(Erik, Asmodai and Soar are interested in the strength potion; anyone else going along with them, I feel like there was at least one other that expressed interest but I'm forgetting.) (There's also the barrows to consider, so decide which and when to take part in these endeavors.)
Alton rejoins the crew, Lif directs Jal to some empty barrels, while Janus gets a double-course of breakfast (lets say five silver).
Around mid-noon the interested parties meet with Volo and head over to a courthouse in Castle Ward, where a Tiefling magistrate by the name of Kylynne Silmerhelve officiates over the transaction; Volo had forgotten about the twenty five gold transaction fee, but has just enough on him to cover it so you four don't have to. (Lif, being bound to the tavern, could not attend, and so will continue to be an unofficial partner in the ownership.) Congratulations; Trollskull Manor is yours!
At breakfast Erik say "The professor want four of us to test the potion. It has to be tested in the lab, unfortunly." Erik had of course hoped to test a working strenght potion out in an adventure :)
"So lets see if we can find the 4th member of testers."
Asmodai tells Erik,"Maybe if we only have the three of us, there will be more potion to test, and produce better results. Also, if it looks like it's working as it's supposed to, maybe there will be more to go around for the testers to keep."

Backstory: Cedric was brought up by humble folk, spending much of his childhood tending to fields and keeping in the good graces of his small community. As he grew older, however, he found himself a passion beyond just keeping up the status quo. Cedric had a talent for art, an eye for painting and a hand with skill to match. Knowing that his sheltered life in such a small town would limit his work, Cedric, with a heavy heart, set out into the world at large, looking to experience anything and everything he can to pour into his craft.
The red-haired halfling strolls into the Yawning Portal with an uneasy grin, overcoat dancing in the rush of humid air. The grin is quick to turn to outright uncertainty as he surveys the Yawning Portal, the crowd within instantly making him feel twice as small. Big cities are a far call from home for Cedric, and the sheer size of the crowd in this building wasn't helping. He shakes his head to himself before making his way to an empty table, trying to take a posture that best resembles "relaxed" as he fishes around in his satchel, producing a sheet of parchment and a stick of charcoal.
"Well then, well then, breathe for a moment there Cedric..." he speaks under his breath, whispering to himself in thick highland brogue. "Just do a few warm-ups and take in the sights, you've got this!"
Ignis is deep in sleep when he hears the others mention the strength potion, causing him to wake up. “Are we going to see the wizard about that strength potion? I’ve been wanting to do it for a while!”
(Thanks for the welcome! Looking forward to tearing up Waterdeep through the power of ART!)
Cedric hums and haws a bit as he nibbles at the end of his charcoal stick, pausing for a brief moment to cough up a bit of the debris that inevitably lands on his tongue. Shaking his head in an attempt to recover, he scans the room, looking for something interesting to sketch up.
His eyebrows per up a he notices a group sitting at a table, talking about some new venture of theirs over breakfast. A teifling, a fire gensai, a warforged, and even a halfling like himself... quite the diverse group! With a grin he gets to work, furiously sketching out details as he stares at them, hardly attempting to look anything but conspicuous as he puts his skills to use.
Erik leads Asmodai, Soar, Ignis and Ripi back to the professor's laboratory.
It turns out that he's delighted by the rare opportunity to test the potion on a super-advanced humanoid golem like Ripi. He gives a rundown of the information he gave Erik before. "Before we begin, are there any questions you may have about the experimental procedure?"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Asmodai, while eating breakfast with his little group is very cautious, especially after the events that transpired the night before. He's always taking furtive glances around the tavern.
(Perception: 14 to see if he notices the Halfling looking at them constantly, as well as to see if Yagra is around.)

On the Super Strength Potion Adventure: Asmodai asks, "Exactly what does this experiment entail, might I ask?"
Cedric jumps in his seat as his concentration is broken, looking up to see a half-elf stranger standing over him. He chuckles a little, clearing his throat in an attempt to regain a bit of composure. "Well hello there, stranger! Heh, sorry about that, ya' caught me by surprise. I tend to get a bit.. absorbedinto my work. Eheh.." He nods, hopping up onto the chair and extending a charcoal-dusted hand.

Backstory: Kierro Hawklight, an aasimar, was only a few years old when his celestial blood drew a horde of undead towards him. While the people in his town successfully warded off the invasions, they kept coming, and Kierro wished for a way to assist. Later, he met a priest from a temple of Pelor, who in exchange for dedication to the temple and its god promised to give him the power to defend himself and those he cared about.
Kierro fixes his blue scarf as he walks into the Yawning Portal. The atmosphere is usual for an inn, but for him it's rather quiet. As he pulls out a chair, he notices an artist sitting at the table behind him, sketching. The sketch looks good to him, so he turns to introduce himself. As he reaches out his hand, he stops. I'll let them finish first. He watches quietly.
Durnan says he'll get the letter to Yagra; you expect that he's the kind that will be respectful of private letters and not peek at it.
At the laboratory, professor Zalin explains again, "You will all enter the warding circle over there; a standard precaution, you understand, committee wouldn't have us do experimental alchemy without one. On my mark you will all drink the potion. We will then begin some standard kinesthetic tests, and move on from there."
