Their eyes glow with a white light as lasers fly at the fully manned ballista, searing Rycider with 12 radiant damage, Aradurk with 17(wrong roll) 12radiant damage, and Karst with 6 radiant damage. Two lasers burn small holes into the deck of the airship.

Tanakir glows slightly, casting magic over his club and his allies. Still working the ballista smoothly, Rycider, Aradurk, and Karst load, aim and fire another javelin. The closest construct moves a few feet and allows it to sail past harmlessly, but moves into Petunia and is held up long enough for Wes to land his fire bolt dead center, burning a hole through the construct's stone body.
Turning its attention to the wizard, the damaged construct fires its laser into Wes's flesh, dealing 8 radiant damage. The others continue to fire on the ballista crew, dealing 3 radiant damage to Karst and 10 radiant damage to Aradurk while another two lasers hit the deck.
As the ship catches up to the constructs, they begin to fly again, matching its speed through the sky.

Tanakir throws a ball of flame that peters out to the side of the wounded construct, seconds before it takes a massive blast of fire to its face from Wes while Petunia continues to flap madly about to block its vision. Rycider loads another missile into the ballista while Aradurk cranks it to adjust the aim. Karst lets loose, and the javelin blasts apart on the wounded construct's arm, dealing 15 piercing damage.

While three constructs continue to harass the ballista crew with their lasers, dealing 5 radiant damage to Karst, 6 radiant damage to Rycider, and hitting the railing with another, the remaining two fly to the deck of the airship, landing next to Tanakir.
The first grounded construct swings its fists in an arc twice at the genasi too slowly, slamming into the deck both times, tossing up chunks of wood with each impact. The other rumbles across the deck, heading for the stairs that lead to the top deck, where Sergeant Dugan mans the ship's wheel.
