Yaro relays the message before diving back towards the glint he saw in the water. As he sees Therne working on the chest, he motions towards the chest and then towards the surface, hoping the druid understands his meaning.

Abner
How much of the stern is above the water line? Are there any openings? Cracks, even? Abner explores what he can above the water line, and looks for a crack/hole/opening to peer into.
Yaro relays his warning to the party members up on the surface of the water who have begun to swim.
The tortle and the tiger descend to the chest, warily avoiding the sharks. As Therne paws open the top of the chest, the balance of the container shifts slightly and throws up a large cloud of dust around the area, as well as a couple of huge bubbles from the air trapped within. As the sediment clears, the two see that the chest is full of silver bars, the length of a man's forearm. The bars each look to weigh 5 lbs. and there appear to be ten of them stacked neatly within. The chest itself is iron banded oak, and appears to be difficult to move in its own right. Yaro struggles to move the chest even a couple of inches from the seabed.
As the cleric tackles the problem of moving the treasure, Therne notices that the three sharks have taken an interest in the duo, and their lazy circling appears to have been replaced by the unmistakable movements of animals hunting.

[OoC]: Only four ft. of the stern pokes out. There don't appear to be any cracks on the surface, but through the slight gaps in the warped wood Abner can see that the interior of the ship is empty save for barnacles and fish.

Red's tail is atwitch, eyes moving from the wreck to his comrades and around, clearly wondering if Zagrot is getting ready to follow Abner.
I dislike the thought of a fight underwater. Mighty Zagrot, maybe, with your quick spear, could do well - but you Brother Brozak, your chainmail is not the best swimming costume. I could maybe whisper at a shark, that is about it. Being atop that hulk doesn't seem much better than being here, but I feel pretty helpless to help. Let me see if I can see anything.
Red will wade out just a couple feet and duck under to see if darkvision is any use at sizing up what is happening, immediately popping up to tell what he sees - how far off is the action?

*The sharks appear to have noticed us,* Therne points out. *And these appear to be too heavy to move without aid. If we leave the ropes in place, we should be able to come back for the silver, but carrying it now would be burdensome. We should go.*
Abner sticks a dagger through the gaps in the wood, and tries to pry some of the old planks apart. He hopes to gain access to the interior of the stern, and then maybe attempt to dive down from within, if possible. He glances back at the beach, wishing he had that crowbar right about now.

Yaro nods towards the tiger as he works his way towards the surface. As his head breaks the water, he tells anyone he sees "I think it is best that we avoid the water at the moment, the sharks have our scent."
Abner manages to crack open a couple of boards and slides himself into the interior of the wreck, holding his breath as he submerges. With his darkvision, he can see towards the bow where a few large spears of rock have shattered the hull. The holes in the far end of the ship are much closer to the seabed, but are also large enough for the sharks to enter.
Meanwhile, Therne and Yaro break the surface as they see the half-elf wriggle his way into the wreck.
Ebokk turns to the others on the shore, "I don't enjoy the thought of our sorcerer friend alone with a pack of hungry sharks." He shifts uncomfortably and adds, "Perhaps we should search inland before we scavenge beneath the waves."

Yes, let us get our people ashore. I had hopes of clue-finding for this shipwreck. Hopes as dashed as this shipwreck. And nothing meaningful in the camp. A tentacled box, and an undead Pirate Flindbar, I'd wager, to find before we find the Lockforge Heirloom. And seeing yonder flag, I wonder if we should not have left that ratty waterskin behind? Where else to look? That southwestern massif, or the central highlands, perhaps?
Ahoy Fellow Odd Fellows! We think you should come back!
Red will stay in the water, about waist-deep, hopefully to be of some use helping folks ashore, or stabbing pursuing sharks if needed.

Abner
Without diving deeply, Abner will take one last quick look around from above, underwater, with his darkvision, to see if there's anything else of interest - any remaining cargo, equipment, or other small artifacts to be salvaged?
Perception: 5
Otherwise, he'll soon squeeze back outside. Then, with a big shrug, he'll follow the line back to shore (peeking occasionally under the surface to see if he can spy where the others went.)
Therne sees Abner heading back to shore. *Oh, I thought we would go to the ship and investigate the above-water parts and wait for the sharks to forget about us.* (She says this just to Yaro, not wanting to give Abner ideas.)
"I suppose that makes sense as long as we're here. We should make our search quick, I would prefer not to trust the deck of this ship to protect me from the sharks for long."
Yaro will make a brief pass of the above-water sections of the ship before attempting to depart back to shore, doing his best to avoid the ire of the sharks.
