(With an excited grin) I don’t claim to speak for my entire party master dwarf, but the death god would rejoice if I claimed the soul of a malignant fire titan.
Grommouc says to Hunding "In a battle on the fire plane, Pharos is practically invincible. However, Pharos does have one trait that we can exploit: his hubris. I do not think that even with our magics you can survive on the plane of fire long. That is why we need numbers. We need to split our groups. I will lead the first group to will taunt Pharos's to lure his troops to us on this realm. He will surely take the bait due to our previous escape. While he is distracted, another group lead by Hovarlig behind you." Grommouc points to the dwarf that first talked and led you here. "He will infiltrate into the fire plane and rescue our families. We must hold the portal until they return."
Grommouc nods his head at Hovarlig then continues saying to Hunding "I do agree with you though. We will never truly be safe until Pharos is dead, but we do not have the strength to bring down a titan at the moment."
While I am disappointed that we can’t kill this titan I would like to help you if we can. Master dwarf help me and my friends increase the power of our weaponry and we will aid you in saving your people. Afterwards, assist us in journeying home and we will be forever grateful.
"I understand the sentiment. Maybe in time we can find a way to strike at the Titan, but for the moment, rescuing our families are priority." Grommouc walks over and says "Now with regards to preparing for the fight..."
Rhaucred shakes his head, " You all are crazy, but I guess if we are going to walk face first into the fire plane I can't let you go without me." He laughs.
The Forgemaster continues with saying "Now with regards to preparing for the fight, me must prepare you some weapons that will allow you to contend with fire elementals without your weapons melting. I am not sure if you saw, but we are siphoning off ore from here and funneling it into the forges below. Most of these weapons are forged into obsidian blades, which while sharp, are brittle and don't hold well in battle. We azers can use the full potential of these weapons, but I doubt they will have much use to you. The heavier, more durable metals will normally be found closer to the source of the lava flow. Due to the abundant magical nature of this realm, we should be able to forge a magical weapon for you, if you were able to find enough ore for the weapons. If you wish to forge weapons, I suggest you take Hovarlig here with you too the peak. He will be able to tell you which ores to bring back. Just a fair warning though, earth elementals usually crowd around magical ores and claim it as their own. So do prepare yourselves for battles."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Nedrick looks curiously at the Forgemaster.
"Quite interesting my dear Forgemaster. I am quite intrigued and thrilled at the thought of saving your families."
Nedrick puts his hand to his chin.
"We are foreign to this land. While I appreciate you providing me with a warning regarding the Earth Elemental's we are unfamiliar with their tactics. This leads to an increase in the chance of death of one or more of us. If we die, that's one less body that you can be used in this fight. It seems it would be beneficial to ensure that we remain alive. Would you be able to spare any bodies for a short time to help increase our chance of success? We get our weapons, and you ensure that we are still alive to use them. What say you Forgemaster?"
The Forgemaster says "I am already providing you with Hovarlig, he is one of our finest warriors. He should be enough to help you. I will leave it to Hovarlig's discretion if he believes you need more help."
Hovarlig steps up from the back of the room and says "Aye' I believe we should take another warrior. I suggest Jorful. This would also allows us to bring back some ore as well."
Forgemaster Grommouc nods his head "Make it so then Hovarlig."
"Say... Great Warrior Hovarlig. I am quite curious. When you come to this realm was the castle empty. Or did you have to... motivate the King to leave?"
Hovarlig responds "Well, the first time I was here was about 50 years ago. Pharos had sent us here to investigate this mountain's strange volcanic activities. When we first came here, we teleported in not too far from 'ere. When we spied the castle, we came to investigate, but nobody were 'ere. We searched the castle, but most of it had already been damaged by all the flames. This castle was obviously not built for a volcano, too much wood used in it's construction. What was left, Pharos ordered us to take back to his kingdom. The only thing that we really left was a few things in this 'ole library. Most of em were burnt, and when we came back a second time a 6 months ago some were still 'ere. You can find what was left in this room up the stairs on the floor above."
Library you say...*hiccup* id love to take a look. Knowledge is power, and were going to need every advantage we can muster if we hope in succeeding on this quest. might you show me the way?”
Hovarlig opens the door and points to a spiral staircase down the hall and says "Right up that way, there is a door at the top there lad. Best reading to ya."
TT the tortoise looks down at the ground in disappointment as if to say, "But where's the food...?" ;_;

You see master dwarf as long as this fire monster exists your people will never be truly safe. Does this being have any weaknesses we could exploit?

Nedrick steps forward anxiously awaiting the Forgemaster's words looking confused.
"Is this riddle? My word man tell us the plan if not."
Rhaucred shakes his head, " You all are crazy, but I guess if we are going to walk face first into the fire plane I can't let you go without me." He laughs.

Nedrick bows with a smile.
"Thank you, Forgemaster and Great Warrior Hovarlig. Your generosity knows no bounds. It will be an honor to fight beside you."
Nedrick steps over to Hovarlig and slyly says.
"Say... Great Warrior Hovarlig. I am quite curious. When you come to this realm was the castle empty. Or did you have to... motivate the King to leave?"
mort leans in closer to Hovarlig on the opposite side of nedrick and slyly says
“And were the treasuries barren, or did you have to....tidy up??”

You wizards waste time ruining your eyesight with books. Just let me know when there is something that needs chopping.
