Angorn whips his head around to stare at the crow for a second before following the line of Henricook's gaze. As he sees what looks like a cart on fire he curses himself for not seeing it sooner himself. He turns and runs back to the wagons before turning around once again to scan for danger and bandits. He looks up at Louisa and asks What are your orders?
(@ Xun it has a range limit, and I doubt that the cart is within your spells range. Plus it only handles 5 feet cubes at a time)
It takes Zack a moment to trace the gaze but following Angorns gaze, he eventually caught sight of the smoke. Waiting to see if she decided to have them help, or ignore it for the defense of her own caravan.

Louisa looks at it and scans the area for any survivors or bandits

Seeing no one: "It looks abandoned. Approach with caution, see what is there" She stays behind with her wagons, though brings the wagons so that she is 30ft away from the overturned one.

Zack looks to Louisa Was a little worried when you asked us to go check it out. But now that I see you're going to it, I feel better. Don't have to make a choice between protecting you or them - Assuming anyone's still here. Hopefully if they are, they're uninjured. With his initial concern abated, Zack cautiously proceeds towards the burning cart. Due to his soldiers training, he Readyies the Dodge as he moves closer. Scanning the area for signs of people, allies, or enemies. Any clues as to who or what might have attacked the cart, if any are available.
Anyone who is looking through the cart sees an intact, closed chest that is locked, and a few expensive looking Xenothian silks, one of which is close to catching fire. These are things that you wouldn't have expected to see if this were merely bandits.
Zack: you see signs of a struggle, and a few scorch marks around. Whatever attacked used fire. There is a small patch of blood you find and there are grooves in the ground where it looks like a body or two was dragged. (Survival check would be needed if people wished to follow them. Alternatively, as it is late you could set up camp and move on, the next town that you are headed to(Maplebrook) is a days travel away. Other options are available if you suggest them, just I am preempting the most likely 2 in case people ask about them saving waiting for me to reply)

Henricook takes a bag of sand and pours it in the fire next to the Silks, then scoops the sand back into the bag and takes them. The crow reappears at the chest, apparently trying to lift it, saying in a hoarse voice. Gimme! Gimme! My Gold, mine!
(just for fun, athletics for the ‘crow’ to pick up the chest, 13 )
Meanhwile, Henricook inspects the silks, then offers them to Zack, holding his hand out.
(Would sand even put out a small fire? I have no idea... hm..)

Zack looks at the Aaracokra with an odd glance as he tries to hand him the silks, not that it wasn't appreciated. I figure that's something we can deal with later Uh.. For now just put it on the last cart in the back. We could be ambushed at any moment right now and I need my hands free to draw this guy. He says, thumbing towards the large sword on his back. Because look here... he says, pointing out the scorch marks and there.. pointing out the bloody, dragging marks leading off into (unspecified) direction. I realize this will slow down your intended Arrival time he shouts back to Louisa But it goes against my principles to leave people to their fates.... I was hired to guard your caravan, and if you say so I will stay. But I feel we should look into this.... he says, attempting to persuade her, and the rest of the group towards this course of action... (Persuasion: 24)
"Maybe we could set up a camp here and investigate this mystery" Venny agrees with Zack. "I mean, they take whoever was in the wagon but not its valuables? Assuming that the silk and the box are valuable". Of corse what happened here wasn't a simple robbery but something more dangerous and wild.
Louisa hefts her greatsword up. "I am not defenceless if you decide to help these people, and I commend your bravery, but it getting late. I will make camp off the road and if you choose to go after these people you may. Though help hiding my carts from bandits eyes would be appreciated."
She starts to move the carts off the road and start attempting to find things to try and disguise them. "Oh and if you aren't back by morning I will meet you in Maplebrook"
The crow fails to pick up the chest. The shape is a bit too awkward for a crow. Henricook manages to pick it up fairly easily. It feels quite light but clinks a lot as it moves. (weight and contents is 26lbs)

Venny help Louisa to cover the wagon and camp as quickly as possible, spending about a half hour on that. Then it's time to investigate the trail of blood. Studying the bloody dragging marks and where do it leads?
(Guess I’ll say something :) )
Henricook looks at his crow, and it suddenly hops up and starts screaming in a hoarse voice. Fire! Fire! Turned cart! Help! Fire!

Venny worries that everyone will look at her for an explanation for the fire so she quickly say
"It wasn't me" and then realize that might have come out a bit too quick and add "... this time."
Then she takes a look at the burning wagon, perception 3 .
Can she control the flames with her cantrip or is it too late or no point in doing that? (control flame)

Angorn strings his bow and knocks an arrow and stands in front of the first wagon. I will cover from here.
Henricook’s crow disappears, and He flies to the wreck, searching for anything valuable/people.

Henricook nods, and takes to the air once more, flying above the wagon. He is payed to do a job, isnt he?
Meanwhile, if the Crow failed to lift the chest, it tries again.

If the crow still fails, then it disappears and Henricook takes the chest.
