Oz goes over to Imani and says, "You should let her rest, ya know, if she wants. Being summoned s'gotta suck." He hesitates a moment. "I noticed you casting some sort of spell before each part of the ritual. Did it help? If it's not too much trouble, would you mind... helping... uh... me?"
Despite what they said, they continue to move until finally, their whole head pops out of the sheets. Their pale, cherub face wears an easy smile, looking like a little kid waking up from a nap, the little girl asks, "Master Imani, let's take a nap."
Imani's knees buckle and she sinks to the floor. She barely notices the speaker as she waves the honorific away and mutters, "Imani... It's just Imani."
Suddenly, her head snaps up as it clicks that the "hero" she brought into the circle is a child. She hops forwards (awkwardly- she's still too weak to stand) and takes the girl's face in her hands. "Are you okay? Are you hurt? Did I... Do you know where you are? Do you want to go back?"
Oz goes over to Imani and says, "You should let her rest, ya know, if she wants. Being summoned s'gotta suck." He hesitates a moment. "I noticed you casting some sort of spell before each part of the ritual. Did it help? If it's not too much trouble, would you mind... helping... uh... me?"
Imani glances up from her inspection of the little girl... chillingly, the name "Assassin" pops into her mind.
"What? I cast another spell?" She thought about it... The first part of the ritual sucked- there was no getting around that fact. But she knew it would. She didn't think ANY of this would work, actually. She had spent the entire afternoon preparing, but there hadn't been time. So she had asked...
She suppressed another shudder. She had reached out: she had asked The City for help. And The City had answered.
"I guess I could..." She looks Oz in the eye. "I can ask it to help you, but I'll be honest: it's A LOT, you know what I mean?"
(Imani will ask for help on Oz's behalf during his ritual)
"Ooh, okay," the girl nods. She slips out of the blankets, sliding down the hill. She doesn't get up off the floor as she is doted upon by Imani. Finally the little one sits up. It seems she's possibly a preteen or an underdeveloped teenager - though that can't possibly be true given her hero status. The girl fiddles with the hem of her night shirt as she looks up toward Imani, "I feel... Like I'm not all here. That's probably normal. So, big sis, I guess I'll be looking after you from now on... Zzz."
Somehow the small girl has fallen asleep while sitting up.

Oscar goes over the instructions given him one last time before beginning... making some modifications to the script. He decides he is going to try and speak the ritual in the language Scots. Merlin supposedly lived hundreds of years, but if you go by the main story of King Arthur, Merlin would have been alive at around the year 600. "It's really just Old English with a Scottish accent. How hard can it be?" he tells himself.
The very first thing he does is cast prestidigitation to magically paint a perfect summoning circle as prescribed. He then uses this to trace the circle with the provided materials. Arcana: 16+2.
When he is done with that, he goes back over to Imani to ask for help one more time. "I'm going to need it," he thinks.
He then recites the spell while attempting to use a rough version of Scots that is probably mostly made up. Performance: 7+1.
As the magic takes hold and not (edit: totally) enough time to ask for another blessing, he focuses all his will and prays to all the gods he has ever heard of that this works. GIRLS are watching after all. Persuasion: 19.
As expected of one of the finest students of Clocktower, Oz’s understanding of arcane theory assists him greatly in this summon.
The Ritual goes off Expertly. The circle is traced with expert understanding and there are few, if any issues at all. The Servant being summoned will have 5HD more than its Master.
The Casting is executed Perfectly. Oz flows through the words of the spell in quick succession. Additionally, with his understanding, he incorporates an additional line in the spell that will serve to reinforce the body and spiritual core of the Servant. The Servant’s Max HP is equal to as if it had rolled Maximum HP on HD one die higher than its own.
The Contract, however, is perfectly average. He completes it without issue, but without flare. The Servant’s parameters remain unchanged from the summoning.
As light fills Oz’s own circle, the Servant materializes. Standing before him, is a man in tattered robes. Who... I will let describe himself!

"So, big sis, I guess I'll be looking after you from now on... Zzz."
Somehow the small girl has fallen asleep while sitting up.
Imari clucks at that, then turns to Isaac. "Hey! You said you'll provide anything I need? I need clothes, food, and a real bed for a twelve year old girl. Then I need you to go ahead and get the same for me." She pauses and looks over to Sarai. "Give me a hand? Can you watch the kid for a minute? I need to make a call..."
Sarai nods to Imani, "Of course, let the nannying begin," but she says it with a small smile as she moves over to where Assassin is 'asleep.' She gathers one of the blankets, and folds it into a pillow, which she sets on the ground. "Your Master wishes you to be comfortable, girl," she says to her quietly, "I mean you no harm," and she gently tries to guide the sleeping girl from sitting to lying down, head on the pillow.
She glances over to Lord Isaac. "Is this what you expected, m'Lord? You really have thrown the dice this time, have you not."

As light fills Oz’s own circle, the Servant materializes. Standing before him, is a man in tattered robes. Who... I will let describe himself!
The man in robes has wild, locked hair, a stringy beard, and bushy eyebrows. He stands in a half-crouch, fingers splayed outwards, his glances shifting all over his new surroundings. These hands look as if they haven't been washed in years, and his fingernails are yellowed and cracked. His "robes," a generous description, are tattered and mottled grey. It's obvious he is wearing layers, though it is relatively impossible to tell where one layer ends and another begins. He might as well be wearing rags.
"Who is it...?" The figure demands in a muted tone, looking out from behind his curtain of dirty dreadlocks. His stare seems to go through you, rather than meet you. "Who is it?"
"It's uh... me. Oscar... Oscar Diggs. You... okay?" Oz takes a hesitant step toward the man with his hands out in front him and angled down with palms facing away from himself. It's the same gesture one would make when approaching a skittish new dog.
