The barmaid appears to be busy with other customers at the moment. You'll have to get her attention in some way or find another way of ordering for now. Otherwise you're all still sitting around sipping your drinks. What would you like to do next?
After agreeing to join forces, Adva, Coro, and Garona decide to head out at once for the Skewered Dragon tavern where Volo's friend Floon was last seen. The streets are dark and less crowded now that most citizens are indoors enjoying an evening meal or other entertainments in the local taverns and inns.
As you turn a corner, you find yourselves on a street that has been cordoned off by the City Watch. Lying on the cobblestones are a half-dozen corpses, seemingly the victims of some terrible skirmish. Watch officers have disarmed and arrested three blood-drenched humans and are in the midst of questioning witnesses. One of the officers sees you. “Get on,” she says. “Nothing to see here.”
"I said move along!" The guard steps forward to bar Garona from getting any closer. He gives Garona a menacing look then briefly looks over his shoulder, "Nothing to see here but a few dead Xanathar thugs."
He turns back towards you, "Move along now, just go around, we're not blocking the entire city, just take the next street over. Or would you like to join these three Zhentarim on their way to the gallows?"
The three captives eye you coldly, one of them catches Adva's eye and she sees the contempt there. Meanwhile Coro thinks he may recognize one of the dead bodies as one of the thugs from the bar fight earlier.
As Coro attempts to push thru the guard, he stumbles and falls. The guard catches him luckily avoiding any injury but by the look on his face, he's now furious. "You clumsy, brainless, -" Before he can continue, several more of the guards now come over and they shove Coro back towards the others roughly. "Begone before we decide to lock you up too!"
The group quickly moves on and find themselves in a less familiar section of the city. Tall, densely packed tenements leave most of the neighborhood in shadow at ground level. Most of the streetlamps have had their glass smashed and their candles stolen, and the smells of salt air and excrement linger as you pass by rows of run-down buildings.
One nearby shop stands out from the others. It has a deep purple facade, and in its window hangs a stuffed beholder. Above the door hangs a sign whose elaborate letters spell out “Old Xoblob Shop.”

Ignoring the warning, Garona leans over to the blood drenched humans and asks what happened.
“.... this can’t be.”
”Is there another way around?”

“We were just leaving!” Advance nudges Garona and Coro and starts to back away

Cora steps with Garona and Adva, shuttering as the vision of the scene slowly disappears from his field of view.
The three captives eye you coldly, one of them catches Adva's eye and she sees the contempt there. Meanwhile Coro thinks he may recognize one of the dead bodies as one of the thugs from the bar fight earlier.
Garona grunts in disdain at the guards and continues en route to the tavern
"WAIT!" Coro shouts.
Coro darts back and in an almost out-of-body experience, pushes through the City Guard.
"Thats the thug from earlier in the bar! Who could have done him in like this in such little time?!"

“Let’s GO, Coro.” Adva shoots daggers from her eyes before walking away
