Tiem shrugs. "Like I said already, the fact that you were able to trigger Likashtai's message is certainly a point in your favor, but it's not like it's impossible to fake kalashtar powers, and the names of the rebels aren't exactly obscure pieces of lore. I'm not being anti-trusting. I'm just not trusting you on sight, something I'm sure you're extending to me. But I've made it clear I'm willing to work with you and ally. It's hardly the first Road alliance that doesn't have the benefit of complete trust."
"Alright that's concerning. A lot concerning" Juhaan adds. "If we put all the pieces together there might be something larger in the picture we're not seeing. This abduction might have ulterior motives and indeed he might have a mole" Juhaan paces for a while nervous "I think the higher-ups need to be aware of this! But at the same our original missions needs to keep on, their lives depend on us" he picks his backpack and turns to the other "I think the best of course of action is for to return to the monastery and report this findings to those in command. You guys continue and rescue those poor soldiers. If anyone has any message they would like to convey to the Summit Road, give it now and I'll deliver it for you."
Tiem nods. "That is a course I can agree with. Before this happened, we had amassed some information on soldiers under Sulatesh who we thought we could turn. I am happy to give you that information. However, first we should decide if we are following the sled's tracks or going straight there. I can bring you up to speed on the soldiers on the way, either way."
Taran nods in agreement. "Th-they likely w-went to the K-Kintam, b-but m-maybe not. S-Safest to f-follow tr-tracks. I-I'll lead, i-in c-case they s-set up an ambush a-along the w-way."
He begins gathering the usable supplies from the camp, as well as any personal affects of the missing Guides.

Taran tracks the sled through the woods. For over an hour, you follow the tracks, until you come across an area where the tracks cross and some kind of conflict clearly occurred. A pair of tracks diverges from the others here, crossing over one another. You will now have to decide if you want to pause to follow the diverging tracks or continue on the sled's trail without turning aside.
Taran leaves a trail sign for the others, and begins following the second set of footprints, wondering if someone was able to free one of the guides in a struggle with the Riedrans.
You all notice a single set of tracks pick up at the mouth of a cave nearby, noticeable because there are a couple iterations of the same tracks. They look like someone tried to cover them poorly.
Taran literally squelches through mud with his every step, apparently managing to find every stick he can possibly break. However, he does spot something in the darkness.
Taran:
A woman is slumped against the cave wall several yards back. She looks weak and pale, her clothes drenched in blood both fresh and old around her midsection, but holds a dagger that she has in a ready position.
As he approaches the cave, a woman's voice echoes out from it, weak but determined. "Stay...the Khyber...away..."
Tiem frowns. "Sounds like Liira," he murmurs to you all. "But voice copying is hardly difficult. It may be a trap."

Vishal sighs and says, “Would knowing I’m a kashtar, seeing my psychic powers and name of my spirit help you stop being so anti trusting?”
Tiem shrugs. "They are *crr* Taken. *crr* Time is ticking."
She picks up her gear and puts the shiny stone in her bag of holding.
"Rescue."

After gathering the remains of the tent, Taran led the way in following the tracks of the sled.

Caelius, seeing everyone move defensively and Taran speak to someone in the cave moves next to him to see what all the commotion is about.
