As Caster lands, assuming he utilizes the whirlwind function of the Investure, the fog still remains, clinging to its place in the air like a petulant child. You assume that it is likely because the spell keeps the fog at a constant level. Regardless, you are able to at least see the path forward, eventually coming to a flat fork in the path between two halls. Above you, Caster can heard a voice, speaking in an old tongue that the Grail translates for Caster, “You, who brave the catacombs of King Solomon of Israel, leave. You follow path upon useless path, and you beat your head against the stone.”
OOC > "...that the grail translates for Caster..." Wha?! !!!! :)
Indeed, Servants are summoned with knowledge of the modern world, this includes all common languages. No magic ones though unless they knew that in life, like Sylvan or something.

ey/em/eirs, or they/them works, too (just not he). Role-playing since that keep on those borderlands. Here's my D&D stuff. I love it so.
The fog does indeed remain. Lancer and Matthias will continue into the hall and reach the rest of you. Lancer will attempt to dispel it (21). He spins his spear and plants it into the floor. With a pulse of air, the fog in the halls drops to the floor and vanishes.
The party then goes to the right, enjoying the now clear air of the... underground catacombs. Yeah, not that clear really, but at least visible. As you approach the end of the hall, you see that it splits off into two other directions, north and south, with a flat wall in front of you.

These paths seem nearly identical to you, not in any Magic way, but merely in structure. The wall ahead of you is perfectly kept, but lacks any directions or clues, just blank stone. You do do a wonderfully accurate disguise however.

"Alright, here's my thought: we're bound to run into some wolves soon. If you can turn invisible or look like a werewolf, you should do so. Everyone who CAN'T," she conjures a number of illusory chains and manacles, "I slap these around. Might give us a chance to get the drop on them, yeah?"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
I’ll allow that as a use of Silent Image.
Matthias nods, “A fair assessment. While I am loathe to spend more of my mana, I believe that it is best we hide. If the servants cannot pass through these walls, they can, at the very least, remain in spiritual form.” Matthias speaks a short verse, claps his hands together, and touches Oz. Both instantly vanish. “Besides, now they’ll only kill you if they find us.”
Meanwhile, Matthias looks around, and is going to attempt a check: 11
A voice speaks out from the invisible mage, “Ah. So that’s what this is. It would appear that the area is protected with various guards and wards, something to keep us out and allow free passage for those deemed worthy. The casting isn’t new, however. This seems to just feel old. A dispel magic incantation won’t manage to suppress the field or the wards for long. We’re on a timer.”
Imani nods her fuzzy head and flashes a sharp-clawed thumbs up in Mat's general direction. With a gesture, her phantasmal chains affix themselves to Sarai's neck (and to Oz's if he isn't able to hide himself/transform). "Just walk ahead of me," she growls. "And keep your eyes and ears open."
She ties the bag of Virgil stones to her waist, where it melds into her illusion. Wish you could lend us a hand, frog.
Sarai is about as fond of this idea as a Wookiee, but she obediently holsters her gun and walks forward. "I trust those of you with supernatural powers are walking ahead, so the mortals don't trigger whatever traps there are?"
