Talien pulls out his swords and moves flat against the wall, as close to the door as possible, on the way he sticks one sword in the ground to stand straight up in the air (if there is no crease avalible he will prop against the wall the goblins will be able to see as soon as they open the door) (basically the 'look at this thing that should not be here')

Rees quickly undoes Talien's security mechanisms and opens the door to see a goblin head peeping out from around the corner of a stone wall. The goblin sees Rees open the door and yells, "Eeee, not lizards... Humie! Humie! Get Bomber!"
DM Note: The goblin Rees can see has three-quarters cover using the wall as a barrier from his current position watching the door.

Can Rees bonus action dash to get closer/maybe get the goblin less cover and then shoot him? I know they beat her initiative so I'm not sure what's on the table at the moment
You can use your movement to get to the goblin that's peeping around the corner. If you want to catch up to the goblin fetching reinforcements you'd need to dash around the corner past those dummy targets in the southern part of the unexplored room. But, you can't shoot either since you has to use your action to unsecuring and opening the door.
As Rees runs into the room she sees dozens of blunted and broken arrows lying on the cracked cobblestone floor, and a few protruding from three crudely sewn, human-sized targets hung along the center of the south wall.
The northern third of the room is separated from the south by a crudely mortared and crenellated half-wall that Rees can't yet see. A permanent camp of sorts lies north of the wall, complete with a fire ring and several small iron cook pots. The goblins appear to use this room as a practice range. When they are not shooting their makeshift targets they're usually getting drunk around the campfire.
There is also a wooden door set into the western wall in the southern half of the room. You can't currently see them, but there is a door set in the western wall behind the crenelated wall as well as a door set in the northern wall.

Around the corner from Rees the goblin runner makes it over the crenelated wall. You're not sure what its fetching, but it can't be good based on the chorus of voices you hear squeaking, "EEEeeEeee... gets Bomber!"
