The deer enters the shop, picking her way through debris of the fight; she approaches the three suspects, levels her gaze at them, and then stomps her hoof. She then proceeds to start smelling them, pushing her muzzle close to their faces and snorting loudly.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Xana offers Seb one of her healing potions. (Are all of the thugs clumped together? If they are clumped up enough to be affected by a 10ft cube she’ll use her Fey Presence to try and charm them, dc13 wisdom). She turns to them and squats down and says, “We’re really not in the mood for the silent treatment, so how about you all play along nicely and tell us what the hell you’re doing here.”

Xana: The thugs are at your mercy so if you want to put them together before casting the spell , go ahead. Also, having the deer in the room may help on persuasion. ( Advantage on the roll)
On the top floor; The kid finally gets his bearing and starts talking to you.
"His father was a great bow maker and his mother tried to do the same when his father disappeared. what she didn't know was the deal her husband had with a local gang and he bought stolen god from the gang and sold it as his own. She was asked to do the same and refused. They intimidated all her costumers and she had no choice be do some things for them. He, Luther, has been running a street gang of kids to get by."
The Thugs are fully under your control they actually fight to get your approval. It's rather weird.
From what you can gather this was a hit. They are part of a small gang in the area. The Shields. They had a contact pay them really good money to hurt you all.
It was never said that you were Greycloacks. Only where you would be leaving from and they had a general description on all of you except for the deer lady.
The thug seems truthful if a bit out of his depth.
The Shield are a local gang who have a good reputation and are more local enforcers than real thugs.
The watch finally arrives and they ask you what has happened. The corporal, Shean, doesn't like to have you around and seems to think this is all your fault. That is until he hears that it was a set up from the mouth of the owner and the kid. Then he mellows down some.
The watch rounds up the criminal and waits for you to give them your version of the occurrence.
(Welcome back :) hope everything’s okay at your end now)
”We were sent to patrol around this area. While we’re doing that, this kid runs up to us, saying his mum’s shop is being robbed and asking us for help. Of course, we spring into action to try and help the kid. As soon as we get here, we’re attacked with magic from one of them and by the non-magicians - not that unusual. We defend ourselves and get the situation under control, stopping a couple of them from running, though we suspect that some of them perhaps escaped via the rooftops during the initial scuffle. The boy and his mother were injured and Kriz healed them. According to what we’ve been told by the thugs, and by the boy, it was some kind of shake down?” Xana looks over to the rest of her team, “Is that the right saying, shake down?”

Fruli returns to her elven form and moves to Xana's side, arms crossed over her armored chest. "An ambush, at least. These people are victims of these thugs. We didn't have time to carch the one who ran over roofs." The hunter in her really wanted to chase down the human filth and rip him apart, but tracking in the city was hard. Maybe not today, she accepted with sigh, but she would find him.

Fruli looks from Xana to the corporal, then speaks uncertainly. "Uh...do justice to them." Then she suddenly lunges forward and gets right in one of the goons' face, teeth bared. "I never forget a scent. Ever." She then closes her eyes and takes a long sniff. "Be nice to the next rat you see. The next cockroach." Her eyes snap wide open. "Because a druid can enter any cage. Any cell."
She then turns and walks away slowly, but Xana can see Fruli is trying very hard not to laugh.

Crash takes a swig from his canteen, nods to the guards, slaps Seb on the shoulder and starts to walk after Fruli.
Corporal I know it’s not my place but could I suggest a long drop and a sudden stop as punishment? It’ll be kinder for them than if I meet them again.Crash waits for the others outside in the sunlight so no one sees how worried he was about Seb.
"I'm glad that's over. My head is pounding from those hits." He dusts himself off and checks that all of his gear is in the correct place. "I think I might just stick to water and tea tonight, rest my muscle aches." He stays silent for a couple of moments, watching Crash out of the corner of his eye as he tries to hold back a huge grin.
Bloody Pirate! Maybe you should headbutt their fists less? Crash shakes his head, at least his friends sense of humour was still intact even if his senses weren’t
“Water and Tea are very tame sounding names for your usual type, Seb, but who am I to judge?” Xana shrugs, then grins at Fruli, “Nice scare tactics, by the way! I gotta say guys,” and she shakes her head at Seb and Crash, “With the ladies in this team being the scary ones, I feel like we’re breaking some moulds.”
