As the group finishes to eat the sergeant appears at the door. He scans the group and lets another person in. You all recognize one of the Black Robes, one of the magistrates of the city. The woman looks about 40 with a stern face that doesn't seem to be able to smile and a lean almost gaunt frame. She wears the scepter of her office on her right side and a wand ready for use n her left.
The sergeant steps in. " Hello, Greys. You seem to have had a rough day. This is Lady Blackthorn and she has informed me that the gloves are off. Time to show the ruffians of this city that an attack on the Grey is punishable by death."
"But first you ll have to explain exactly what has happened today for you lot. Also, Tom told me that I need people to go to Red Larch but we will get back to that in a few. Speak!"
Evening Sarge, Wolf team were on our way to Sea Ward on patrol as ordered when we got approached by a young lad who said that thieves were threatening his mam and stealing from the store. Turns out that was partly true. They had taken a contract out on us but we dunno who. One of the thugs got away unfortunately but the others are with the watch now.
He runs his hands through his beard. I reckon its linked to that murder we were investigating, but all I got is a gut feelin no hard evidence
Xana nods in support of Crash's words, having returned from the training area at the smell of food, "The only people we've annoyed would be those linked with that murder."

Waiting for Xana and Crash to give their report, Umdrak stood up to have his turn. "We went to keep an eye on a incoming ship The Crimson Dawn. We found a group of Black Brothers hanging out at a local tavern in the Dock District. On arrival of the ship Kwiz had spotted a powerful red mage and we followed her to a residence in the city. The occupents of the residence did not seem to move naturally. Once we gathered all the information we could we returned here."

Fruli was loudly stuffing her face, adding more food stains to her armor, but she was listening very carefully to Alpha Team's report. As Umdark spoke, she raised a chicken bone in inquiry.
"How did they not 'move naturally'? Was it some kind of magic, or just strange?"

Turning to Fruli. " I have spent many a time hunting humaniods that invade my forest home. Their movement was, I am not sure how best to discribe it, kind of jerky."
"Those mages are also known for their necromantic studies, and the aura of the magic there resembled that which we saw at the missing mage's house a couple days past." Kwisatz adds.
The sergeant and the magistrat make a quick eye contact. They have listened to all that you have said and seem to have come to some conclusion.
The sergeant is the first to speak.
"Seems to me like someone wanted to make an exemple out of the Wolf." he rubs his chin as if pondering "Maybe it s our time to push back. Just to remind the lesser civilized part of Waterdeep not to mess with us."
He looks at the magistrate who just nods.
"Wolf you are going to make a vacuum in the criminal part of this city. The watch as told me that in the House you searched several nights ago there was a trap door leading underneath. A magistrate had that door opened and it leads to some underground paths that connect other such houses. I want you to rest then go down there and find out where they lead. You are authorized to use any force necessary. If you find a gang burn the place. If you find hidden cache burn the place. If you find something useful for the gangs.... Burn it."
He looks at you and nods before continuing.
" Alpha you can either support Wolf and do the same thing as they do. There a two differents paths under the first house or you can look into that Fender fellow and go to Red Larch."
Time for some pay back! Excellent! Crash pops his shoulders as he stands up. He gives the Sergeant his old gladiator salute before heading to the stairs. I’m going to get some rest then and meditate on having the proper centre for tomorrow. Good night all
"Though it's a trek, I would rather explore and investigate the Red Larch. Searching for answers to a mystery sounds more intriguing than burning things down." Kwisatz says, adding to his group "What are the rest of your thoughts?"
"If they need more help with a fight then I would not object to helping them. But if it is required that we leave for Red Larch then let us do so with the utmost haste." Alton says as he slides out of his seat to join the others.
