Bastille whispers to the party after the new group goes into the house and the guards return playing, "So same plan? I restrain the guards with magic and you subdue them?" If the others agree to this, Bastille will cast Entangle(DC14 STR) on the guards such that if the party was to get into melee with them, they would not have to enter the area of the spell. If the others have a better plan, I will not cast the spell and just see what the better plan is.
Cirrus nods at Bastille to encourage her to entangle the guards, and he begins to look through his things, trying to think of some way to keep the guards from shouting.

You can't drown someone with Create Water. If your lungs are containers than your bones are objects. Any Siege monster that attacks you deals double damage because it’s attacking your bones.
Alright then. Bastille will cast Entangle on the two guards such that there is no difficult terrain for Vimak and Cirrus if they wish to close in for the attack.
Bastille chants some arcane words and then she taps bottom of her staff on the ground. Suddenly vines sprout out from the ground underneath the guards and begin to wrap them. STR Save DC 14 or be Restrained
Inspired by the avalanches of his youth, Vimak charges down on the guards. He aims for the neck of the one on the left. (This roll assumes advantage because the guard is entangled: 9, this one does not: 7; In either case, this is the damage: 12.)

As the two are playing their games, the ground suddenly comes to life in a knot of roots, and other shrubbery, tangling tightly around their legs. Caught entirely unawares, even as they're assailed by the sudden grass, Vimak fires a warning shot with his weapon, slamming it down hard against the ground near one of them, missing. Likely due to his over-excitement for battle.
Waiting on Cirrus free action, then following initiative.
Cirrus: 18 - Herman - 16 - Vimak - 12
1 - 8
2 - 13
Correction on herman initiative... as Herman is now bastille... -2 from the total.
Cirrus' free action: he will move to 4k, Rapier in one hand, dagger in the other, he slashes "2" with his rapier (9 to hit; 6), then stabs the guy with his dagger (11 to hit; 3 damage).
You can't drown someone with Create Water. If your lungs are containers than your bones are objects. Any Siege monster that attacks you deals double damage because it’s attacking your bones.
Cirrus' first attack is dodged easily, but Cirrus took advantage of that opening movement to jam his dagger in the mans side, fairly hard. But just as cirrus is celebrating, '2's shortsword rises, Attack: 8 Damage: 7 and slashes the air, the roots hindering his otherwise high agility.
Bastille stays where she is and chants another spell, raising her arm she points her palm toward "2" and a swarm of small insects appear on him and try to bite him.
Attack of Opportunity for missed attack:24 to hit; 4 damage. Crit adds an additional 8, for a total of 12damage.
For his turn, Cirrus will do the same thing again to "2" (unless 2 is dead, in which case the attack will be directed at 1.), a rapier attack followed by a dagger attack: ((14 w/ adv: 12) to hit; 8 damage)((7 w/ adv: 22) to hit; 4 damage)

2 takes a deep stab but remains .. well.. sitting, just barely. Cirrus follows up with the same weapon, but misses, then stabbing out at 2, taking off half of his remaining health. Breathing hard, he takes advantage of Cirrus' distraction, and stabs at him once more (DAOO) Attack: 12 Damage: 7
1 see's the peril they're in, and attempts to break free of the vines. 6 but fails horribly, almost gettign himself more trapped.
2, attempting to trip Cirrus (Improvised action, Shove rules) by shoving his feet out from under him. (DC 4 Vs Cirrus' Athl or Acro - If failed, Cirrus is knocked prone. If passed, nothing happens.)
(So what we've learned from this is that if I had used my amulet, it wouldn't have worked anyway.)
(Also, I think I get an AoO for 2's missed stab. in that case:)
(15 w/ adv: 22) to hit; (5) damage
Oh no! I wonder if Cirrus (the lv. 2 Bard ) will be able to beat this DC 4! Acrobatics: 13

Bastille watches contently at the chaos that's going on. She is pleased that her spell is working well. She raises her hand yet again and a swarm of bugs attack "1".
Casting Infestation. CON 14 or take 2 Poison damage.

The Redbrand swats away the insects effectively enough to keep himself from being damaged just as his friend falls to Cirrus' counterattack. Now lying limply int he grass, half covered by it.
Vimak see's this, and tries to make up for his initial failure, Attack: 22 Damage: 12 landing a very, very solid blow on the man.
The Redbrand throws his weapon to the side, and raises both of his hands in an 'I give up' fashion. Looking at you three with fear in his eyes, and a clearly broken leg from Vimak's assault. His hands shaking from the pain, a frown visible on his features as his eyes dart back and forth between you all. Oi! Oi! Halt! Stop, Don't kill me! Augh..... a wave of pain surging through his body causing him to double over and throw up on the ground, a mix of bile and blood.

Vimak nods at Bastille. "That sounds like a good plan to me. Let's try to keep them from going inside and getting any other thugs."
