The movement stopped as soon as Feng spoke but there was a definite squeak just before it. There’s the tiniest glimpse of an eye peeking at you all through the undergrowth.

Feng stops the wagon and stands up. He gestures to everyone to gather up. Everyone on the defensive!
Feng waits for everyone to get into a defensive position then yells out to the side of the road We are aware you're out there! Show yourself! He growls.
A goblin emerges from the thicket, smaller and scrawnier than you’d expect any goblin to be, it’s eyes wide. It speaks with a strangely scratchy sounding squeaky voice, “Kiblin is sorry! No hurt Kiblin. Was just watching, just watching!”

Morg has his javelin ready to use, he turns himself so he can see the side and rear* of the caravan taking a standard position he has assumed countless times in the past on cavan voyages. Morg is disappointed the noise they heard is not an animal, he was hoping to make some friends on this journey.
[ooc]*assuming the noise is from the W and we are headed N, he will face SW direction.[/ooc]
For novaskyr
[ooc] not sure if this is for everyone or just you and Morg - don't want to alter other's RP. [/ooc]
It does not dawn on Morg to check to see if the others in the group are protecting all sides of the wagon. Morg is used to his family and their efficiency that he takes for granted everyone knows their role and proper positioning.
Seeing the Goblin exit the brambles Morg lets out an annoyed grunt. Goblin! Watch wagon for sneak thief goblin friends. Goblin like gnat always buzzing around head, swat but still around buzzing. Where see one always more, just like gnats.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Now what were you doing besides watching and who was with you? I doubt you were alone so tell us and scurry along. If you don’t give me a reason to kill you I won’t.
Charmine does this with a cold stare approaching the goblin but not close enough for it to be able to launch an attack (10ft) He studies his quarry in front of him providing insight to its intent.
Talen don't understand what the rest is talking about and were about to suggest they move on when a goblin suddenly appear.
Is the goblin just young or is he starving? Perception 9
"Well perhaps he is a danger but to me he looks hungry. Maybe we can give this goblin some food... unless there's a whole clan back there." Talen is unsure if we could feed more than a handful of starved creatures - IF that is the situation here :)
The goblin cowers and tries to make itself look even smaller. It seems to be both not well fed and not fully grown, “No kill Kiblin! Kiblin alone, no clan, was just watching!”

Morg is conflicted, years of experience has taught him that Goblins are a pest and can be a deadly pest for those caught off guard or out numbered; but Morg has never seen such a pathetic example of a Goblin, even in years that the winter were harshest and food unavailable, the shape of the specimen in front of the group is pitiful. Morg sees more animal than Goblin and feels it should be cared for; YET he is still cautious that this is still possibly a ruse. Morg attempts to be vigilant over his compassion for small wounded creatures.
Growing weary of the time they are spending stopped Why no clan? Where came from? No tricks or Kibl'n regret.
(Normally, assistances give one person advantage, with the logic of one person is helping the other. Insight, however I’d say is hard to help someone with. But you could roll an insight check yourself).
Morg:
The goblin looks really scared of you guys.
The goblin tries to make itself even smaller (if that was even possible) and wrings its hands together, “Clan not want Kiblin, too many mistakes, sent Kiblin away.”

Feng looks at the little goblin with some sadness in his eyes, remembering the time in his life where his own clan turned their backs on him to die alone. He kneels in front of the goblin and seeing his small state, and frailness of his body can clearly see that the goblin is suffering. Where once there was distrust in his heart for the goblin, he now feels compassion. He looks at the Goblin and asks, When is the last time you ate a meal? Do you truly have no clan to call your own? (Insight 18)
“Meal...?” The goblin doesn’t seem to understand what Feng means, then looks down sadly, “Kiblin is alone. No clan.”
Feng:
You get the sense that Kiblin is being honest about their lack of a clan and is genuinely sad that they were kicked out of the clan. You do, however get the sense that while it’s not lying, it’s deliberately leaving some questions unanswered.

Morg seeing the compassion of his companions lowers his hostility towards Kiblin, he is still on alert since they are still working and he has already missed one encounter today. A small ember starts to smolder in Morg's mind after hearing of Kiblin's abandonment by his clan due to past mistakes.
Feng mean when Kibl'n eat? If Kiblin still seems confused, Morg will repeat his question in Orcish to see if Kiblin understands Orc better than common.
Kiblin thinks for a moment after Morg’s question, then stands up a little straighter, for the first time, looking almost proud, “Kiblin catched mouse yesterday. Was good.“
