(OOC: I will just assume that Vimak noticed, since you made it kinda vague)
Cirrus will help Vimak make the posters. And while they are either unloading things at the luck shrine OR putting up posters, Vimak asks Cirrus about his reaction to the idea of finding Gundren. "Well, you see... If you had asked the Cirrus of just a week ago, he would say, 'yes! of course! This man is in danger we must go save him! It's the right thing to do!' but this Cirrus?" He points to himself for emphasis, "this Cirrus just got gored by a javelin. And as far as we know, Gundren is in that goblin castle. A goblin castle which probably has lots of bugbears just as strong as Klarg. Maybe even stronger!" Cirrus is visibly terrified, "I don't think I can bring myself to enter a place crawling with creatures who could easily tear me limb from limb, morals be damned!"

You can't drown someone with Create Water. If your lungs are containers than your bones are objects. Any Siege monster that attacks you deals double damage because it’s attacking your bones.
(OOC: Don't worry, Zulk, it's less of Herman's influence on Cirrus, and more of Klarg effortlessly impaling Cirrus, putting him on death's doorstep with a single action)

"Yes, Cirrus, Klarg was a challenge. What you experienced was painful. Fear can warn us, you are right. But remember also your allies. We brought you out of that darkness." Vimak turns the poster he is working on. He dips a quill in an ink pot. "I do not understand magic or song, but there are ways singers protect themselves, aren't there? Learn those ways! We can help you! Are there armors you can wear?"
More quietly, he says, "Sildar has been quiet about rescuing Gundren. He may have given up hope himself. Or fear we are not ready for the task. Patience. Do not let your fears rule you yet."
Vimak takes another page and begins drawing on it. "Herman, please do bring your friend over to meet us."
"Well, my leather armor is pretty lightweight, I don't know if I could carry anything heavier than that."

Elmar nods, hearing what you say with a curious look You have more than just the goods you came with? Bah, whatever, I can see what you're saying. Its against my morals to take that which wasn't mine, but that sounds like a splendid Idea, it's nice to see that not all adventurers are purely in it for themselves. But yes, the shrine is essentially the town center, so that is the best place to leave them. Though you may meet an elf lass there. Shes nice but always asking for help for some reason.
It is of no concern. You saved me afterall, I only wish I could give more, but the rest I used to regain some semblance of armor. Sadly, I cannot leave here. I have to stay, as my order demands, as much as it pains me. And I also have a friend who went missing first. Iarno. Once we are done here I would liek to discuss that at the Inn over some food. We all need rest. I can see that your plan has you excited, but, we should focus on our own tasks. I cannot pursue gundren myself, but I would appreciate it if you would search for him in my stead, as I am trapped here. Now that this is done, I have no hold or sway over what you do. I ask only that you hear me out. with that, Sildar would head to the inn, walking a bit raggedly but not enough to be concerned with. eventually making it around the corner.
To Gilari, Almar replies Unfortunately people rarely leave this town.. considering the tax... he sighs dejectedly So no, we have no such person to guide you, I'm sorry. You're essentially askign a village build on a formerly prosperous town if it leaves it's own borders, which is rare. I wish I coul help, but, I'm sure if you seek it, some information will come your way that may assist you. Perhaps even doing other tasks until some such person appears maybe? this IS a trading center afterall. And sadly no we're provisioners, not smiths. We have supplies for the road that most folk need. But no weapons to speak of. Pfhahaha despite himself and everything else, Elmar chuckled at Gilari's performance
(OOC: The statue is made of stone so ... tryign to use a spike to pin a note to it >.>))
Herman says, "Yeah, I think I should head to the inn to. I still haven't had my Elvish ale. See you guys around I guess." Herman then walks to the inn with Silder.
After Barthen gave his response, Vimak and Cirrus go to the shrine and put the crates and barrels near the shrine, and try to harmlessly stick the note somewhere near the containers without damaging the main shrine. They then have their talk (post #567, 570) and they make their way with the empty cart to the stonehill inn. On the way, Cirrus mentions to Vimak, "Well, it is unfortunate that no one on town could help--" (He stutters for a moment, unsure if he wants to say "us" or "you") "... aid in finding the goblin castle. However, I do have an idea that could help, I've never done it before, but it might be worth a try."
You can't drown someone with Create Water. If your lungs are containers than your bones are objects. Any Siege monster that attacks you deals double damage because it’s attacking your bones.
When the party enters the inn, they will see the woman Herman was talking about. A high elf woman with shoulder length blueish white hair sits at the bar, sipping on a glass of wine. She is wearing a long white sleeveless dress. The dress goes down to her calves. She wears sturdy wooden sandals. She has a belt around her waist which is holding a sheathed dagger. She has calm dark blue eyes. She is 5ft 6in and weighs 110 lbs. Next to her stool is a backpack with various adventuring gear and a long staff with a spellcasting focus attached to the top.
"Sildar, I'm happy to hear what you have to say," Vimak says. "I can share your words with my colleagues as well, if you'd like. We think Gundren is being held in Cragmar Castle. Where might your other friend, Iamo, be?"
"Cirrus, what do you have in mind?"
Vimak waits for Herman to introduce him to the high elf woman. He also catches the eye of a waiter. "I'd like one of everything on your menu, please," he says. "I'm very hungry."
Herman introduces the party to the witch. "Hey Bastille, crazy meeting you here. What are doing so far away from home?" Bastille responds, her voice is monotone and calm, "I've learned all I can in the forest and I was getting bored so now I am traveling the land looking for arcane tomes.""Great. So, I told a bunch of my colleagues about you and they wanted to meet you." Bastille gives a exaggerated laugh"Oh ho ho ho. I am sure they would be delighted. I am the great Witch Bastille after all."Herman doesn't seem to be very amused. "Anyway... these are the guys." He directs the witch's attention to you. "This is Cirrus, Gilari and Vimak. Guys, this is the Witch Bastille."
Cirrus whispers to Vimak, "I'll show you tomorrow." It would clearly be better to just say it now, but Cirrus has a penchant for dramatics.
Cirrus approaches the bar near Bastille and addresses the barkeep, "Excuse me barkeep, one elvish ale in your largest tankard please." He then turns to Herman and gives a thumbs up. He then speaks to Bastille, "So, you're a pursuer of knowledge it sounds like? What do you know about the other planes?"

The party saunters into the Inn, at this hour it's mostly empty aside fro ma few stragglers and drunkards. The elf Herman mentioned is here, as well as the Barkeep who's dutifully cleaning the dishes as best he can, but unlike in Neverwinter, there was no magic to be had, so the dishes looked more 'used' and a bit more phlegmy. Aside from that, the place looked pretty decent despite the rest of the town overall.
The smell of salted pork hung heavily in the air, and the few patrons that were about seemed to be minding their own business. A Gnome who looked like a farmer. A red headed elf, who looked like a preist, and seemed to be eating her meal dejectedly, as well as a half orc who seemed to be likely passing through. A well as the 'witch.'
It seemed like the food preparations were ending for the night. But as Vimak asked for 'everything' the innkeep says Hoi there, we can give ya whats left at a discount. Would rather it not go to waste t'know! 10 gold, and a small feast is yours! Oh, and call me Toblen! the food in the back would be the majority of a carved pig, a few random vegetables strung together into a soup broth, and many varied spices. Enough to fill atleast a table of 10.
7 gold if you clean up after yerselves! And do y'all need some rooms? We have three available, one with two beds! 2 gold each!
Whatever the party does in response, if the moneys paid the food is yours.
Sildar nods, saying Iarno was last seen in this town. He was a mage of a small rapport. And one day he just vanished. I was tasked with finding hm when Gundren approached me, asking for assistance. To which I agreed, but as he is captive, and my duty here, as you can see, I am trapped in that I cannot go anywhere before fulflling my duty. And after I find him I have to return to Waterdeep, whether he's alive or dead. So as much as it pains me to essentially abandon Gundren... I cannot abandon my duty even for a friend.
Ah yes sir, one elvish ale for ye! 4 gold for such a large order! Toblen says heartily, glad the end of his night was going to seem profitable.
She knows a little bit more than most but still only is scratching the surface. the Subject interests her, but shes painted too broad a stroke, so she knows the surface information, and maybe a few tidbits more on some topics.
Bastille says to Cirrus, "I know a bit about the other planes." She names the planes and some basic information about them but not much after that. She had already eaten at this point and was lazily enjoying her wine. "Yes, I guess you could call me a pursuer of knowledge."
Cirrus will chips in 5 gold to pay for the meat, he will feed some of the meat to his wolves, and he will eat a bowl or two of the vegetable soup. He will try to clean up after himself. He pays the 4 gold.
"Perhaps I should be more specific, do you know how one might travel from this plane to one of the elemental planes?"

Bastille gives Cirrus a puzzled look and says, "Why would you want to travel to a different plane? Either way, you're going to need high level spells for that. Something like Gate or Plane Shift. Planar portals got get you there as well though finding one will be difficult."
