than he can handle. However while Steve is doing this - roll me some percentile dice - also are the rest of you all in front of the statue again or did y'all move back after Iroona triggered it?
OOC: Slate has seen it go off more than once and is more than intelligent enough not to walk into that area until the reason it goes off is determined.
(hehe sorry techically I suppose you could have just rolled a d100 - percentile dice are just two 10 sided hehe - may I ask why you have those at 1d10-1? either way I'll go with it)
with everyone moved back at a safe distance from the statue once again - the torch being held apparently by Steve starts poking and prodding around. At some point several minutes in to watching this the torch hits a part of the floor, the dwarven jaw opens and a familiar cloud of gas shoots out enveloping Steve.
(When I looked at the rules, it said 1d10 labeled from 0 to 9. So I put -1 for the same effect. I’ve never used Percentiles before, so forgive me if I screw up.)

(OOC - no worries :) percentile dice at the table are generally a pair of d10 one designated as the 10's and one designated as the 1's for rolling percentages
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Iroona has had enough. She drags herself to her feet, with a nod of thanks to Sir Aldon. Then she grabs her long, beautiful hair, and ties it up in that way you do with long hair that is so mysterious and cool. Then she stalks up to the statue, swaying a little, and holds out her hand. There's a sizzle and a pop, and the jagged, black sword she evinced before pops into existence in her hand. She grabs it with both hands, and howling something about "STUPID! STATUE! KEEPS! GOING! JUST! STOP! ALREADY!" she starts pounding on the statue with her sword.
OOC > If she manages to hit it (she's at Disadvantage for Poisoned) every hit will be a critical hit, because Shatterspike. For fun, here are many to hit/damage pairs...
1. 20 to hit, for 6 bludgeoning damage 2. 9 to hit, for 12 bludgeoning damage 3. 4 to hit, for 11 bludgeoning damage 4. 8 to hit, for 12 bludgeoning damage 5. 13 to hit, for 12 bludgeoning damage 6. 11 to hit, for 11 bludgeoning damage 7. 3 to hit, for 10 bludgeoning damage 8. 5 to hit, for 9 bludgeoning damage 9. 5 to hit, for 14 bludgeoning damage 10. 13 to hit, for 7 bludgeoning damage
After ten swings she attempts another and misses widely, spinning herself around and tottering over to fall into Slate's arms, sword falling from her hand and disappearing before it hits the floor.
Probably because that would take you more than a minute to do and the trap would have reset - but you can't be double poisoned
This. I had already figured out that part. She just wanted to take the thing apart. She can't abide the idea that there's a trap that is just there to be a trap. It's never that way in the books she's read!

Slate nods in approval to Von's use of magic, "That's a good trick there Von, really show that statue what for!"
"Well, if no one else is curious," Iroona will step up, again, and will Investigate the statue.

"Von, I thought that the trap was disarmed!" Sir Aldon shouts out as he once again runs over to hold Iroona's hair while she vomits.
