Ooc - same floor but off to the side of the main room, there is a small window leading outside to an alleyway behind the street. You belongings are upstairs and you would need to go back into the main room, go up a staircase and along a short corridor to get to your rooms.

"And what about me?", Ophelia complains. "Or has my more feminine side on display tonight confused you so much that you must consider me male to control your more base urges? I must admit the corset was rather flattering..."
Having returned to her room on arriving back at the fountain, Ophelia is dressed once more in here usual dark leathers, devoid of makeup and hair in a ponytail, looking completely different to her previous guise. She lounges across the arms of a large armchair, feet and calves dangling off one end, cutting an apple with one of her daggers.
"Do you mean Dejan? Or are other people asking for us by name?"
"I mean trouble," Gryffen says. "And you can clearly handle yourself. I was merely cautioning these fellows." He waves a hand at Kaiand Gideon. "It's time to go."
"If you say so..." The half-elf reluctantly throws the apple to the floor, having only managed to eat a single slice.
"'Company' is rather vague Gryffen, got any more details for us? I'd rather not step out that door and find myself staring a loaded crossbow in the face. Are we heading out the window?"
Rising Gideon begins to tighten his armour and loosens his scabbard. "I can take care of my self when needed" he says glancing at Gryffen "The window sounds good, I've no desire to stir a hornets nest by shedding any more blood tonight than we need to"
OOC: Have we taken a short rest ?
Also changed the post, by the time I'd finished you'd posted twice and Gideon's dialogue made no sense.
"Maybe this is Dejan's way of keeping us on our toes", Ophelia muses. "I've got a few things on my person, but I can't leave my backpack. Might as well declare to everyone on the other side of this door that I'm up to no good if our 'company' outside start raiding rooms."
At Kai's request she approaches him. "Can you shapeshift again if need be? You're in possession of the items that will incriminate us, so if something does happen, you should try and escape regardless of what happens to us."
"They may be bounty hunters or they might just be a rough crowd of patrons. They are armed," Gryffen says. "And they saw me come in here. I could try to leave the way I entered. I am just as happy going out the window, though."
"Nothing more suspicious than someone vanishing from a room they went into. I can't recall seeing any swords outside when I came down here after changing, but if they've seen your face, you're at a disadvantage compared to the rest of us."
Ophelia wipes her dagger on a napkin and sheathes it, then swings her legs off the armchair, and gets to her feet, ready to go. "Perhaps, Gryffen, you can head back outside into the main area, and work out what's going on- maybe ask one of the staff? The rest of us leave via the window, grab our belongings from upstairs, plus Gryffen's, and we meet you somewhere. Anything goes wrong, use your sending stone."
Gryffennods and hands the rope and grapple over to Ophelia. "I'll see what I can learn. Best of luck," he says.
(If no one else has anything to say or do, Gryffenwill watch them leave and then close the window and sit for a minute before standing and walking back out into the common room.)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Ophelia
Slowly unlatching the window, Ophelia carefully sticks her head out into the alley adjoining the Fountain, looking for signs of life among the ever-growing shadows, and listening for activity she may not be able to see.
Percpetion: 18
OOC - If the coast is all clear, she will move out into the alley, and I'll update this post to reflect this. The roll below doesn't include Pass Without Trace.
Ophelia - In the low light your darkvision helps you cut through the gloom, across the alleyway and about halfway to the street you see a familiar silhouette leaning against the wall, Dejan nods to her, and she suspects he is smiling to himself. He beckons for her to come to him, then changes his mind and walks over. A few seconds later he is in front of her "Lady Piast, I would barely have recognised you." he begins with a smirk before continuing "You are showing a good amount of sense but do not fear, the men lurking inside are not your enemies. I wanted two things, one to see if you could recognise a threat when it presented itself and secondly that I had the means to protect you and your acquisitions if needed. However it does not look like that will be necessary. Your evening seems to have gone very well. Move back and let me come and join you." He waits until Ophelia gives him space to do so and then climbs in through the window, greeting the others as he dusts himself off.

Sighing at Dejan's dramatic entrance, Ophelia backs into the room. "Told you it was Dejan toying with us. I have a sixth sense about these things."
Picking up another apple from the fruit bowl, she slumps into her previous armchair, and begins to cut herself a slice. "So to clarify Dejan, you would consider a heist successful with only five dead, correct?" Her words have an icy tone to them.
"Gentlemen," Gryffen says as he enters. "I recommend packing your things. We have company out there."
