Vi then asks him, Can you show me to the room you have prepared for me? She drains the ale and follows the dwarf to the room, he opens the door politely for her and she walks in, and sets her bag down on the bed and brgins to rifle through her pack, grabbing a shirt and cloak out of it. The dwarf still standing in the doorway as she bends over the bed grabbing her cloths and she pretends not to notice. She takes her chainmail off and padding, and puts on a fresh shirt. She grabs her cloak and spins around, the dwarf caught red handed still staring at her, averts his eyes a too late. She walks over and says to him Thank you for showting me to my room. She takes the key from him as he studders response and locks the door and they walk back over to the bar. She tells Arnnon, I do need to run an errand or two before we depart for the morning. Do you know any information about the job?
Very good with the armour as trade the studded leather will cost you 40 gold. As for the favour I have to ask, near to here is an area known as Lance Rock. It is a cave system that has a large Granite Menhir partially blocking the entranceway. In recent months there have been signs left near there warning people to stay away or suffer the wrath of the Lord of Lance Rock. There should be no lord there and a malevolent presence seems to be emanating from the area. I would have you and your group investigate it for me and while I don't propose to pay you any extra than what the Constable is offering I am willing to give your colleagues and you a 10% discount in the future on all purchases. How does that sound?
Hmmm, I see. Well I had better get prepared for the trip. She turn to the dwarf and smiles as she says. I didn't get your name, but thank your for showing me around and providing me the information I needed. Vi leaves the inn and heads for the bakery. (Current time outside?) She adjusts herself in her current wear of a small rather tight shirt, the leather shorts, boots, and a cloak to cover most of her as she walks before she leaves the inn. Clasping the cloak and pulling the hood up before she opens the door. She walks to the shop as positioned on the map she was shown. (If nothing interesting happens along the way she enters the shop) perception check if needed at any point of the walking / shopping 24
Its early evening at this point bt the stores are still open. You notice on your way out that some of the caravaners are grumblng about a trade delegation running late and some miners from the nearby quarries talking about how they feel like they are being watched whenever they are in the quarries. There isn't anything overly interesting on your short walk. Are you heading to the Barber and his second hand store or to the baker and try to see if he'll open up after Hrothgars information about him having connections with the right people?
Vi enters the bakershop, a human man in his thirties is in the process of cleaning up before closing for the evening. He turns towards the sound of Vi entering and she is able to see a dragon tattoo on the side of his neck, just peeking out of the collar of his shirt. it is highly stylised and something that a baker could not easily afford.
He eyes Vi up and down, smirking, Sorry luv shops closed and while yer fair on the eyes me missus will be back soon and just a likely to stab my eyes out as she is yers. I suggest leaving as there's no business here for you.
Give me a history check to see if you can place the accent and the tattoo
Mangorbarl notices you staring at his tattoo and self conciously covers it up. Like I sed miss unless you're after something particular its time fer you to leave me shop
His eyes narrow suspiciously I don't know you and I don't know what you've heard but unless you have the right introductions or I know I can trust you then all you'll get from me is crumblecake. He strokes his goatee I tell you what. If you find any items or curios of a magical nature and are willing to trade them then I'll make sure you're given the proper introductions in the future. Capische?
It is a short walk to Gaelkurs. This seedy wooden building serves as Red Larch’s used tools and goods shop, its barber, and an unofficial second tavern for locals. Inside is a cluttered shop full of lounging customers — most of them men in no particular hurry to be waited on — with old hair clippings trodden underfoot on the sagging board floor.
Gaelkur is leaning against the worktop-come-bar gossiping with an older man in shepherds garb. He sees Vi enter the establishment and stands. He twiddles the ends of his wax moustache and approaches, a smarmy grin plastered on his face.
Good Evening my sweet! What can fair Gaelkur get for you?
Vi looks around and counts the current amount of patrons (number please and also are they customers/staff, and their gender if you will) She walks over slowly to the the man (assuming a human?) that addressed her removing her hood as she continues foward. Well my dear Gaelkur, perhaps we can benefit each other mutually. Provided you have...what I am looking for that is, I have as you might say an acquired taste for some items, (she moves closer and whispers) questionable legality in some parts. She pulls back to a slightly closer than normal talking distance and smilesat him as she pulls out a gold piece and spins it end over end in her fingers.
There’s half a dozen customers in here and one other member of staff. The customers appear to miners from the local quarries or wheelwrights from the wagon repair yard here in Red Larch. There’s a mix of races with dwarves half-orcs, elves, shifters and tieflings all in the mix. Everyone seems to be getting on and gossiping.
Gaelkur focus on the gold coin the smile on his face widening at seeing the coin. Oh my little sweet with like that I’m sure I can get you whatever you need. Of course first you have to tell me what it is you want
Would you happen to carry any substances for...a good time, other than drinks? Vi says to him, coming just a bit closer and toying with a stand of her hair. I heard you would be the man in town to see. She adds in a whisper.
Hmmm for 5 gold I can offer you two doses of Dreamily. It’s a mild hallucinogenic and sedative that’s become popular since The Last War up in Cyre. The question is have you got the coin?
Vi comes a little closer and says to Gaelkur,Hmmmm, how about I give you 10 gold for 4 doses and a sample now to make sure it...does what you say it does?
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Beliard you say? Just how late is it? Vi responds. I will buy one for 2 gold, and if it is to my liking then I will return for the other one. Persuasion for 5 silver off 21
Deal! Beliard is a city up north towards the Mourning Wastes but the caravan is a few days late. Nothing to worry about yet considering all the weird weather we’ve been having recently. That and the stone masked lot who keep watching the quarry workers at night. Strange. Anyway give me two moments my dove and I’ll have your Dreamily tonic for you. He walks behind the bar and heads down stairs you hadn’t noticed before. Returning shortly with an iridescent purple liquid in a sturdy looking vial.
The money is exchanged and Gaelkur turns to deal with another customer

Vi says quickly to the man, I was told you just might sell the goods I am looking for, and it is not exactly related to baking.
Persuasion if needed : 14
If he does not offer any goods for sale, she will tell him Thank you for your time, it was nice to meet you. She will then move on to the Barber.
