(I was gonna say replace for after/during if there is a convient moment for such, but bacon is back! That said, if you wanted to recruit a 4th, I would not be against it. >.>)
(Speaking of which, welcome back Bacon. After reading back, you got anything you wish to add/change since the latest update, or things fine as-is?)
(To: Ianth - I'm all for making the beeline, but we're uncertain about the prison cell location. But if Lark and Aly want to start from the top and work their way down, I'm totally fine with it.)
Salazar would search the table with all the alchemist devices in hopes of at least finding a potentially finished result of one of Iarno's experiments set aside among them. Although judging by the gleam in the cleric's eyes as he searched, the temptation to study it all more and in detail gnawed at him. A growing obsession that Oghma helped little, and if anything only subtly guidance during the investigation.
As if sensing an eagerness to move on at least from Alynoa, the scholar pushes back curiosity and regards the two. "Forward, then, I take it? To the next closest room? At the very least to see if we might "recruit" one on patrol or what-have-you to show the way to the cells. Perhaps, let us see... perhaps involving some social test?" Salazar shrugs helplessly, but would remain ready to follow the Iarno's to the next area.
Unfortunately, all Salazar finds are several, clearly failed attempts at alchemy. It seems Iarno hadn't quite cracked the 'code' yet. Though there are, as stated before, many, many texts on alchemical properties and creation you can take. You find at-least 3 that seem to be suited to your interests. However, the majority of the books are about 'invisibility'
Lark will approach the door to the south in the room. Still imitating Iarno's voice"Remember to act like we belong here." He opens the door gently, and gestures to the group.
Once in the hallway, Lark will avoid the door opposite, and head for the stairs. He makes it halfway up before pausing to look at the group. If no one makes for the door, Lark continues up the stairs and cautiously peers around corners as he navigates the twists.

Lark- Goblin Bard 2- Lost Mines Gr-A/ AC 13 HP 15, passive perception 11
Making their way up the stairs, Larkarno eventually comes to what appears to be the central hallway. A massive crevasse splits one side from the other. Directly in front of you is a small rope bridge, with wooden planks at the base. A similar one is found farther south. Two massive pillars, that likely support the roof of the large hill above. Across the rope bridge, a single redbrand is sitting, enjoying some food by himself, leaning against the opposite wall. He seems to notice you but pays you little mind.
Aside from adjusting his pack after having absconded with the books, Salazar was content to follow the others leads. Which is why they got to the rope bridge and the redbrand on duty, he merely glanced at the others to see if they might have something to pass along, or alter plans. Being a 'recruit", he otherwise doesn't try very hard not to look at least a little nervous and curious about the surroundings. Although all it takes is a "glare" from either Iarnos to have him immediately snap his focus back on the present path.
Ultimately, this was his new compatriots show now...
Lark will pointedly ignore the man taking his meal on the other side of the crevasse. He turns to the right and begins making his way south to the second rope bridge. Lark is constantly scanning the room for any indication of the direction of cells. 3 If nothing makes itself known, Lark will cross the southern rope bridge and head toward the hallway to the south west.

Larkarno makes his way, unperturbed down the western half of the crevasse, walking just past a large, but partially destroyed pillar, clearly meant to hold the 'roof' of the complex up. Unable to spot any indicators of exactly where the cell might be. To his right, he'd see an area that clearly led to stairs leading down to some unknown area, but choosing to ignore it. Larkarno begins to make his way across the 10 foot bridge, when he feels something brushing against his mind..... (Larkano Vs ??? 21 - - - 10)
The presence seems to brush over the surface of his mind, but cannot penetrate any deeper. A deep, but whispering voice echoes through Larkarno's head, as well as the rest of the group.
Mmmmmmm~ Iarno....... Glasstaff....... Whyyyyyy are there two of youuuuu? And this one? I have never seen them beforeeeeee. Why have you left your studyyyyyy ~ have you broken through on your spelllllllll? Or isssss .. urgent business afooooooot? even as the mind speaks within your heads, Larkarno can feel a soft swaying of the bridge, as if some creature is hanging from it... from the underside.

Lark will attempt to telepathically talk to the voice in his head. "No, no break through. A setback actually, one that proved to be advantageous. The spell failed but conjured a copy of me, completely corporeal. Two heads are better than one, and two of mine are the best. This is a new recruit, I took special interest in him due to his unique nature. We are going to collect the farm boy, the new guy will bear witness to the glory of the Morninglord."

Salazar keeps to a respectful distance behind the new master. If he however notices Larkarno slow or stop for any reason, he would "hesitantly" step up closer and regard him, but not convey little more than concerned glance in his direction, followed by one to the greater area about the bridge.
Whether something pique his interest or not, a certain antsyness pervades the air about scholar. One that wouldn't abate until they were at least across the bridge and on relate safety. But he wouldn't press the Larnarko.

Once well away from the bridge, Lark will mention the mental intrusion.
"That was close. Iarno has a pact with some sort of telepathic beast. It probed my mind and I almost lost the contest."
To Alynoa's comment, "Either that or I've led us to a dead end, I'll admit I do not know where I am going. We could go back, I saw a passage on the other side of the bridge."
