Oruk gets up. ''We will have to watch out for these Ankheks and Umber Hulks when we resume our journey. Or at least be ready when they explode from the ground again.''
Yes, but the village is outside of the 3 mile radius of commune. Asthe plains are very flat, one can see for miles upon miles. You can estimate you are about 10 miles out still, and the smoke you can see seems to be that of cooking fires, not more aggressive or black smoke indicating a true house/village fire
Ora looks out over the flat land, thinking, “Is there perhaps a way to make ourselves less visible on these flats? If not, we should presume that anything we can see will be able to see us.”

"I am capable of making us invisible to the naked eye. One issue, however; the veil is fairly fragile, casting a spell or even attempting an aggressive action will be enough to interrupt it. Other than that, outside of any sort of specialized sight, it should do the job."
"If there was an easy way to see through it, it wouldn't be doing a good job, no? As I said, specialized sight - and even certain spells - can render those under its cover visible. Other methods of detection can be used as well, such as tracks, sounds, and smells."
"Regardless, the point of the spell is less for coordination, and more takes advantage of that most guards, patrols and lookouts rely heavily on eyesight, and negates that precious commodity."
''In that case, it might be better to keep the spell for later use. If we do spot a patrol or guard, then you can cast it to help us, but until then, keep it.''

Yes, although most of your knowledge of Umber Hulks would be whispers and hear-say, as the creatures are rare and deadly

Gig will speak up, "Heard whispers of these 'Umber Hulks' you speak of. Didn't know they actually exist."
(There was smoke coming from the direction of Gig's old village? Correct? It's been a bit lol)
If so,
Gig will look back to the rising smoke, "Need to move. People could be in danger."
