Well, if we can take care of the Goblins and find Gundren, we might be able to bring bad luck back to nothing before it reaches three.. but no promises. We will find Reyrieth, and most likely spend the night in Phandalin, for there is not much daylight left for today. I thank you greatly for your business, and perhaps we shall see you on the morrow for some provisions before we depart.
Lavandula bows in respect, listens to a possible response and leaves the store. He goes back to his comrades (shares the rewarded gold coins), and says:
We should go find Reyrieth, and get more information about this place. The dwarf who hired us apparently never made it here, and I am starting to wonder if you were right about the horses on the road Koga. In any case, we should spend the night in this small town.
He responds quickly, “There’s the Stonehill Inn, just follow the road further in to the town, it’s the newish build on the left. That’d be the best place to look for a room to stay the night.”

"Do we want to wait until tomorrow to leave, every second we wait might count. We could head back out and get at least a few hours down the road?" Fluxx is eager to head back to investigate further but won't appose if everyone is insistent on staying and leaving in the morning.
I think we should let Reyrieth know we are here, and what we plan on doing before we run out of town. I don't mind making camp somewhere down the road, but we will have to keep watch for there obviously are danger around the road leading here.
You all head, on foot as the wagon is staying at the shop, further into the town until you come to a central space. On the north-eastern corner you can see the newer building that Barthen described to you, in the centre of the northern edge of the space is a shrine, to the east of that is a house. The eastern and southern sides of the space are enclosed by buildings also, with oaths heading east, south and west at the respective corners. The western side of the space, however, is home to a town green, and beyond that you can see a fenced off area of trees and a wooden building that has an arched roof and a garden that is teeming with plant life. You assume that that is the home of Reyrieth.

As he approaches, he sees that there are three figures outside of the house, one of which is stood by the door. The other two are roughly 15ft away from the house and wearing grimy cloaks that were once red in colour. The one outside the house says,
”I’ll not tell you again, you useless lumps. I’m quite capable of protecting myself, and so I won’t be giving any of you money for protection. And if you don’t clear off, you’ll discover just how capable I am!” As they finish this speech, they raises a hand that begins to glow with arcane energy that crackles.
The red-cloaked figures, huff and posture for a moment, but then slink away, following a road that seems to run back towards the entrance to the town, calling out, “We’ll be back, maybe you’ll have changed your mind then you old bag!”
By the time you reach the edge of the garden, the figure at the door’s magic has faded and they turn and you are able to see them more clearly: a female elf with piercing blue eyes whose white hair is tied back in an intricate braid. You can see that she is old, even for an elf. Her clothes are worn and very plain, seeming to be travelling gear that has seen some travel. There’s a faint scar on the outer edge of her left eyebrow, barely visible.
“And what is it that you want? Eh? Come to try your luck as well have you?” And she crosses her arms with a frown.

Lavandula bows to the lady, and says: We are with the Bannered Blades! We were told to seek out Reyrieth in Phandalin after a delivery. We are planning on tracking down a band of Goblins that are attacking travelers on the road here.. they might have captured our "clientele". Could you message the Guild and let them know that we will stick around here for a while? It would seem this town could use some help!
As you say this, her entire demeanour changes into a much more relaxed one and she smiles, “Well, you’d best come in then.” And she heads inside, beckoning you all to follow.
The inside of the house is full of wooden furniture and she leads you all into the kitchen, where there is a table and a chair, then rummages around for a while until she’s found seating for all of you, a mish-mash of stools, wooden boxes and side tables. As she does all of this, she’s chattering,
”About time someone turned up, I’ve been telling Kata for months that something strange is going on here... and those Redbrands! Mercenary Guild for our protection the mayor says, but I’ve never seen them solve a single problem that they haven’t caused! All they do is take money from the hardworking folks that live here. I’m not surprised you had trouble on the road, either, hardly any supplies have been reaching the stores here. Robbers on the road and robbers in the town, what is the world coming to?” She continues to talk, as if she‘s been holding in a conversation for a while, but it’s all in a similar vein.

Robbers on the road, robbers in the town... sounds like a job for the Bannered Blades. Do you think the Guild will allow us to work here for a bit? I mean, finding Gundren is kind of part of the first contract since he technically is the contractor.. but then perhaps we can convince the mayor to hire us instead of these Red-Branded bandits that try to pass themselves as mercenaries.. from what I’ve seen outside, they didn’t seem that scary!
He then turns to his comrades:
What do you think boys? Save Dwarf Rockseeker then save the town? Let’s set a good image of the Guild here!
"I wouldn't be surprised if they're tied together even, seems like a lot of trouble surrounding this town. I agree, let's go find Gundren. He is the unknown here and could be in dire trouble. We can help the town when we return."

"Let's go find Rockseeker, and perhaps the Guild will have responded as to our orders here. Ma'am, do you think you can send a message to Neverwinter for us, like my friend here suggested?"
“Hmm? Yes, yes, of course I can. Kata and I keep in touch, of course. It’ll be good to talk to her again. Yes.” She says, looking energised, “You say you're heading out again? Take care then, and watch for those pesky Goblins! I’ll talk to Kata, don’t you worry!”

Lavandula is content to get back on the road next. He will thank Reyrieth for her assistance and politely take leave.
When the rest are ready, he will follow the group on the road, suggesting a place to camp around sundown. And offers to take the first watch, unless someone else wants it.
You all head back out onto the road, following it back to the entrance to the town, then out of the town completely. You travel for a couple of hours, towards the end of the second hour you start looking for a place to stop and make camp. Koga spots a place where there seems to be a fairly clear spot a little behind a thicket of bushes, between the bushes and the embankment, big enough for you all to rest and where you would be able to see a fair way up and down the road, and into the tree behind, from the top of the embankment, while being fairly well hidden.
(If you're taking a watch, roll perception - non-darkvisioners with disadvantage, at least 3 required, Jinx can do one also if needed. I've heard nothing back from Jinkx so I'm assuming they're no longer interested, or unable to play, I'll NPC Jinx for a little while, then write her out. If you're happy to continue as a 5-some, we'll do that after that point, or I'll open the recruitment thread again for a new member/add a different NPC (it feels weird to roleplay someone else's character))
