You carefully make your way to the other passage and follow its curves till you come to a wooden door. Spiv carefully checks the door and does not find any traps. The door is also unlocked. Not hearing anything on the other side you open the door and make your way into a large room
It is just just over 100 feet deep and about 30 feet wide. An opening to the north goes 20 feet and turns right. Wooden doors stand opposite each other in the top corners of the room
Flickering wisps of flame fill the center of the room, and several pieces of blood-soaked clothing are scattered throughout the room. At the far end is a pile of something that Spiv can just make out and out of it climbs a large spider which moves towards you.

Theodorick will move up to L7 holding his mace and shield and will point his mace toward the spider and the tip of the mace will begin to glow a fiery bright yellow and will release flinging the bright flame toward the spider creature.
Sacred Flame: Dex save DC: 13 or take 5 Radiant Damage
Pulling out his spear Neizra will ready himself setting his feet with the tip pointed at the spider
Syljeon moves to J8, keeping the wall on his back and takes a shot with his light crossbow:
Attack: 21 Damage: 9
Syljeon hits the spider and the bolt sticks out of its hide.
"Just like back home." Spiv states grimly as he steps back to P7, and readies his Shortbow. "I got you guys covered. But be careful. Those things can be quite venomous." He warns as he settles in to wait for the creature to either get within reach of a compatriot or vice versa.
Theodorick will move up to L7 holding his mace and shield and will point his mace toward the spider and the tip of the mace will begin to glow a fiery bright yellow and will release flinging the bright flame toward the spider creature.

The spider tries to avoid the bright flame coming its way Dex save - 16 and is able to avoid the attack.
It scrambles 30 feet closer to the party and webbing flies from it trying to hit 4 Theodorick Attack - 10 but the webbing misses.
Now that the creature has closed some of the distance, Theodorick will move up to him (J6), placing an overarching swing to bash down on the spiders topside with his mace.
Syljeon will lean his crossbow against the wall, pull out his longsword, circle around the spider (H6) and try to cut one of its legs off (we don't have any kind of flanking rules, do we?):
Nezira will move to J5 attempting to surround the creature and call out in a dark tongue as a strange glow surrounds his spear. He then will make a two handed attack on the spider
"Tough Big'un. Try not damage mandables too much now." Spiv requests as he loads another shot and fires. If either of his shots fails to fell the arachnid, he steps up around the bend to avoid any webs being shot his way(P5).
When the creature moves into range of the others Spiv looses an arrow but it is hurried and flys high. But his second arrow hits the beast for 7 damage

Blood pours from the beasts wounds, it looks nearly defeated.
Don't know if you really care that much about ammo consumption DM, but I got 3 marked down so far in case it is a thing.

Spiv says to himself as he steps around the corner just long enough to line up and let loose another shot in the arachnid. But it's right BACK around the corner for him, hit or miss!(P5). "Is it... Did I get him?"He calls in to the others.
