We make our way back into the cave, dragging Klarg’s body behind us, to find Yeemik.
”Yeemik! We have completed our end of the bargain, now you complete yours: give us back the human who had the dwarven lover.”

You can't drown someone with Create Water. If your lungs are containers than your bones are objects. Any Siege monster that attacks you deals double damage because it’s attacking your bones.
Vimak slings Klarg's body to the floor in front of Yeemik. A long trail of bugbear blood follows his. He sits in front of the fire and eats a meal from his rations.
The problem of moving the goods without horses is on his mind. "How much do the goods weigh," he says. "Which city is closer?"
He assumes Cirrus will handle the continuing negotiations with Yeemik. He is pleased with their accomplishment. It was a challenge, but they over came it. Vimak eats, but he watches the goblins, his shield and ax close.
Yeemik seems shocked, surprised, and relieved all at once, after seeing Klargs body reduced to a corpse. The other goblins in the area cheer, and begin stabbing the corpse with glee. Yeemik was about to ask which human they wanted, when Cirrus called for the naked Sildar.
With some hesitation, but staying true to his word, Yeemik brings Sildar down. Dropping the man to the floor. After a moment, the other captive realizes what fate is about to befall him, and begins screaming and begging No, please, you can't leave me here. I'm sorry I stole the cart! I'm sorry! I was just tryin to feed me family! ten gold for a pauper is a kings ransom! Please, you have to help me! You beat the big guy right? You can take these guys?! Right?!
Yeemik, halfway up the rampway, and a few of the goblins in the area who understood common, looked at the party.
Vimak after pondering this for a while, realizes that the cart they had could at most, hold 400 LB's, and most of that was loaded, likely coming to about 300. And havign ran 60% of the way to Phandalin, that would make Phandalin the closest town.
Herman takes out one of his rations and begins munching on it while he stands around waiting for Sildar or Cirrus to decide on their next course of action.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
With Sildar now close to them, Cirrus points a finger gun at Sildar and murmurs,
“you ain’t never had a friend like me.” Casting healing word, healing for 3 hit points, taking Sildar from 1hit point to 4.
Cirrus does want to save this person’s life, but Cirrus himself has just barely survived a near-death experience, so he’s not willing to risk his life a second time after practically dying mere hours ago. In a very non threatening tone of voice, Cirrus asks Yeemik, “Yeemik, how willing would you be to let us leave with this other human as well?” Gesturing to the man chained to the wall.

Vimak takes another bite of his rations with his left hand. He has casually turned with his back toward the fireplace. No goblins behind him. His right hand lingers close to his ax. He'd like to perceive the locations of all the living goblins in the room, including Yeemik: 8
He's also looking for any of the gear the horses used to pull the wagon, the collars or yokes especially: 4
Yeemik looks at cirrus and shakes his head 'no' He ours. We claim him. He our food until we find more. We keep end of bargain already. he makes a shooing motion, as though the topic is settled. The goblins nearby relax again, going back to what they were doing.
It seemed the goblins would keep their word, so long as they weren't pressed for more.
Even if anyone took a thorough look, there were no cart-like supplies around. the goblins usually just hauled the items one by one or pulled the cart itself with Klargs help, after killing the steeds.
However, you call can, with two goliaths, easily use them as the horses instead, since the cart would be easy for two of them to move.
Herman feels a little bad for the thief but he's tired and hungry and saving a thief from being eaten as a consequence of his own actions isn't something Herman considers "his problem". The way he sees it, the universe is unfair and that's just how thing are. This thief is getting ****ed over by the universe and the gods and that's just how the world works. Herman is perfectly willing to not get involved and let the thief get eaten (yeah I think I see why the alignment test said Herman was Neutral Evil). He takes another bite of his rations and looks at the thief who is giving him the puppy dog eyes (not really but I thought it would be funny to write that). He looks at Cirrus who obviously wants to help the pathetic loser of a man. He sighs and asks the goblins in common, "How many of you is that guy going to feed and for how long?" He doesn't say this as a threat. He says this as a non-threatening question.
(OOC: I think this was discussed before but how many days till we get to Phandalin?)
Vimak feels like the honorable thing to do is keep their promise. They promised to bring the goods to Phandalin, so he is focused on that, even more than Sildar, and dramatically more than the thief.
"Cirrus," he says, "I can pull the cart to Phandalin. Gilari can help, if he wants." He says this, but he is still watching the goblins and listening to Herman.
OOC: This seems Lawful Neutral. Lawful Good would want the thief tried in court. Lawful Evil would want to join or run the goblin's ambushing organization. I've added the XP and leveled up during the rest.
(my question wasn't "Do we have enough XP to level up", I know we do. My question was more "when do you, the GM, allow the level up to happen" - cos if it's right now and Gilari feels refreshed, he will smash goblin face.
Clarity on these sort of things is always nice before the event.)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Vimak finishes eating a day's worth of rations. He says to Yeemik, "I will trade you these remaining rations for that thief," pointing to the man chained to the wall. "Plus, you should enjoy all the wolf meat and Klarg. Nothing tastes better than a former oppressor." He has (I think) about five days of food left and is trying to persuade, not intimidate or be provocative: 12
If the goblin says yes, Vimak leaves his rations, ties the thief to the wagon, and begins pulling it and the goods they promised to deliver to Phandalin.
If the goblin says no, Vimak leaves the cave and begins pulling the wagon and the goods to Phandalin.
Herman was also trying to trade some rations for the thief. If the Goblin refuses Vimak's initial offer, Herman will throw in 7 Days worth of rations into the deal as well.
Cirrus notices the efforts made by his party members, and deeply appreciates it.

(Sorry misunderstood and had to work 3 doubles the last few days so very very sorry guys, that and tuesdays is my real life DND with friends thus why no post yesterday)
Yeemik considers it for a moment, pacing around. He was clearly the smartest of the feral goblins but still not the smartest around. Five day. Allow us to hunt. You kill most of us, so he last longer. But then suddenly talk of rations get thrown in, Yeemiks mouth begins to water.... Vimak being so persuasive that the deal almost sounded too good.... Yeemik bites his lip. Saying Make 8 ration, and.. Yeemix will accept. You have... not been bad to us, like most, you not treat us as evil for try to survive...
Yeemik slowly paces his way up the natural ramp, an knocks the thief out. Unlocking him from the cuffs, and gives him to the party, unconscious. A little blood trickling down the mans head. Luckily, unlike Sildar, this man was clothed still. Vimak takes the Theif, Tying him to the wagon outside with his rope.
(I will be online all night, so post away and I will respond as fast as possible. Also yes, anytime I award EXP you may level up. I follow the FF15 level up in which whenever a long rest is taken, the sumtotal exp is divided and given out to the party, outside of milestone EXP which is always max. SO anytime i award exp.....
(you have to head back to the goblins, to finish the negotiations, my hands are tied until i see something actionable)

Herman will follow Cirrus. He is exhausted but he doesn't want Cirrus to get into trouble again.
