Coming to stand next to Davar, pulling out a shortbow from underneath his cloak, Black will chirp out in Davar's voice, "Ahah!" and then point towards the forest.
Tilting his head to look up at Davar, the hood of his cloak sliding off the top of his head, you see the distinct shape of a Raven's head. Black feathers with a hint of blue tint on the edges and piercing red eyes stare up at you. Th beak opening as Plunge's voice comes out, "Go forest."
And then Black raises his hood once more, hunkers down a bit and starts to walk toward the forest.
Due to how I failed to see how Varren is not active yet in the forum, he will be switched out by Rolend. I will be changing the original post to make amends.)
Alpha Noobs - Outer Fringes
The forest is somehow vacant. There's no chittering of birds or calls of small animals, even the insects are eerily quiet. And even beyond that it's clear how the forest starts to turn more sinister. Around you all, you can see some tracks of people. Most notably those patrolling, but a few of you do notice that a few of these tracks aren't boots, rather actual bare feet, small ones. They trail into the forest, somewhat following a single track.
(You may choose to follow the tracks or wander the forest for a bit, either one shall start an encounter.)
Rolend will try stealth-ing, like the others. Stealth: 24
He is more than happy to follow the others. He has the Wood Elf instincts, but is more comfortable in an urban jungle than an actual one.

A carriage fit for nobility pulls into the keep. As the behemoth of a green-scaled dragonborn driver steps off, the carriage rises considerably in his wake. He pays neither this or any looks from the locals any mind on his way to opening the passenger door and escorting someone out. Another dragonborn steps out garbed in pitch black and voluminous robes, and similarly finely made gloves and boots. All of which made her stark white scales and piercing grey eyes stand out that much more. Some scales are tarnished near the eyes, denoting to those in the know her age being close to the middle years for dragonborn. And though not nearly as bulky as the driver, the conforms of cloth strained against a brickhouse figure.
"Do take care of yourself, Garglax, and continue to serve my sister well."The white-scaled dragon says coolly. A hard to read expression crosses the behemoth's face at her words. But after a moment he bows formally at the waist, and leaves the woman to turn, clothing shimmering blue slightly wherever debris brushed against some minor arcane barrier. When she eventually comes across Sanzor and the water genasi, her eyes light up, if only briefly. "Interesting. A fellow practioner of the art, and... you are some sort of plane-touched, are you not? I believe you call yourselves Genasi, or some such." She says, answering her own question, but still looking expectant at the duo for any confirmation.
"I am Biri, of clan Delmiriv, fourth in line to the head of my kin. As such, you are permitted to refer to me as Biri, if you so choose. But regardless, I assume you two are here in regards to the Dreadwoods as well?" As she says this, emerging from mass of ribbon bound tendril like scales forming a ponytail is a small white-furred monkey. Whereas Biri was cordial and cold, the monkey smiles and greets the duo warmly with waves both using monkey paws and angelic wings.
"Hello Biri, what brings you here. Seems a bit grand of an entrance for someone going into a death trap." The genasi says as he gets up to shake the dragonborns hand

Biri looks between the extended hand and genasi's face several times before taking the genasi by the fingertips shaking it there. "Yes, well, anything less would not be befitting Delmiriv."She admits proudly, then frowns and looks askance. "Unless of course you were my late brother. Why our matriarch put up with his lack in decorum for so long I have not the foggiest."Biri retreats into herself until the more mindful familiar flies off back to the carriage, and returns to her with an alabaster staff in hand.
"Thank you, Nigel. Such a good boy." She scritches it just beneath the chin. "... It is fascinating though, isn't it? The so called death trap here." Biri turns to the genasi, giving him a hard look.

You identify the tracks the as goblins, 10 of them to be precise. They have a loose formation and upon closer inspection you can see that there are two sets of tracks has been covered up. But with your keen eyes you can see the heavy footprint of someone more armored than the savage goblins.
"And you're sure this is the place?" a human asks no one in particular as he approaches the gates to the keep. "Very well, we can hunt them here. I don't know how many of the touched we can find in such a place, but you know more than I..." His white long coat billows as he strides through the gate. A sweep of silver hair covers his left eye but doesn't seem to impede his vision at all as he scans the courtyard for others. "And we cannot work alone?" He pauses. "You are certain? Very well." He strides towards the others. He stops, heavy boots sinking slightly in the soft courtyard soil, and nods to those gathered. "Kosh. You here to do The Work?"
"Nice to meet you Kosh, looking to help out with the forest. If so your in just the right place my friend.Plunge." Plunge says as he shakes the humans hand

Davar switches his gaze between Latrius and Alter a few times before speaking
"An ambush wouldn't be so bad. Saves us the trouble of finding them if they find us first."
Davar then notices the kenku (i assume) beside him
"Oh, hey there little fella. Watcha pointing at?"
