Aradurk finds maneuvering on the pitched deck to be extremely difficult, but is able to work his way to the next mooring in line, beating the slaad to it by a second, while the creature is held only for a moment by Tanakir's whip as it shrugs it off with the magical effect attempted by Wes. Aradurk's attempt to strike the creature is cut short by the unpredictable movement of the airship, throwing him off balance.
Karst's first step causes him to pitch forward onto the deck, scrabbling for a handhold. He loses his grip on his battleaxe in the process, watching the weapon fall from his hands, slide across the deck, and soar into the air toward the courtyard of the Master's Hall far below.
Karst DEX Save: 27
With nothing nearby on the deck to grab, the paladin punches a fist straight through the wood of the deck out of sheer instinct, using the new hold to pull himself back to his feet.
OOC: Karst still has half of his movement speed. He can reach the slaad this round if he would like to attempt another DEX save to move across the deck (I don't want to assume that he's willing to do so). Waiting for the finish of his turn before resolving the rest of this round.
Karst's battleaxe has been removed from his inventory (for the time being).
Watching the sliced rigging whipping in the wind, Ricky knows that her magics won't help bring them together in time. She scrambles to help Duggan with the ships wheel.
OOC Loving Karst's all or nothing rolls! Not so much loving the disappearing axe.. :(
Karst's grip through the deck secures him and saves his life but he knows he can't stop attacking completely. Without the battle axe he drops his shield and reaches for another weapon, drawing his longbow and reaching for a pair of arrows, muttering to himself as he uses the less familiar weapon.

Finishing Round 2...
The slaad makes its way to another mooring, dancing away from Aradurk's attempted strike, and tears it apart. The act throws Dugan to the ground, and the ship begins to spiral in the moment he is forced off of the wheel.

Rycider DEX Save: 7 Rycider DEX Save: 8
Aradurk begins preparations to tie himself to the deck while Tanakir lashes another lure around the slaad. The creature resists the pull of the lightning, and a finger of flame that Wes throws its way grazes its skin. Karst nocks and looses two arrows, missing with both.
Cackling and taunting the party, the slaad's claws tear across the deck, shredding wood as the creature moves past Aradurk, slashing apart another mooring. The ship lurches backward, now leaning at a 30 degree angle to the back and side. It is taking almost all focus to even stand still without falling anymore. Dugan is held up on the ship by only the wheel he is holding, watching helplessly as Rycider slips and falls on her run to help him stabilize the ship, sliding and slamming against the airship's railing. Her hand closes around the railing, but the momentum of her slide is too great, and she falls toward the ramparts below. At the last second, Wes directs a spell at her, and her fall slows to a manageable rate.

"Shit! We're almost out of time! I don't think the ship can take any more, finish it off!" Dugan shouts over the wind.
Round 4 Order: Death Slaad Players <=====
Placement: The airship is 100 feet above the ground. The slaad is 20 feet away from Aradurk. The slaad is 40 feet away from Karst and Tanakir. The slaad is 65 feet away from and Wes. Rycider is slowly falling toward the courtyard below, 60 feet below the ship. The slaad has cut five of the airship's ten moorings. Moving across the deck of the airship is nearly impossible at this point.
With the rope attached, Aradurk will muster all his strength, unsheath his sword, and attack with 2 attacks and use his action surge for a third attack.

Wes's fire bolt strikes the slaad straight on. The glare the creature throws the gnome's way displays the first true sign of danger its felt. Aradurk finds moving with the deep angle and unpredictable movement of the ship as impossible as it looks, slipping and falling after a few steps, but he manages to grab on to the railing, keeping himself from suffering the same fate as Rycider, who lands in the courtyard a few feet from Karst's fallen axe. Without it, the paladin nocks and fires two more arrows that fail to penetrate the slaad's natural armor of scales.
OOC: The players' turn is not over yet.
Aradurk is prone and has not used any movement or attacks. If he wishes, he can use half of his movement to stand up and try to move again to reach the slaad this round.
Tanakir still has his turn this round.
Once Aradurk and Tanakir have taken their turns, I will advance the round.
Using his sword to drive into the decking like a cane, Aradurk attempts to stabilize to one knee. Reaching with his free hand for his hand axe, he will attempt to throw it at the slaad’s head.

"Embrace the change!" the slaad shouts as Tanakir's flame crashes against its form. Aradurk throws a handaxe at the creature, which falls short, hitting the railing of the ship and clattering across the leaning deck.
Still holding Denorian's purple gem, the slaad folds its arms and leans backward, falling from the ship with a final cry, "She loves you!"
Sergeant Dugan has somehow managed to wrench the wheel long enough to bring the tilting airship spiraling above the courtyard of the Master's Hall below. "This is going to be a hard landing! Get ready to jump!" he shouts.
As Rycider watches from below, the airship spins in a circle, quickly descending into the courtyard - too quickly for an easy landing.
Attack 1 13 for 14
Attack 2 21 for 13 Karst strikes relentlessly against the creature, face grim after moving as carefully as he can to the creature.
