Idozu will take an attack of opportunity from the other bandit Attack: 14 Damage: 8 and rushes after the feeling bandit chief.
As he crashes through the forest he sees the man in a green cape trying to remain hidden. He is still to far from Idozu but not from his spell. Dex check 22
The bandits seem to have decided to leave the fight. The easy picking turned out to be far tougher than they expected.
The ones that are in close combat haven't reacted yet but all the others, ( with bows ) are running. Their leader is also in the wind or at least running like it.
I ll make Darien move.
Darien Attack: 15 Damage: 12
He cleaves the man in front of him in two, almost.
Idozu. In your back you feel an attacker swinging its weapon at you.
Bandit: Attack: 20 Damage: 3
Alton. The last one in front of you realizing what is going on takes a step away from you and runs away.
You can all move now either to help your companions or to pursue the fleeing men.
Alton misses the bandit by a hair and the man sprints into the forest putting trees between him and Alton's bow.
Idozu smashes the hammer into the running man's back sending him tumbling forward. He falls flat on his face a'd tries to turn before Idozu arrives. His hands are as far has he can from his weapons but he doesn't say anything.
Grabbing onto the collar of the groveling bandit. And hoisting him up in the air. “Tormund, search him to see what he has taken from the innocent.” The white monkey with golden paws scurries up from out of the shield and up the arm crawling about the bandit leader to search his pockets. When Tormund is finished Idozu walks back the leader to the group. “Have any questions for him?” Without relinquishing his grip on the man, his hammer in the other hand.
Watching him shake the bandit, Kwistatz will watch to see if he's covering any pockets, or if anything under his cloak looks unusual ((help with investigation, or my own roll here: 20))
The bandit leader is just a self appointed thug Tha t manages to get a grouo to follow him in this endeavor.
He is way over his head and starts saying "that this wasn't how it was supposed to be" and" you weren't supposed to be there."
He seems to blame you all for making this perfectly fine plan go awry.
Still after a thorough search and some shaking you finally understand that he received a tip that a merchant princess was coming this way with a few guards and that they were supposed to rob them. The girl needed to dissappear but they weren't planning on killing her. They had a better idea....
Deep inside you know that you don't want to know about the better idea.
As for the rest the bandit scurms à bit. "A man. Important looking but I know better than to ask questions. The target was Lady Cassander of Waterdeep." he checks himself and says "That is all I know."
Make an History check DC 14 please. On success read.
The Cassander family has been the center of gossip in Waterdeep for the last few months. Seems there is a new husband and he is trying to clean house letting his sons have the full right to the house fortune. The sole daughter of the house is very loved and has the wits to work with the Waterdeep guilds.
The Family is known for its silver mines and iron working
would the daughter be the Lady? Or is the Lady the wife of the 'new husband'?
Hearing the name, Kwizats thinks back to some news he's read recently and says "I believe that family is rather well off... though also experiencing some internal conflict. I've never really had much reason to care about the inner workings of the well-to-do families in the city, though perhaps helping the Lady could provide the Grey some assistance if we were to help her."

Sorry having a hard time with my travels to do some writing. I'll update tomorrow for sure.

Seeing Idozu with the leader, Kwisatz will brush himself off, let the others run, and walk over towards Idozu to listen as they talk.
PbP 🎲: Tyekanik; Moneo Noree; Korba Muris; & occasional DM:
The leader of the bandits doesn't seem to be the fierce opponent you had several minutes ago but more like a pathetic wretch out of his depth.
He is holing his hands up in a sign of resignation and waiting for the inevitable sentence.
(You are still a 1 or 2 hours from the town of Red Larch )
