Harpy shrugs, "whatever you boys want to do is fine by me though we might want to come back later tonight and hang out here and see if they come back to try again... if not then at least Katar knows to secure this opening or add it to her alarm spell."
If or when they leave Harpy will follow the rest of the crew.
As he is waiting for the group, Brayton keeps his eyes peeled for any sort of homeless person stationed in the area that could have seen something the other night.
"we shouldn't have much trouble finding them. They are not hiding. Let's check the other place." says in his low tone the hunter. " If you want to lend them a trap here "he says to Harpy " you should put a bait inside. For this plan to work and they risk coming back here so soon, we should put something valuable inside the shop. Or at least spread the word that there is something valuable. "
"No doubt that they know we are looking for them. Let's head to The Pantry and continue investigating." Erik will gather the others and head to The Pantry.

perception: 1
The driving rain gets into Brayton's eyes, making it difficult for him to see anything or anyone. It's a wonder he manages to make it to The Pantry at all.
The Pantry is a small shop that appears to sell a range of food and drink. It has an attractive display of fresh fruits and vegetables on the street outside it. It's all local produce, with no exotic goods, but they look like they're good quality compared to what is typically found in Dogtown. The shop itself is neat and well kept with a carefully scripted sign hanging above it reading "The Pantry".
Everyone give me a perception check, Ruhvon with advantage.
For all of you except Ruhvon, it would be easy to overlook such a detail as you pass, but at the side of the sodden mud road near the Pantry, Laza, Brayton and Ruhvon notice that there is a large metal manhole cover that serves as an entrance to the sewer network that runs beneath the streets. It's large enough that you could enter it if you chose to.
Laza, you also notices that the shop next to the Pantry is a stationer's which has a number of items on display including several caligraphy sets. You recall that, whilst talking to the halfling merchants, they mentioned the Crimson Rebels were intending to sell the merchants some calligraphy equipment the following evening.
Laza points to the stationary shop and display of calligraphy sets and says "This likely isn't a coincidence... The halflings in the Nail said that the Rebels would have calligraphy items for them tomorrow evening."
Laza nods saying "My thoughts exactly. Perhaps they plan to hit it tonight." ((what time is it about?)) Then, turning to Ruhvon he asks "Do you know anything of the sewers here?"

It's currently about 3pm. Sunset will be at about 7pm.
Ruhvon, here's what you know about the sewers for you to share (or not) as you wish:
As you spent most of your time under the Mage's Quarters, you're not so familiar with the sewers under Dogtown. However, you do know that most sewers follow the pattern of the street above and most are large enough for medium-sized creatures to traverse for maintenance. They're normally dark, damp and smelly. Normally, rainwater and waste are carried along in channels in the middle of tunnels. Sometimes creatures make their homes in the sewers, although it's rare to find anything excessively dangerous. Feel free to embellish with any other details you'd like!
"Could be anything really," he says with a shrug as he stands. "The sewers are large enough for creatures like us to easily move around though."
Laza says to the group "Perhaps we should check The Pantry? It's nearby and may have more clues."

Brayton will trail after the group only about 10-20 feet. Just keeping an eye out for anything to happen.

"That's odd. Why would some petty thieves would want such an item? That could lead us to their next destination."
Rothnar seems distracted with the rain.
