Tom nods to Kwiz and almost salutes but manages t control himself.
" The Sergeant should be back in a few hours got called to the Hall as for the food I ll do it sir.." he goes fidget for a second then urns back to the wizard, " When you have a moment after you eat I talked to some of the wizards you sent me to and I think I found the one called Fender."
With a smile Kwisatz replies to Tom "Tom! You're quite the researcher! Should you ever need any assistance with the arcane please feel free to ask! Join us with our meal and we can discuss what you've found!"
Crash starts chuckling at Kriz Dont ask Seb too many difficult questions dearest. He like all great men, myself included, was gifted by the gods to own two brains but not enough blood to operate them both st the same time.
Idozu cuts in after Kwisatz brings up research. “Don‘t mean to interrupt. But I was wondering if you’ve come across a solution to loss of sight through arcane means throughout your research?”
Hearing Idozu's question, Fruli picks up her drink and moves to him, then repeatedly pokes him in the shoulder (rather hard, actually) to get his attention. "Blind man. There is a prayer of restoration that can restore sight. I did not know you this morning, or I would have asked Deep Sashelas for it." She takes another swig of her ale. "If you can wait until morning, I can pray for you then."
Then she leans over to Idozu and whispers loudly while looking at the gnome. "Wizards are no good at healing. They just blow things up."

“Thanks for the offer little one. But this is a judgement cast down by the gods for my history of being blind to true justice. I fear they are no strangers to irony, thus I believe I must ask the assistance of our friends that like to .... blow stuff up.” Idozu smiles at the slightly wrong direction before biting into another piece of meat.
Hearing the talk of wizards Kwisatz says "I'll have you know that there are many schools of magic. Though some of my colleagues do, in fact, tend to 'blow things up,' many of the others prefer different aspects of the arcane. I for one find the research into divination more interesting, and it does ensure that my books stay less blackened." the last line with a slight chuckle, he continues "Though my tall friend, she is correct that healing magic is something that I have little talent for unfortunately. And we should use all that the Hands have at their disposal to restore your sight."
Xana chuckles to herself, “Don’t beat yourself up, Kriz,“ She says, then shakes her head looking rueful, “I was struggling to hit a damn thing for a good while.” Her expressions grows more serious than you’ve seen before, “We should probably take today as a lesson in caution. We’re too quick to charge in, and we almost lost someone for that today.”
She falls silent for a while, then shakes her head, gives the rest of the team a small smile and says, “Sorry! I’m being a bit of a downer, huh? I think I’m going to use the training dummies outside for a bit, give me a shout when food starts coming out, yeah?” And she gets up to go outside.

Tom finally comes back to the room with several plates of food. The food is simple but appetizing. The aroma of spice fills the room rather quickly and tom stands there at the end of the table, almost at attention, for your comments.
Once everyone is satisfied he goes back to the get a plate for himself and sits at the end of the table.
He waits a bit, clearly, a hard thing for him then spills out "Found the mage Fender." he looks at everyone sheepishly. " Sorry "
"To be more precise the brothers at Blackstaff Tower told me that one such mage used to teach there a decade ago. He lives now in Red Larch several days away from Waterdeep. He was specialized in summoning and studied the powers of ancient and forgotten gods. From what the brothers say he wasn't a nice man but rather recluse."
Blackstaff Tower is helped by twin brothers, the Goldleafs, Gary and Remy. They were former students who decided to stay and teach others.
Alton will continue to quietly eat his meal for the time being. "Being here is as restricting as the watch in someways it would seem. I do not even know if we found anything even close to what we went to investigate."

"Tom, again, thank you for your assistance"Kwisatz says to him, and then turns back to the group "There seem to be too many leads to follow here. Fender could be a good lead on to what Jonathan Greyclock was up to, but a few days ride is quite a bit when we don't know anything other than that this 'Fender's' name was mentioned... And the Red Mage we found at the dock was casting some suspicious similar magicks to what I've seen before. Though we haven't enough to actually connect these dots yet, I'm not one to believe in coincidence..."
Don’t forget that someone is hiring the local criminal enterprises to ambush us and throw us off of the trail. Being out in the woods on the way to Red Larch could be the ideal means to take out a number of us away from the watch and support
Tom looks at Alton. " The greys are way better. You get training and you get to investigate what the watch finds. I would prefer that to walking the streets all the time sir."
Umdrak swallows the peice of meat he was chewing on and looks to Crash. "You have been ambushed. What are you looking into at the moment. It must be important if someone wants you out of the way."
"Restrictions still get in the way. If we need to bust down a door to stop so etching we first need to go get permission from the watch. That is why I left the watch for this since I thought I would be able to dig deeper into stopping the crime that plagues the city." Alton says as he eats.
