Gig nods to Anastasia then turns to the group, "Is everyone ready to head out? A little over a days walk, let's get as far as we can while we still have some daylight left."
Slasher picks up the javelins, "Does anyone else wish for one of these? Either to carry now or for me to pass to you if we engage a skirmish party?"He then turns around to Gig, "Let us leave, we have no need to delay any longer"
Supplies collected, you all turn back out into the rain and begin to follow the path referenced by Captain Dense. The trail is quite slippery, more mud than dirt or gravel. Each of you falls more than once, coating yourselves in grime that Anastasia wipes away in an instant. With the path so deteriorated, you all find that, save Gig, no one has any sense of direction. The half orc, however, follows the paths of his youth flawlessly.
Can I have a marching order and three perception checks?
(In total, @InfinityDM. As a rule of thumb, when travelling for more than an hour and outside of civilization, I will always be asking for a marching order and perception, whether there is an outcome or not)
You make your way through the rain for nearly three hours. As the third hour reaches its end, you start to approach the first of many mountain passes that seperates the tribes from the Sentinels. The mountains loom out of the rain, obscured from your vision until you get uncomfortably close. The large structures of rock jut out from the ground, reaching thousands of feet into the air. Blocking the pass between the two is an equally impressive fortress, which you know to be manned by the peacekeeper’s soldiers. As you approach, a voice calls out. ”Who goes there?”
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
((Would Gig recognize the voice?))
If he does:
"It's Gig, *insert name here*." he says calmly and void of most emotion.
If he does not:
He will stand there in complete silence, eyes looking at every nook and cranny wherever the voice came from.
((Can Gig make a Perception check to see if he can see any humanoids hiding in the treeline, waiting for a signal or anything a long those lines. Maybe he can also see where/who/what the voice is coming from? Here is the roll: 18))
Gig: You don’t recognize the voice, although you can judge that it comes from the direction of the fort. The rain obscures both the treeline and the fort itself, leaving you no direct figure to associate with the voice.
Also Gig:
You would know that the name of your location, you home village, is Gorathal
All: The voice rings out through the rain again. ”Watchman Pilos, patrol. What is your destination?”
"That's fine. Stolas will be grateful for the oats, since it's still miles better than eating carrion."

Gig would be leading the way, this is his home turf anyway. He seems deep in thought as the party walks.
