Yaro continues to wade forward towards the undead gnolls, drawing his warhammer and shield as he makes his way into the fray. With lightning beginning to crackle across his shell, he brings the hammer to bear at gnoll 9. He then hunkers down, preparing for the upcoming onslaught.
Moving to G12 Warhammer Attack: 17 Damage: 10 Bludgeoning Damage
Brozak's swing smashes through the gnoll's bony snout, caving in the eye sockets as it tumbles into the undergrowth and lay still.
As Yaro's warhammer destroys the skeleton in front of him, two more shamble and rattle towards him, maneuvering themselves to attack from each side. One of them attempts to smash its club into his chest and snaps at his face, whilst the other beats at his shell and tries to reach over the crest of it with its snapping jaws.
Enemy (6) Club Attack vs. Yaro: 17 Damage: 4 bludgeoning
Enemy (6) BIte Attack vs. Yaro: 21 Damage: 4 piercing
Enemy (5) Club Attack vs. Yaro: 20 Damage: 6 bludgeoning
Enemy (5) BIte Attack vs. Yaro: 20 Damage: 5 piercing
The two remaining witherlings ravenously close in on Ebokk and try to tear through his breastplate and rip apart his dwarven flesh with their fangs and spiked weapons.
Enemy (7) Club Attack vs. Ebokk: 8 Damage: 6 bludgeoning
Enemy (7) BIte Attack vs. Ebokk: 13 Damage: 3 piercing
Enemy (8) Club Attack vs. Ebokk: 22 Damage: 3 bludgeoning
Enemy (8) BIte Attack vs. Ebokk: 5 Damage: 3 piercing
The dwarf deftly beats back the onslaught with his shield, but a stray glancing blow of the club manages to catch his cheek, drawing blood and tugging a tuft of beard away. Yaro succumbs to the relentless howling, laughing, hammering and biting of the undead gnolls; falling to the ground as the final hit strikes him across his scaly head.
Order of Initiative: Yaro, Ebokk, Brozak, Enemies, Zagrot, Abner, Red, Therne.
[OoC]: I'm certain Yaro doesn't have any reactions that can save him from going down unconscious, but he can use 'Wrath of the Storm' on one of the earlier attacks if you want, and I'll edit the post to include it.
Zagrot watches as two gnolls advance on Yaro to avenge their fallen pack-mate. The orc shouts a sharp warning and moves to help, but before he makes it halfway, the tortle is surrounded and beat down.
Pausing, Zagrot glances towards Red, then back to the two ghastly creatures snarling and dancing over their victim. With a terrific scream, he raises his crowbar above his head and charges, attempting to crush the head of the nearest gnoll. He then squares up to the threat, keeping his back to the bard, and waves his shield at his bony opponents.
“Stupid gnolls! You fight orc! You see I!”
OOC
Zagrot will use his bonus action to trigger Rage, move to i-13, and attack gnoll 5.
As the first gnoll makes contact with his attack, an arc of lightning is channeled from the Cleric's shell through gnoll 6. Finding himself surrounded by undeath he closes his eyes, whispering a silent prayer to Valkur.
Wrath of the Storm with Channel Divinity: Destructive Wrath to deal 16 Lightning damage to gnoll 6.
((OOC: depending on how you rule, I think a max damage wrath of the storm should kill the first gnoll attacker, which would at least not give the second attacker advantage, but it looks like gnoll 5's first rolls were the good ones with advantage. Oh well.))
The lightning streaming and crackling from Yaro's shell manages to strike one of the witherlings in the sternum as he falls to the ground, exploding its entire ribcage and blasting the creature backwards into a pile of bones.
[OoC]: Enemy (6) killed by Yaro's reaction.

Yaro is suddenly awoken by Red's healing magic and in almost the same instant, one of his attackers' heads explodes in arcane fire as the sound of a cackle echoes from its skull.
[OoC]: Yaro back up (still prone) on 4hp and Enemy 5 dead.

Drawn to an even higher mania from the success of his first attack, Abner, with both hands held high in the air and a huge open grin, sprints to k6 and blasts #8 and #7 with another Burning Hands 7 fire damage (on a failed DC 13 Dex save.)
He tries to carefully angle his spell to avoid singeing Ebokk or Therne. He squeals all the while, sounding something like a smothered teakettle. "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhheeee!"
As the half-elf runs up with pyromania on his mind, he unleashes inferno towards the gnolls, both of which manage to duck aside quick enough to avoid the worst of the flame. The heat of the flames is too intense for the old hut, and the south-east corner suddenly alights in sorcerer fire.

*Abner, you better be able to put that out!* Therne shouts, as much as one can shout telepathically. She circles round the other side of gnoll 7 before Ebokk can be flanked as well, though she’s careful not to get too close to the now burning hut before attacking.
Suddenly returning to consciousness, Yaro takes a sharp breath and winces in pain as the air fills his lungs behind what feels clearly like a broken rib. Slowly rising to his feet, surveying the scene, he stows his warhammer. Thrusting his claw towards the remaining gnoll, and carving and unseen symbol through the wind, he utters,
"The scent of undeath shall foul the winds no more, be gone with you."
Casting Sacred Flame at the remaining creature. 2 radiant damage on failed DC13 DEX save.
The final gnoll is lit up in radiant flame, melting through the axial skeleton and finishing the creature off completely. The enemies are destroyed, but the hut has caught fire - if that's something you wish to deal with.
[OoC]: We can leave initiative order now. This will by last post until tomorrow. Ebokk lost 3hp that fight in case anybody wants to heal him (he doesn't look too bad though). Bless is still up for another 42 seconds.
Zagrot catches his breath, self-consciously wiping spittle from his chin. He puts away his crowbar and claps Red on the back, offering a tight-lipped grin. "Game is no more to play if other-landers fall down. Is work if then. Anyway, magic is no good gnoll kill. It no make gnoll count big. Is too easy. Is game for weapon to play only!"
He pops a piece of wood into his mouth and begins chewing as he stares vacantly at the fire. "Humph. I want we take sand-animals to be lunch when we come. We if-cook them now."
Dismayed, he trudges over to look for his javelin amongst the re-dead gnolls.

Yaro smiles faintly at the orc as he limps back to the group. "You use your gifts and I shall use mine."
His attention turns to the hut beginning to be consumed by flame, "I am not prepared to fight a blaze such as this today. Though, perhaps if Abner continues his fire-loving tendency, I will make sure to add a solution to my nightly meditation."
He grimaces as he scours the area for something to help the group get the fire under control, silently asking Valkur for Guidance. Investigation: 8
