Alynoa smiles at the women, "I would accept, but I'm currently engaged in some investments that have left me almost penniless so you'll have to forgive me." She turns to Salazar, "My contact is someone you'll have to meet in a bit, I'm afriad that I'll have to go collect them."
"Wise man your uh.. friend was it? You seem to be rather upstanding and I have a bit of a soft spot for entrepreneurs. I will take this potion off of your hands. May these coins help speed your success in Neverwinter." Lark will pass the 22 gold to the spokeswoman of the group. "Are you aware of the Orcs troubling travelers around Wyverns Tor?"
He will pack the potion away for later investigation.

She would look at him, pressing a finger to her lip, revealing her face. She was comely. Not very pretty but not below average. Brown hair tinged out. She seemed to be the spokesman for the group as the rest more or less nodded along or watched. perhaps they were apprentices of an apprentice? Or perhaps they were her masters watching her progress? After licking her lips, which seemed slightly chapped she would look to Lark with an apologetic expression and shake her head I've seen the posters around town...... but i don't know anything about it personally. I try to avoid danger as much as possible.... She says even as she takes the gold, in exchange for the vial of Potion -1 (just put it in your inventory, and roll it as a -1 potion when you consume it!) and she hands you an extra vial, though this one is corked, and empty.
She smiles, despite herself and pats the bard on the shoulder. T-thank you... you were my very first customer..... And tell whomever your master is, I am pleased with how they raised you. You're clearly a very special person. she emphasizes it with a kiss in the cheek before adding Sadly, that is the only potion we had in stock... and we're out... We had intended to collect ingredients in the nearby forest... but it seems it .. uh.. caught fire... but if we ever see you again, I'll make sure to hold back 3 potions, just for you! though I'll still have to charge! Wish us luck in Neverwinter friend! But I'm afraid myself, and my companions are starved and our food is on the way... As if speaking of Asmodeus himself, a barmaid brings several mugs of water, followed by another with several trays of food. You hadn't noticed them order.
Larks bows in thanks, bids them well, and leaves them to their meal.
Returning to our table, Lark stretches and yawns. "Master Salazar, they present themselves as freshly minted merchants. Home made goods, not much inventory, but friendly none-the-less. They were unarmed and did not seem to be hiding armor beneath their cloaks. We are most likely to find neither a threat or an ally in them."
(OOC: I am ready to go. I think a night excursion to the Manor was the next move. Will wait for party agreement)
Salazar furrows his brows at Alynoa's news, then glances outside the window. "Afraid it may be far too late for that." He said, casually gesturing to a nearby window to show the dusk had already fallen at this point. Thus distracted, he starts at Lark's yawn, but promptly pushes aside any embarrassment in hearing the news. "I see! Glad it was only paranoia, and not something far more concerning then. Good work, Lark." He reaches over to pat the goblin on the shoulder.
"We should all get going now. Lady Alnoya? If this contact of yours can be 'seen to' on the way to the Manor, then a brief stop is fine. But anything more.."He trails off there, giving her a meaningful look. Afterwards, he downs whatever remains of his water to lead the proverbial charge to the Manor. He avoids the main road as much as possible on the way out as per the plan, and trust the others to do the same. But at the same time, he tries to be casual about it as much as was reasonable.

Lark- Goblin Bard 2- Lost Mines Gr-A/ AC 13 HP 15, passive perception 11
((OOC Um, i'm not really sure what to make of that Alyn, but I'll try..))
Alynoa moves to a quiet corner of the room to do.. something. Just as Salazar, and Lark, get up and begin to leave, I assume ((OOC -since no one has posted anything else for me to go on ><)) and begin heading up towards the large manor on the hill. Making their way through town...
From here, the manor was ringed in moonlight, but hidden enough that the place seemed to have a massive Halo. The snow had fallen again while you were all inside, blanketing the ground with it, making every footstep crunch underneath your weight. The soft illumination from the moon, making dim light everywhere. The night was much colder than you all expected, and frostbite likely, as your fingers are starting to go numb after only a few minutes outside. The group of minted merchants choosing the better part of valor and staying inside for the night.
As you make your way to the manor, along the cold road, you pass the Sleeping Giant, it looks like a rundown taphouse, and several people are sitting just outside of it. Talking amongst themselves. They haven't noticed you yet.
"People's" Perception DC: 6
What happens next is dependent on the groups actions.
(OOC: I am posting this now because I will be in Cape Cod for a few days and AFK. But sequentially have it take place after Alys reveal.)
"Colder than white dragons breath out here," Lark grumbles, muttering under his breath, "Wonderful night for a fireside tome, yet it finds us damp and shivering under Selune's light." He tucks his hands into his armpits and shivers while trudging along. Lark turns to the group, "May I suggest we hurry on the side of caution?"
Upon spying the people ahead loitering outside of the Sleeping Giant, Lark will quietly say, "I feel like being seen would not be to our benefit. We don't know where people's fear or allegiances drive them." Stealth roll if that route is decided:

(To Rai: I was honestly waiting for a bit more from Aly, and half-expected her to have gone to PMs with you on the subject. ._.; If possible, assume this post is after the big reveal)
"T'was the idea, Lark." He whispers back before turning up his hood, and making to follow in the lead, circumventing any eyes. If at all possible, he double backs a short ways to make use of the trees and houses as cover for the group across the road, teeth clenched tight from every crunch of snow. Only once they were safely pass and WELL out of earshot the group does he let out a sigh of relief. "There. That's better. Oh my. This is all going to be a lot more tense than I thought. But, we must keep going."He says as he continues on to the manor.
(I hope she's OK but I also can't continue waiting much longer >< for the sake of the other two players. However, it seems this was the last place she posted before vanishing so not sure what to make of that)
Aylnoa whispers a few arcane words and follows the party out, her appearance changing to that of a young man wearing fine clothes, "I was under the impression that you wanted to speak to me?"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
If we pass unnoticed by the group outside of the Giant, Lark will engage the "new guy."

Lark will stare idly at the moon. After some minutes, he begins to whisper just under his breath. "Art thou pale for weariness, climbing heaven and gazing on Toril? Wandering lonesome among the stars that have a different birth; And ever changing, like a joyless eye that finds no object worth it constancy?"
Lark will take cover behind one of the trunks among the treeline surrounding the manors property. He squints into the night trying to see anything immediately out of the ordinary. 20 He turns to the group, and quietly says, "I am opening the discussion for ideas. I'll admit I am again a bit out of my element here."
Alynoa smiles at the women, "I would accept, but I'm currently engaged in some investments that have left me almost penniless so you'll have to forgive me." She turns to Salazar, "My contact is someone you'll have to meet in a bit, I'm afriad that I'll have to go collect them."
