Lord Isaac levels his gaze to Oz once more, yet remains in his stern monotone, "And Mr. Diggs, where do you fail to keep up? I would assume that a student of your... caliber would have no issues keeping up with a simple summoning ritual as this. Perhaps, you do not recognize the importance of what is occurring. If that is the case, allow me to simplify it for you." Isaac stands with his hands upon his desk, "This ritual has not occurred as it is currently in roughly two centuries. Despite the efforts of countless mages to force the ritual, every attempt has resulted in a false result. Allow me to be clear, in any other circumstance, neither of you would be masters. The only reason that you are afforded this opportunity in this present moment is our hesitation to tamper with the ritual in any manner. So, I would advise paying attention, Mr. Diggs, your life is very much on the line."

*gulp* "Right. I mean... uh... who am I summoning? I need to know that. I summon stuff all the time, but I prefer to know who to get my er... signals right. Ya know?"
Oz moodily pulls the central cord of his ear buds to pop them out of his ears.
Isaac remains standing at his desk, but removes his hands from his table and walks over to a shelf, near Imani, “Who indeed. The Grail does not allow for exceptionally specific summoning, as a more mundane ritual commonly would. However, with this being said, the use of a catalyst can drastically increase the chance of the proper servant being summoned. To this end, the Mage’s Association has provided two catalysts for exactly this reason. We would like to ensure that the ‘deck is stacked in our favor,’ so to speak.”
Isaac removes a finely crafted wooden box from the shelf and gently sets it on the desk. He undoes a lock on the box and opens it, inside, there is a piece of fossilized wood with a runic carving on it, “From the Caledonian Forest, an authentic carving of, what we believe to be the wizard, Merlin. And this...” He lifts the inside of the box a little, which lifts into a second shelf. Underneath it, there is a dust tome, “Is the first edition copy of well known Scandinavian folk tales. While not as specific as the carving, one should still be able to summon a powerful servant from such tales. We are unsure as to what it may summon exactly.”

"What say you, humans? Are you ready to fight for a real and true Wish?"
"Absolutely, unequivocally, unapologetically not." She looks from Sarai to Isaac. "What is this, a grift? Is she your hook, or whatever?"
She shakes her head. "Listen. Magic is real? Whatever. I'm magic? Fine. I'm sure I'll have a lovely time here at Hogwarts." She points a finger at Sarai. "But I'm not a gun, sister, and you just try your best to 'use' me."
She looks back at Isaac. "And if you know so much about all this, why aren't YOU fighting in this war?"

Isaac closes the box once more, “I was, in fact, a master in one of the previous wars. Unfortunately, the war could not collect enough power to summon enough servants, and thus, the ritual failed. It is for this reason that we cannot afford to attempt to change the masters of this war. We are, for lack of a better term, going with the flow out of concern that we will not get another chance.”

“We can agree to those conditions. However, it is imperative that the summoning takes place this evening at the latest. Servants require time to properly acclimate to their master’s mana supply.” Isaac rests his hands together, “And you, Mr. Diggs?”

Oscar smiles. "That we do, Mr. Sir." He stands up to shake on it and seal the deal. Assuming Isaac shakes, he turns to Imani and says, "You didn't know magic was a thing until now, but you obviously have enough raw skill that these high brows took notice.
