“Nice to meet you, Meepo. I’m Kierro. I suppose we could help you; maybe the giant goblin took both Calcryx and the group that we’re looking for to the same place.”
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Heia stands near the broken bars of the dragons cage, and says to the group, "If this is an important task for you, inserting ourselves in goblin-kobold border disputes, I will help. Otherwise, this is not our objective. Its likely not an antlered goblin, given it could bend bars meant to hold a dragon."
She stares hard at Meepo trying to guess his intentions. Insight 14

Heia and Asmodai detect that Meepo wants his dragon back in part because his status as dragon master is questionable while there is no dragon.
"It's a sad story. Our home down below was swarmed by horrible, giant ants! There were too many of them! So Lady Yusdrayl lead us here, and here we are."
"How far is Lady Yusdrayl from this room, and where do you think the antlered goblin took your friend? Pet? Dragon? Has the antlered goblin taken other things? If we can help you, we can try, or we can at least do some reconnaissance but really, we are here to bring back the other tall folk. I think they came in here to stop the goblins from raiding the outside world. Do you think they would be likely to have taken the tall folk too?"
Soar is giving both alternating shrugs and knowing looks to her companions. The kobold seems a decent source of information and likely knows a fair amount about the citadel. Worth trying to work with him for the time being and figuring out likely places their quarry might be with a currently-friendly guide.
Heia returns Soar's look with an understanding nod. She walks away from the cage and approaches the group standing near Meepo, stowing her quarterstaff in the process.
"Very well then, It seems if we want any proper answers we need to speak with this Yusdrayl."
She removes the string of beads from her neck and begins idly twisting the cord. Her arm sweeps outward, gesturing for the kobold to lead on.

"What direction is goblin territory? And what do you think your Lady will say if we were to just walk into her throne room? Would you vouch for us?" Soar is fine with going if that's what the others in the group want. "How many of your people are in the citadel, who escaped the giant ants?"
"Yes yes, Meepo will vouch for your safe passage! There are, hmm, maybe four dozen of us here?" He tries to count on his fingers but quickly runs out of them. "Anyway, please follow me!"
Meepo leads you through the open passageway to the west of his dragon taming station, and has you turn right. You pass some kobold guards. "Halt! Come no... Oh, they're with you, Meepo? Yeah, I guess we can let them by. But we're watching you!" The kobold guard points its spear in the direction of the party to drive home the point.
You find yourself in a grand hall. Deterioration and decay thrive here as everywhere; however, a double row of relief-carved marbl columns march the length of the hall. The warn carvings depict entwining dragons.
"This way!", Meepo says. He leads you west towards the end of the hall. A short throne stands near the west wall, constructed of fallen bits of masonry stacked against an old altar. A kobold in red-dyed robes sits in the throne, and a force of six other kobolds guards her. The altar's top contains a variety of small items, while the portion of the altar that serves as the throne's back features a carving of a rearing dragon. A metallic key is held firmly in the rearing dragon's open mouth.
"Lady Yusdrayl, may I present... Erm, what were your names again?" Meepo scratches his head. "Regardless, my lady! These surface dwellers have agreed to find our dragon!"
"I am Soar Jesperson, your friendly neighborhood doomguide, paladin of Kelemvor. It's so nice to meet you! Have you see any other surface-dwellers come through here about a month ago?"
"The goblins that took your dragon?" Heia exhales sharply through her nose.
She shifts her weight and turns to the party, fiddling with her beads in agitation. "There is information not being presented. No mere goblins bend bars and kidnap dragons. I know goblins well; They are unruly, craven creatures. There is more at play here."
Heia returns her gaze to the Lady. "Have you seen them use magic? Who is their leader? Is there anything you know about the goblin lair? Or someone we can ask? Please, we mean no disrespect, but time is of the essence. They still may yet be alive."

"Very well; you deserve to know what you are dealing with." Yusdrayl explains. "Though it is nothing in comparison to draconic sorcery, the goblins do indeed wield magic, especially their head shaman, Grenl. They are lead by a goblin called Durnn, and have strong allies, hobgoblins and even a bugbear. Goblin captives tell of humans, down deeper, who give orders to Durnn."
"Now that you know this, do you still desire to fight the goblins?" She shifts in her throne. "You are quite brave if you do. If you succeed in bringing back our wyrmling, any two items behind me are yours for the taking."
(Behind Yusdrayl are a metallic key, a feather token, three scrolls, and some sort of concoction.)
