(Since I know ya, Rai *eyes suspiciously*, I'm not sure it's been said Lark took the keys to any shackles. But for the sake of brevity if they are any to worry about, can it be said he demanded for those before leaving to avoid pedantics?)
Salazar is silent, and not to mention very much invisible for at least the time being. Now that they were in the water cistern room, the feeling of having overlooked something having warranted a closer look at the room. Perhaps there was a person or sensor missed? Or even some door too shadowed in an archway to catch at a glance? If its the latter, he whispers a sharp "Keep it down, a second" before taking out his mace. After a moment or two of at least keeping a close ear out for a change(Perception: 6(PP: 14)) he sighs, but keeps the mace ready just in case.
"Not to be a captain of the potential obvious, Mister Lark. But I believe one of the boys might just be Quellin's?"At that, he turns to them, noting perhaps for the first time if one is a gnome like Quellin. "And you the town master's wife?" He turns to the only adult woman in the bunch, but would keep his distance while speaking even at a more down-to-earth tone. "It would be fortunate if all the brands are here tonight. But as it stands, we cannot escort them back, and not expect our rouse to be undone by the time we're back. If we can find someplace safe inside here for now -- some place they won't immediately check, and can be secured, our friends here should stay there for now and keep quiet."
Salazar looks to the others, but remember he was still invisible for maybe an hour(less so by now), he sighs and goes on, "Meanwhile, we need to capture or... kill the rest here. Quietly, if we can. With most or even half their forces here depleted, organizing the town to deal with the rest will be much easier and a lot less dangerous. At least... are you two up for it?"He asks the rest of the party.
The women shaking, and the boys generally afraid but too silent to word it as they're led out, seeing the shattered skeletons causing one of them to quiver in his voice. But all of them submissively follow the group, fearing more what would happen to them if they didn't listen. As Lark begins to speak, everyone but the woman look up to him with confused, glances, but still dare not meet his eye. More puzzlement as Lark introduces three people, when they can only see two. However as they are told that 'the monster' is dead, they visibly relax just a bit, as they aren't sure if Larkarno meant the horrid flesh eating creature, or if he meant the evil man but it didn't matter, Hope began to flicker in their eyes.. atleast until Alynoa hissed, Cowing them back into submission.
After a moment though, they go back to normal, and the woman, takes the waterskin, chugging from it as if her life depended on it. And after a breif quaff, she would breathe heavily, but relieved. Just as she was about to begin talking, or asking questions in kind, Lark mentions Harbin, and her head shoots up Yes... Yes.. that's me.... I'm Mrs. Harbin... did he finally send someone? Not that it matters now.. I have already been... the woman slumps, her head hanging low, as she remembers everything that's happened to her while she's been here. One of the boys lights up at hearing the other name mentioned Y-Yes, I'm Carp Sir! Carp Alderleaf! Somehow you hadn't noticed it before, having assumed it was just a tiny human, but upon closr inspection, you realize this boy is the gnome son of the farmer, more due to his revelation than anything else.
Salazar has a creeping suspicion about keys but then remembers the shackles and such were attached to the walls, so there are no bindings on the prisoners right now.
And my name is Nilsa, and this is Nars... My little brother... Our parents were captured along with us..... but.. they fed them to that monster in the big hole.... and made us watch..... Please.. Just get us out of here.... Nilsa beign a human girl of 18, while her brother, seemed to barely be the age of 7. They were intending to sell all of us into slav--
Just as she was about to finish her sentence, a door opens on the side of the cistern that was partially hidden by supplies. Two redbrands make their way out, looking frustrated, and curious. Oi, wuts all the noise out here. We're tryin' ta sleep! O-Oh! It's you sir!.... two of you? With all the prisoners? the redbrands share a confused glance. Lark has 60 seconds left on Disguise, Alynoa has 90.
"You see," Alynoa steps foreward, "we're taking them for experimentation," choosing her next words very carefully, Alynoa snaps her fingers at the two redbrands. "So either return to your beds and try to disguise the fact you're sleeping when others are working or make yourselves useful."
(Attempting to recast disguise self to keep the disguise up)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Lark sees the somatic hand signs of Alynoa's spell. Hoping to distract the redbrands from doing the same Lark approaches the guards with his hands empty and open towards them.
Mimicking a goblins usually gruff, clipped common Lark says, while slapping his chest softly, "Not Glasstaff. Am Decoy." The air around Iarno's face distorts, as if by heat, and the shape beyond shrinks. When the airs clears, Lark is standing in all his goblin glory, still holding the hands open stance. "Am Crunch, Glasstaff there." Lark points to Alynoa's and her fresh Iarno paint job.
Already well and truly riled by the information, Salazar did not start at the noise, but instead turned around with a look boarding on the same one given to Glasstaff before a touch brought a swift end to the man. Yet, just as the mace began to rise in readiness to smash in the face of the first redbrand to step into reach, he hesitates at his compatriots words. Unbeknownst to all, a silent struggle takes place as scholar and angelic compulsion war within one man.
Sweat began to bead above the brow as things intensified Until finally, a compromise is reached by a readiness to strike with a handaxe -- throwing it even if not quite close enough to a redbrand, if need be -- instead if the ruse is seen through with lethal intent. Aside from this, he stays quiet and sidled off to the side to avoid anyone running the risk of bumping into him.

Both of the redbrands look at each-other a bit confusedly, as the illusion dissipates on Lark, enough so as to not notice the momentary shimmer of Alynoa's own. Though the redbrands head Salazars shifting, unable to spot anyone else in the room, they mentally shrug it off. While all this is going on, all of the prisoners look with utter fear at the two redbrands, clinging to each-other, not sure what to expect.. if the ruse was up... if they were going to go back to the cells... Ah, mage shit.... got it boss. Thats out of our pay league. So uh.. we'll leave you to it. But it would be nice if you'd tell us when the gobbies are about... because of.. well yeah.... not fair to surprise us. Either way, we were on our way to guard the entrance anyway. Relieve the last shift. We'll tell em to expect you if they pass ya. By the way sir... thanks for the help the other night! with that they both saluted, and headed out towards what appeared to be a wall, pressing something on the wall, and opening the door you had all had used to come in before.
Leaving you all alone there, atleast for a few minutes.
"Now to answer your question Master Salazar,"Lark says to the room, not really sure where he is at the moment, "I think yours is a jolly idea. I would rather not have to fight all of them at once."
Lark turns to Harbin's wife, "I can not imagine what you have been through master, but you have survived. Fear does not make you weak. There is strength is doing what you have to to survive. You need to be strong just a bit longer. Can you manage?" He turns to Carp, Nars, and Nilsa. "Your father has been worried about you Carp. Nilsa, Nars. You are not alone. You have each other still. Hang on."
"Where can we hide them? We could make a little fort out of supplies but it would take some time and it is too open here. They are about to change the guard, so it might be that they could sneak out during the shift. They would be distracted. What do you think (to the group)?"

"... did they just say goblins?" Alynoa says, keeping an eye out for more guards. "And why not just get them out, then come back here a tad more prepared. I don't have enough to keep this disguise up once the hour's up."
"Because it is as I said before, Lady Alynoa. We leave fully or take too long, and they /will/ discover the body. Especially after the whole ruckus with the skeleton, which we still know not the full results of that. And as Oghma as my witness, I would prefer not teasing the Lady Tymora or Beshaba any further than we have thus far on things staying quiet past this eve. Not if their being reinforced by goblins on top of everything." Salazar dares to say only after the guards are well away, and making sure the wall door used is closed after the redbrands.
Looking to the cowering ex-prisoners, the scholar lets out a breathe through his nose and looks around again for another exit, seeing as two now led ultimately to the cavern and one was effectively a dead end. He even goes so far as to head up the stairs and around any bend in a hurry to spy another one to at least try.
(Is this door not actually on the map/unexplored? Because you mentioned there being only one (now 2 discovered) others in the room. And depending on if it is there will change if Salazar might suggest taking it, and hoping its another entrance up to the Manor.)
But if unable to, he returns saying, "... Without establishing a new deal with the creature in the larger cavern, they'll have to hold up in the sleeping quarters over there. Seal it up good. For there's no telling what a few scared thoughts and a hungry mind reader might lead to; especially if it decides to 'alert' the other brands. It also... means ambushing the switch overs here, or are Iarno here "convincing" them to step out on a final errand in town tonight."He pauses for a moment to late it all sink in. "Either way, Ms. Harbin and the rest need to be out of sight. Immediately. We have perhaps a couple minutes, maybe even less to get them out of sight and in a position to keep our friends from running and alerting the others.
