" Arrows. I hate their fekin arrows. And that Waterboy was fast. Way too fast. " The druid-monk seems to hesitate before looking at Ranari straight in the eyes, as he scratches around his fresh scar mournfully, his rugged brow creasing into a discontended frown: " I'll need to train more. A lot more. Not good enough. Too slow. "
He then contents himself with inspecting his wooden staff, turning the thing in his ham-sized hands as if the answer to his training troubles lay engraved into the gnarled wood.

River - after remaining uncharacteristically quiet for the duration of the meeting thus far - abruptly rises from where she was sitting and exits the room, cooing softly to herself.
Druhdaar takes a few lumbering, slow steps to Vishal. He then stands awkwardly by the kalashtar's side, and cracks a buck-toothed, crooked smile as he slaps him on the butt cheek.
" You go get them... boy ! "
As he attempts to wink, no-one is quite sure if the druid is actually good-humored, or maybe trying to scare out a stray fly that landed on his upper eyebrow.

Vishal jumps some from the butt slap, not expecting it. As he turns and sees the wink and smile Vishal isn’t sure how to feel. He was angry at the Druid for what he said to Taran but seeing the his earlier attempts at loosening the Druid up seems to be working. Taking a deep breath and, in an even tone says, “Druhdaar. I need to talk to you. So don’t go anywhere when this is over.”
Druhdaar looks down at Vishal with an inscrutable expression:
" Say what you gotta say, dancing man. I'm here right now. "
His green eyes bear down on the sword-dancer with a cold, dead-pan glare as both his arms dangle relaxedly by his sides, the staff now hanging limply towards the floor. The only sign revealing tension is a small vein throbbing rhythmically by the side of his neck.

Druhdaar shrugs, his eyes staying on Vishal's for a few lingering seconds before he finally turns to Ranari with a small acknowledging bow:
" Sure thing. What do we do now ? "

"River's fine, just running an...urgent errand. Now, your next mission. You did quite well on this one, so we're giving a...not exactly harder, but more complicated one. One of our patrols recently went silent near Kintam Ulakhun, the fortress controlled by Lord Sulatesh." Her face is grim. "It happened about two days ago. We're giving them time in case they just had to go silent to stay incognito in enemy territory, but if they don't return in a week, we're sending you after them. If they've been captured by Lord Sulatesh, we need you to break into his Kintam and rescue them...or release their souls, if that is your only recourse. You'll be in enemy territory looking for the guides. If it turns out you have to break into the fortress, I would suggest looking for malcontents among his soldiers to help. Sulatesh's practice of torture disturbs some of his soldier, and a few of them aren't reassured by his explanation that it's necessary. Once you've found the guides and removed them from Sulatesh's grasp, go to Kaashta Keep. I assume you have questions. Fire away."
Lore:
LORD SULATESH: The du'ulora champion Lord Sulatesh commands Kintam Ulakhun, the great fortress that watches Kaashta Keep from the edge of Syrkarn. Sulatesh has commanded this front since the war began—he was present at the first disastrous siege of Kaashta, and he still thirsts for vengeance. Sulatesh is a cruel being who takes great pleasure in torturing his foes, both on the battlefield and in his dungeons. The kalashtar and agents of the Summit Road who fall into his hands suffer for weeks before being allowed to die. While the tortures Sulatesh devises are horrifying, this obsession could provide the time rescuers need to liberate a prisoner, or it could give prisoners time to devise a plan of escape. Although cruel to his foes, Sulatesh treats his troops well and is loved by his soldiers. Many are disturbed by the practice of torture, but most accept their lord's explanation that it is a necessary tool to purge the prisoners of the altavars that possess them.
Kintam Ulakhun: Kintam Ulakhun is a massive fortress that houses a large contingent of the Harmonious Shield. The fortress is in charge of watching Kaashta Keep, the unofficial capital of Adar. Its name, Ulakhun, is derived from one of the thirteen kalaraq quori. Ulakhun led the attack on Kaashta Keep over a thousand years ago, but the events surrounding Taratai's sacrifice caused him to be bound in a gem that still resides in the Keep's vaults.
" This is messy business. That Sulatesh is a sick ****. "
He clears his throat before adding, eyeing Ranari: " Beggin' pardon: a disturbing character, and a dangerous one. "
