I'm guessing this pool is the source of the water that just tried to wash us away? How big is the pool (natural feature or Goblin made?) and how fast is it refilling? Can I tell how the release happens when it is full?
Also, do I beleive the Goblin screams would have carried back to the rest of the party?

Pool is the source of water, you can't see what made it release at the moment. It is low at the moment, but refilling slowly estimation of over 10 minutes from what you can tell with the brief moment that has occurred so far. Perception check from the others needed to see if they heard anything. Zandrich has a lower DC required.

Sorry,
I've lost sense of the layout, the bad guys and the rest of the party is positioned in relation to each other.
I'm not asking whether they actually heard the screaming or not. I don't care whether they actually heard it or not - DC and their roles aren't relevant to this decision.
I'm asking - based on factors like: Kal's experience, how far away he is from the rest of the party, how loud the scream was, and what the ambient sound conditions are - how likely he thinks it is that the rest of party heard the screaming?
Was it a really loud scream that echos strongly in the caves that likely got back to the party, who is 30 feet behind Kal? Or was the Goblin yelling away from Kal and the party - Kal barely heard it, so it is unlikely that the rest of the party (who is 100 feet behind Kal) heard it over the still echoing rushing water?
If I think that it is likely that the rest of the party heard the goblin screaming, then they are probably coming. I would yell for them to get up here and I want to take a shot at the screamer. If I think it unlikely that the rest of the party heard the screamer, then I don't want to take the shot. I want to head back and get them moving forward.
“Oi oi where did the water come from?!” Niche complained with annoyance at the unexpected rush of water, “What’s going on up there?”
Perception 15
If Niche hears the scream with that perception then she will inform the others and start climbing up the ladder to join Kal and Zandrich while urging the others to follow. // If not then she will just start climbing up herself.
10 feet from the pool is where the 2 goblins are, you are currently against the pool's wall but 40 feet from the 2 goblins. Zandrich would be 25 feet from you and the party would be an additional 15 feet from that (assuming they all climbed the ladder as I am currently assuming)
+4 if it is initiative, +1 if it is the attack roll for the shot on the goblin that yelled. If it hits, damage 20
Do you take a movement? Not a surprise round so they will get a turn so to speak. Please roll initiative as well, we will consider that the attack roll. Describe the death as the goblin that screamed did indeed die.

I'll take movement if it can get me any cover, else just ready another arrow.
I place the arrow so it goes thru the open mouth of the goblin and out the back of its head.
Dat’ll teach ya ta keep yer mouth shut.

How far away are the goblins and the pool from me and how far back is the rest of the party, approximately?
I'm going to take the shot at the goblin who yelled. You want initiative roll?
